There's a Lot of Hating; I Say, I Say

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

Foghorn Leghorn, "I say, I say..."

Foghorn Leghorn, "I say, I say..."

Trump Haters - Get in line and wait your turn

So, not only is rage all the rage these days... raids are all the rage as well and it doesn't really matter if cooperation has been freely given or if everything asked for has been received.

That doesn't really matter with these modern day raid waves!

It's a thing now...go in big and go in, as if going after Al Capone himself!

Make it a big showy show for the mainstream media and their minions!

Well, let me clarify that..... raids are all the rage, but only when and only if...there is some connection to Donald Trump, in the ongoing effort to take him out!

Evidence?

No, none required. If there is a hint of some impropriety...a he said/she said, a text, a secret recording from a lifetime ago...then it is on...on like donkey kong!

~~~
After decades of women accusing President Clinton of threats, assault and yes, sadly, even rape and after decades of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton and teamwork...dismissing these women and choosing instead to destroy their dignity, their character and turn the lives of these women upside down...
Who knew...If President Clinton hadn't taken things as far as he did. If he had only made derogatory comments, instead of busting a lip and if he had only talked trash with the boys about women, instead of actually trashing them...
If he'd had an alleged affair with a porn star instead of an 'in everybody's face' affair with a young White House intern, then he would have become the scum of the earth...that would have really done him in!
  • We are to ignore all of the Clinton accusers that have consistently been pleading their cases for decades, with actual assault accusations and instead be outraged that a man, Donald Trump talked trash about women, while in the company of other men.
  • We are to ignore that a sitting President, Bill Clinton had sexual relations with an intern in the Oval Office of the People's White House, then lied to all of us about it, while wagging his finger at...the people!
  • Instead we should be flabbergasted that an out of work porn star may or may not...have received hush money (as she seeks the spotlight and much more money) from the President's Attorney, long before he was President, during an alleged affair.
Who knew...if only Trump had only said "tell Vlad after the election, I'll have more flexibility", (as Obama did over a live mic) instead of saying, "when you are a star, they let you do it, you can do anything“, while being recorded, discussing women, over a decade ago, before running for Office)
For the record, I am not dismissing or condoning this kind of talk, it is degrading to women, I am simply pointing out some glaringly obvious double standards!
The Left and Moral Authority
Along with their newly found moral authority and manufactured outrage over things they invented...the left dismisses any and all things that benefit all of America (even them), because they are so caught up in the Hating on Trump, they don't take the time to see it.
Speaking of 'moral authority', James Comey....he, the man with the Superman complex....
He who thinks "he is a part of the Justice League, forgetting that it is only the Justice Department" (gosh I love that line, so wish that I could take credit for it, but I cannot) I do not know who to credit, I've heard it here and there, not only a great line, but so perfectly apprapos!
Comey on the television circuit, (book coming out), heaping on and piling on with the hating on Trump.
While the Dems and the MSM are out doing their part....questioning President Trump's mental stability, Comey is out doing his part...questioning President Trump's moral stability.
Dang that Stormy Daniels, out there stealing much of his thunder, lightning fast to the camera she is...raining on his parade...
and what of Mueller?
What is his deal?
Didn't all of this...battling for celebrity; book pushing, career sparking opportunity, come out of a supposed investigation of a connection between Trump and Putin, to steal the election from Hillary?
Wasn't Mueller going to get to the bottom of it and didn't he get to the bottom...only to find.....nothing?
Forget the empty bottom, Hillary lost the election all on her own, the more she goes from place to place to save face - with excuse after excuse...of abuse, (poet, didn't know it) the more we are convinced of that, no doubt about it!
This all reminds me of some of those silly shows from the past, that made no sense whatsoever, from start to finish or a 'Cat in the Hat' book.
We are not going to idly stand by...
This is all getting so ridiculous.
We (the voting Public) are still here, we are paying close attention to this three ring circus, to hit our President, hit him hard and then hit him again.
As we hear the phrase each and every day, "2018 will belong to the Dems"...wishful thinking, I am thinking, not!
Those that center their lives around principle...are a part of those paying close attention, whether they voted for Trump or not, whether they've been his biggest supporter or not a supporter at all... Trump is their President and they wish no part in this concerted effort to end the businessman who came to town.
  • Because of you, those in the Mainstream Media
  • Because of you, overly obvious opportunists, Ms. Daniels and your publicity seeking Attorney, making spectacles of yourselves
  • Because of you Mr. Comey, Mr. F.B.I. guy, not properly dealing with the fact that you were fired and could never make it to the Justice League
This all out, all hands on deck, concerted effort to destroy our imperfect President, is only making him more appealing!
As for me, a Conservative, a former Cruz supporter, a reluctant-Trumper.....
I'd go work on his next Campaign, if asked, in a New York minute.
In the meantime and until I am asked, I will just be the proverbial thorn in the side of the circus stars!
Yep the probees have been through the wringer, no doubt and because Lefties/Dems are the ones whom should to be thoroughly probed, they’ll continue to point fingers, place obstacles and stall (with the help of MSM) for as long as they can.....for they’ve got their eye on the prize, the White House 2020.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on March 26, 2019:
I just had the thought. Pardons for everyone charged in the "probe". Rubber glove and two fingers to check the anus and no collision. Letting the poop pass would be good and no backlash. A great way to start the counter Special Prosecutor!
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on June 13, 2018:
Oh no doubt about that! There are also many people that were once opposed to Trump (although not Looney Lefties) that are now, not only in his corner, they are campaigning for him, because they have had it with the constant hatefest! They have come to realize that he is in this for all of the right reasons and by golly he is getting things done! It is not enough, that this group now gets that/gets him.....they now have the President's back!
Sharlee on June 12, 2018:
Oh, one more thing. I hope they keep it up, not only are they making fools of themselves. They are so helping our cause. Looking forward to November. I have close friends that are dyed in the wool dems or should I say were. The media is killing the Democratic party. Along with good old Bill Clinton. LOL
Sharlee on June 12, 2018:
I am not shocked. The left has the ability to deflect, and take a sentence and not even consider what sentence came before or after it. They change up the context and POOF! If they come up against a truth they can't spin to fit in their bias little box. They become frustrated, insult, toss out a glib statement. If none of those work, they put their fingers in their ears and hum. I am so pleased with the results of the summit, and I just know president Trump will do everything he can o bring this deal home...
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on June 12, 2018:
They are "Hating on Trump" more than ever, it will never end, it will never change!
I really am in disbelief at some (the majority) of the type of coverage that this is getting.
Sharlee on June 12, 2018:
NO, they just don't have the ability to be objective or give credit where it's due. The left has totally lost it... The agreement is being torn apart as I write. However, I feel wonderful about what was accomplished last night. You see I have the ability to see truth and facts. I have confidence that the president will accomplish what he has set out to do or he will walk away. He will then go to plan B, increase even harsher sanctions as promised. Kim will ultimatly see his way to give in to common sense. Too bad many of our own American citizens don't have a bit more common sense.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on June 12, 2018:
Sharon, the Lefties are really looking foolish as they poo-poo History in the making, via the U.S.A./N.Korea meeting/summit.
You'd think they'd be willing to give the President and his team a little bit of credit for this one, but.....
Sharlee on May 05, 2018:
tsadjatko, I have faith that not only the citizens that voted him in will keep him there. I have witnessed many in my own circle that have come over to Trump, they like that he is doing what he promised, and have seen the "light"... LOL The Dem's just have to keep doing what they are doing, they look more foolish each day. No worries about the next presidential election or 2018 election, He is producing, even with all the disgusting rhetoric.
The Logician from now on on May 05, 2018:
Sharon it will get better as the policies of the right are passed and the ill fated policies of the left are done away with or replaced simply due to their failure. As long as this isn't stopped from happening, as is happening now, eventually, the loony left will have no issues to stand upon, people in America will be experiencing prosperity stolen from them with liberal policies of the past. With the success of secure borders for the preservation and security of our free country, people will stop listening to the Democrat left, the Democrat left wing media and they will be viewed as the thorn in the side of Democracy and freedom that they are.
In the meantime if the left succeeds in its relentless schemes to depose Trump and oppose all that is good for America, well, we are more likely not looking at perpetual incivility but looking at an eventual civil war, and then, like the last one, things will get better
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on May 05, 2018:
I know the numbers are not record setting highs. But I am sure that the pollsters want the numbers more against.
My taking the middle of about 5 polls Trump is at 50% approval. But more significant is that it is rising as the Mueller investigation for impeachment is revving up even higher. That judge that smack talked them in Manafort is very telling.
Suzie from Carson City on May 04, 2018:
Shar...You have just asked me a 6-million $$ question. I'm no Nostradamus, nor even a charlatan fortune-teller~~But! In terms of the thick atmosphere of hatred, anger & severe bitterness permeating our Country...al-la-Trump, via liberals, I do not see it getting better. In fact, by all accounts, the rate & ferocity of the Lib's "Kill Trump Mission," I believe it can only become worse, more convoluted & chaotic. Toddlers never cease their tantrums, until and unless an adult intervenes, OR, they fully wear themselves down, pass out in slumber while sucking their thumbs....only to awaken and start over again...until they GET THAT DAMNED LOLLIPOP THEY DEMAND.
I'm certainly not expecting any miracles. Libs love to play God, I know, but Alas, they fail miserably, which merely fuels their outrage.
IMHO, they have gone from a dog-'n-pony, show to a circus, to a comedy, a tragedy & heading toward a disaster of epic proportion. It's disgraceful & shameful, the likes of which, America has never experienced.
It has to end one day. All things come to a close. I shudder to even imagine what that end will be.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 04, 2018:
Yes Sharon dragged by their feet or their ears one (guess that would be two) ;)
Sharlee on May 04, 2018:
Paula, Do you see it ever getting better? So odd that some can't even give credit where credit is due? I guess they will have to be dragged by their feet into a better America?
Suzie from Carson City on May 04, 2018:
Thanks, Sharlee. Sadly, human nature prevails. When people are consumed with hatred & anger, they are totally blind, deaf and dumb to anything good or positive at all. In fact, even if they do see it, they will NEVER acknowledge nor mention it. We 're all familiar with the old adage: "Biting off one's nose to spite one's face."
Sharlee on May 04, 2018:
It is apparent not many comments on President Trump's accomplishments. Although they are piling up daily. Would it not be better to look at facts, instead of innuendo? Accomplishments instead of mere conspiracy. Here is a positive that affects American's, here is a fact that proves our president is doing what we hired him to do. JUST OUT: 3.9% unemployment, breaking below 4% for the first time since 2000. GREAT for American workers!
Suzie from Carson City on May 03, 2018:
Yes Sir! We shall see what we shall see. And the reality simply is, what it is that we ultimately SEE, we will have to live with. I know I can and will because our lives go on, Mr. Valeant, one way or another, positively or negatively, despite our leaders or because of them, regardless of the climate, the economy, racism, crime, education and the environment.
If I'm not mistaken ( and trust me, I'M NOT) this world we live in......(and share, by the way) has spun on it's axis, involving all the above, since the beginning of time, as it is and as it does..... it will today and for many tomorrows, until it doesn't anymore.
In the meantime, I'll be damned if I'm going to go stark-raving mad, beat my head against brick walls & scream from one end of the country to the other over MOST things we have absolutely ZERO control over on a serious, rational level. Face these truths head on. Get over it & move on.
Or don't...because you seem to thrive on the insanity..... you go for it JOC. More power to ya!!
Sharlee on May 03, 2018:
JOC, Not sure if you heard this good news. You see it does not seem to be being covered as much as one might think it should be. Our President has once again accomplished something wonderful. Trump promised to be our voice, he promised to have our backs. President Trump negotiated the release of three American's that had been condemned to ten-year sentences in a Labor camp in NK. Got to love this guy, I would say. Do you ever give president Trump credit where credit is due? He is doing a wonderful job, and it is undeniable. His accomplishments speak very loudly. All the negative whimpering is almost not audible anymore.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 03, 2018:
Thanks All! This has been fun!
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 03, 2018:
We shall see who's narrative is fiction, and then it's going to be very entertaining.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on May 03, 2018:
Hmm, JOC sure sounds like he is indicting all Americans like Obama used to do. The accusations and allegations can be said of any administration that I have lived under from Kennedy until now. How dare a democrat or a republican not cure all the ills of mankind.
Seems to me that the worst of all these negative attributes are hate and antagonism.
Look at me, getting back to the point of the hub. So silly.
Suzie from Carson City on May 03, 2018:
JOC....I don't care what ANYONE says about you! I can clearly see what a fabulous fiction writer you are!! Please keep it up. We're loving it! So entertaining. Thank you! :)
The Logician from now on on May 03, 2018:
"I see huge deficits brewing," brewing? we already had them thanks to Obama- wait until the tax cut kicks in and you see revenue boom from an expanding economy.
"the destruction of the environment," really so you you buy into the hoax of manmade global warming? or do you think the unelected EPA making laws was helping the environment? Thank God Trump got rid of useless laws they enacted.
"profiteering and financial abuse by those in the administration" well that's a ruse - are you talking about the money Obama threw down the toilet on solaron and other scams that made his contributers rich? Nothing in this administration compares.
"an attack on health protections for those with preexisting conditions " A flat out lie
"islamophobia and racism on the rise" lol no evidence to support that, a total loony left wing talking point, as usual
"I see an administration in violation of so many laws of this country it is alarming, with pedophiles, alcoholics, domestic abusers chosen for leadership positions" You are still talking about the Obama and Clinton administrations, not this one.
"I see a distinct lack of diversity in this administration and open threats made against those not of the majority party" You see? You only see what you want to see which is nowhere near the facts. If you were being honest you'd have given facts to support your fears, but you don't because these are all left wing talking points you haven't even looked at objectively. Par for the course.
" Instead of an open mind, I have my eyes open to the threats this administration poses." YOU ARE A COMPLETE JOKE.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 03, 2018:
ABWilliams, you and I are for sure. We both disagree on the legitimacy of the investigation and can often converse about the points.
As for the progress, I see huge deficits brewing, the destruction of the environment, profiteering and financial abuse by those in the administration, an attack on health protections for those with preexisting conditions, islamophobia and racism on the rise. I see an administration in violation of so many laws of this country it is alarming, with pedophiles, alcoholics, domestic abusers chosen for leadership positions. I see a distinct lack of diversity in this administration and open threats made against those not of the majority party. Instead of an open mind, I have my eyes open to the threats this administration poses.
The Logician from now on on May 03, 2018:
Thanks AB, but as usual when the liberal is revealed as using tactics like deflecting, straw men and changing the subject, putting words in our mouths, all they can do then is attack the messenger - so transparent but I'm glad every time they put their pathetic selves on display.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 03, 2018:
JOC, we are going round and round on this.
TSAD is a part of this conversation and has been since the start. No trolls here.
Open your mind to this President, our President, as he continues to kick butt and get things done. You'd be amazed at the progress. Have you even noticed?
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 03, 2018:
The liberal-hating troll returns with so many facts to add to the conversation. Let me know when you can dispute the fact that Manafort and Page were under surveillance back in 2014. And that the Papadopolous conversation with the Australians about the Trump campaign getting information from the hacking and Page's trip to Russia were what kicked off the investigation in June of 2016.
The Logician from now on on May 02, 2018:
Sharon, smoke and mirrors provided by joc. It is so obvious he is raising another straw man by talking about warrants and things that have nothing to do with any thing you said - you can not reason with people like him, they can't even stay on topic.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Sharlee, no dancing, you just don't seem to understand. Page and Manafort were both under FISA surveillance in 2014, long before they were in the Trump campaign for their connections to foreign governments. Trump brought them in with no regards to their previous connections to those governments. The dossier wasn't even a factor in the FISA warrants from 2014, so you're pretty confused about the timelines and the fact that Trump brought in people with suspect connections to foreign governments.
Now, for the second FISA surveillance on Page, the request was made three weeks before the election, one month after Page was dismissed from the Trump team because those previous connections came to light. So I just don't know how you can make the claim that the government spied on the Trump campaign when Page wasn't even with them when the surveillance began. If you could come to grips with this timeline, maybe you could see through the BS Team Trump is gaslighting you with.
Sharlee on May 02, 2018:
JOC, you are dancing in circles... Let's go way back... To when the FBI found it necessary to obtain warrants to spy on Page and Manafort. For one thing (fact) they used the dossier to obtain the FISA warrants. The FBI, as well as the Obama Whitehouse, knew that Hillary Clintons campaign paid for the dossier. They also knew discredited x spy Steele was behind the dossier, and that the information was not in anyway verified as truth. Yes, instead of obtaining FISA warrants they should have told Trump if Page and Manafort were being surveilled. This entire investigation was orchestrated. It was orchestrated by political crooks that include FBI, CIA as well as Obama, and the Clinton's. You may believe all the BS that comes your way, but anyone with any common sense can see what this is, and who is behind it. Hopefully, Trump blows this mess wide open and let the chips fall where they may. What is most disturbing in all of this is that many have come to buy into this kind of dishonesty. Where is our society heading my God... Actually, this is sickening. Open your eyes, it's all very clear. The Dems are at a fever pitch because they just can't bring the president down. And he is daily making them look foolish. You see sometimes the good guy wins... And the bad guys are shown for what they are.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 02, 2018:
We already know who was 'Colludin' 'Round Here, but you are in denial.
I hate this saying with a passion but....let's agree to disagree and move on!
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Why would you tell someone that another person is under surveillance? Kind of defeats the purpose of running any surveillance, doesn't it? Page and Manafort had enough public contacts with Russia previously to be a concern to any normal candidate. Trump hires only the best (agents of other countries, domestic abusers, alcoholics, and people that abuse the financial ethics of their departments) though, right?
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
I'm all for the investigation that gets to the basis of how much Russia interfered in our last election and to see who might have worked with them, yes. And if someone tried to stop that investigation in a manner that broke US laws pertaining to obstruction of justice, then they need to be held accountable, yes.
Logically, if people are innocent in this investigation, they would welcome the truth coming out that absolves them, no? Especially when the person coming to those conclusions is from their same political party and an esteemed military veteran and public servant.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 02, 2018:
JOC if the truth be told, I was probably under the surveillance of Obama's FBI, because I am a 'Known Conservative'.
I guess it is safe to say that you are completely okay with this 'investigation' which has been all about undermining our President and nothing to do with any crime?
Sharlee on May 02, 2018:
Yes, it certainly would have been wise to vet any and all. You have missed my point... Was it not the Obama administrations duty to inform Trump of the fact there were two of his team under surveillance? As I said, this was their Ace in a hole in case they lost... This makes me disgusted. So ridiculous we have to put up with such crooks in Government. Trump was clearly not a politician or he would have known that the swamp was full of slime that would do and say anything.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Sharlee, I'm talking about FISA surveillance from 2014 and you bring up the Steele dossier from late 2016? Page and Manafort had known contacts with foreign governments as far back as 2014 when both were surveilled. It was on the Trump campaign to vet them before hiring people connected with those governments to be involved with the United States Presidential campaign.
Sharlee on May 02, 2018:
Joc. Yes, it is true both had FISA warrants issued to surveil.them. There is much speculation surrounding how the warrants were obtained. If one is to believe Nunes, and many other Government representatives that have been all over the media stating that the DNC paid for the Steele dossier, and Russian's were the main persons involved in providing information for the dossier, and that the FISA court was not provide these facts. These facts were well known as I said by not only FBI but the Obama administration, why were they not passed on to the Trump campaign? I hope you will take time to answer this question.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Sharlee, you'd think Trump would vet his own people and not rely on Obama to do it for him. Especially with their strained relationship due to the birther fabrication headed by Trump. Pawning the vetting of Trump campaign staff off on Obama's administration is ridiculous.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
How so, in believing that a campaign shouldn't hire staff with known ties to a hostile foreign government? I bet it's more than CNN that thinks that.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on May 02, 2018:
JOC you kind of sound like a mimic of the famous tabloid CNN.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Both had FISA surveillance on them prior to joining the Trump campaign, Page and Manafort in 2014.
Sharlee on May 02, 2018:
" be known agents representing other foreign governments". Had I not heard any of the above mentioned were "known agents"? In regards to "ones who have previously been under surveillance by the FBI like Page and Manafort." If this is true, would it not have been the Obama's administrations responsibility to inform the Trump campaign as such? Would have it been the prudent thing to do or perhaps the Obama administration felt it would benefit the Dem's, in the end? To cover all bases and be able to open investigation on the Trump campaign, just in case they lost? Is this not exactly what they did? Do you think the Russian investigation would be going on now if Hillary won? The Dems are crooks, plain and simple. Hopefully, the persons who orchestrated this deception will, in the end, be prosecuted. Just my opinion.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 02, 2018:
"Previously under surveillance by the FBI"....oh-kay! You have failed again to make your case.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Maybe we can agree that hiring people to be leaders of your campaign shouldn't be known agents representing other foreign governments. If you're scoring at home, that included Carter Page, Mike Flynn, Rick Gates, and Paul Manafort. And especially ones who have previously been under surveillance by the FBI like Page and Manafort.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 02, 2018:
We can agree on that JOC! What? The illegal hacking of Trump and the Republican party by the opposing party, the criminal ringleader Hillary Clinton and her Criminal Democratic Party.
(First I was in agreement with Randy and now with you, It's a miracle ;)
JOC from Syracuse, NY on May 02, 2018:
Only Trump supporters don't see the illegal hacking of a political party, and the consequent release of materials in coordination with the opposite political party talking points as a crime.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on May 02, 2018:
Dan Bongino, former Secret Service Agent has said it best, regarding Mueller and Company and now the possibility that they'll issue a subpoena, "They are not investigating a crime here, they are investigating Donald Trump. You investigate a crime and then you find people, you don't find people and then go find a crime."
Sharlee on May 01, 2018:
It certainly was... It was played out, and they have been caught. Hopefully, they will pay for their dishonesty. Each and every one of them.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 28, 2018:
Randy, I'd rather see ya''ll give up hatin' on our President!
No matter what is thrown at him, it doesn't stick, but that doesn't stop ya'll and it most definitely doesn't stop him.
The former President told us we should accept evil coming to a town near us, meantime......Trump has been kicking ISIS butt, has been instrumental in bringing North and South Korea together and hasn't allowed Assad to kick dirt all over his red lines.
Give the man some credit! I haven't even mentioned our thriving economy! Our little business is staying very busy...love it, it's a very good thing. We need to hire another crew soon.
He may not be born to be in D C , but he was born to be President right now.
Ya'll need to give it up, give it a rest, as the man continues to kick butt.
Suzie from Carson City on April 27, 2018:
Gather round kids! Cookie Monster wants you to know, the LETTER of the day is " L " follow along...........Loonies, leftists, liars, leaks, libelous, ludicrous, & losers. Cookie Monster says, "The most important "L " word of all, kids, is L O V E".....(and it's mighty scarce around here!)
No one is tiring of all this besides me? Hey, is a dossier anything like a derriere? Get back to me on that, would ya?
The Logician from now on on April 27, 2018:
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 27, 2018:
Yes and the committee was not focused on the dossier except for who produced it, not who published it.
That is not the leak or classified document involved at all.
A red herring? Strawman? Certainly not genuine to set this up and then clear it up -- who cares?
The Logician from now on on April 27, 2018:
The Committee assesses that leaks to CNN about the dossier were especially significant, since CNN’s report ‘ that a two-page synopsis of the report was given to President Obama and Trump’ was the proximate cause of BuzzFeed News’ decision to publish the dossier for the first time just a few hours later,” the report stated. “Until that point, the dossier had been ‘circulating among elected official, intelligence agents, and journalists,’ but remained unpublished.
So it says there that the dossier was already out and about when Clapper's discussions (AKA leaks as described to make Clapper look bad) with CNN were happening.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 27, 2018:
There was whole lotta leaking... I say, I say...a whole lotta leakin' going on 'round here! :)
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 27, 2018:
The leak and the classified documents are at issue. Not the dossier. Off course the dossier could not be leaked or classified. Disclosure of a substantive nature of private meeting between a president and "intelligence" department is classified until Trump says it is not.
Read (18 USC 793, 794)
The Logician from now on on April 27, 2018:
Try as you may to change the facts another FAIL. Comey told trump he was informing him because he heard CNN not buzzfeed had the dossier and it was Clapper who gave it to them - nothing you said changes any of those facts but of course you have to deflect
http://thefederalist.com/2018/04/27/house-intel-re...
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 27, 2018:
Buzzfeed already had the dossier. Even the Federalist acknowledged that little tidbit. So Comey and Clapper were discussing information already in the hands of the press at that point. Not sure how you consider that a leak. It's why they briefed Trump.
The Logician from now on on April 27, 2018:
Speaking of leaking, It came out today that when Comey told Trump about the doccier Comey was told to do so by Clapper and Clapper told Comey he was going to give it to CNN. Comey told Trump he was informing him of the dossier because he "heard" that CNN had it as if he got that info from CNN. This was all a contrived set up. Clapper, Obama's operative, leaked the false dossier to CNN and Comey knew it.
Sharlee on April 27, 2018:
Well, guess what, some in Washington don't ask others to leak info... They step up to the plate and get the information to the press the old fashion way... It's called transparency. He may have thought his information would be buried, redacted until there was little way of deciphering it. No, he did not pull a "Comey" leak... "The genie is out of the bottle, and can't be put back."
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 26, 2018:
I'm not talking the Nunes memo, I'm talking the Nunes who went to the White House to get information that Trump aides were caught up in incidental surveillance and then immediately ran to the press instead of back to his committee. Then he had to recuse himself because of his tactics that were so clearly partisan.
Sharlee on April 26, 2018:
JOC, I was referring to your comment "JOC
40 hours ago from Syracuse, NY
You mean the same Nunes that bypassed his committee to give information directly to Trump. Yeah, I think he'd lie. He's about as partisan as they come."
The president was given the document and decided to declassify the memo in Feb 2018. I appreciated his choice to release it, I appreciate transparency. An opportunity to make up my own mind after reviewing information. It clearly appears the memo brought to light things that are now being investigated.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 25, 2018:
Actually, I'm talking about when Nunes went to the White House to get information from the White House about issues pertaining to surveillance of those in the White House.
Sharlee on April 25, 2018:
JOC, Yes that Nunes. I asume you are reffering to the " Nunes Meno"? The four-page document, prepared by Chairman Devin Nunes where he alleges serious abuses of power by the FBI during its investigation into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia. Which now very much appears to be true. He was within his right to show his memo to the President. The president has the right to see any form possible wrong doing that may be occurring in any Government office. he is commander and chief. How do you feel about the fact much of what Nunes warned the president of in his memo has come to fruition?
Nunes is a brave patriot...
Sharlee on April 25, 2018:
TSAD , I do see what you mean...There is no chance of reasoning with them. They rarely answer a direct question. They deflect quickly to another rant. I just can't fathom their thought process?
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 25, 2018:
I have not looked it up yet but certainly one who knowingly receives classified documents and publishes them must be as liable as the original person who released it illegally.
One need only look at the Saucier case to see how serious this is.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 25, 2018:
So now Comey's friend, Daniel Richman, whom Comey handed memos to (at least one, classified) is actually Comey's Attorney....
Alrighty then... in this Circus, there's about a dozen rings. There is definitely a concerted effort to keep us dizzy or to have us looking off in the wrong direction at the right time.
The Logician from now on on April 24, 2018:
See Sharon, there is no reasoning with them...like the Democrats aren't the most partisan leaders ever to be elected! And they are running for the next election on raising taxes! how insane is that?
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 24, 2018:
You mean the same Nunes that bypassed his committee to give information directly to Trump. Yeah, I think he'd lie. He's about as partisan as they come.
Sharlee on April 24, 2018:
Valeant, I have a simple question. Do you think Devin Nunes Chair of the House Intelligence Committee would go on national TV, and make claims he could not substantiate? He has given multiple interviews in which he made the claim that the FISA court was not informed that the DNC was behind the dossier or that they paid for it. Do you think this man would lie openly about something this important? Adam Schift used very careful wording in his rebuttal. Using the word " “I think the FISA court was made well aware of the potential political bias of those supporting Christopher Steele’s work,” he said." He never touched on the fact that the dossier was paid for by the DNC. He did not speak of it. Nunes did not mince words, he made the open claim that th DNC paid for the dossier. "I think"... You may want to visit youtube and listen to his rebuttal.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 24, 2018:
Thank you Eric. This hub has definitely brought forth some good dialogue, heated at times, engaging for sure.
I appreciate all of you for contributing to it.
I hope that we can get to the point where those that haven't given Trump a chance since day one...will come around (not expecting there will be a lovefest, just a little more courtesy and a lot less criticizing)
The Logician from now on on April 24, 2018:
Touche' . I see your point, but you know what, you are not the problem, Randy is, because his dig wasn't just at you but he was lumping all of us in with your comment because we approved of what you said so forgive me for pointing out what a dispicable loony liberal comment he made.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 24, 2018:
I think we get back to the title. I think I have seen some blinded by hate of Trump stuff here. Going from the other side I really don't see the hate against folks like Mueller and Schiff and Comey, criticism but not a blind hate. If one just steps back and looks, we can feel the burning anymosity of anything that has to do with Trump, it is visceral.
I am sure somewhere someone came up with an idea that hate can be justified but it isn't ever. It is an emotion that is determined to exist by choice.
The concept of hate the hater is flawed. Although it seems fair to hate the hate.
I reviewed my posts here and by reading them you cannot tell if I support Trump or not. We dealt with some facts here and that is good. I suppose in the long run of things only we can know if we hate.
I learned a lot, thank you for this hub.
Suzie from Carson City on April 24, 2018:
Tony.....I guess first of all, I should explain I am purposeful. Having just had open heart surgery in November, It's both foolish and lethal for me to get my knickers in a knot over a stupid "dig"...so to speak. You know, if Randy truly meant to insult me, more power to him. Everything is relative, Tony. I think you know that. I had someone try to kill me once...as in take my life. Can I honestly get ruffled because I was likened to a cretin? That shit is for kids...on a playground. I refuse to raise my blood pressure over kid's games when we all have major issues in our REAL lives. Can you understand that? I hope so, but honestly, if not, it is definitely your gig...not mine.
Now, a little hint to those who would really like to infuriate me and watch my head spin....just go ahead and hurt, insult or otherwise disturb any of my true LOVED ones. They then will have a fucking mad woman on their hands and trust me, I WILL be the victor. Till then? I simply can't be bothered. I had no concern whatsoever if he or ANYONE would still "be my friend." Hell, Tony, no doubt I made that perfectly clear within my comment. Take a pill & chill a while. You'll live longer.
I know I am not shallow. In fact, I'm the furthest from shallow. No one tells me what or who I am but ME.
The Logician from now on on April 24, 2018:
So Paula, Randy's direct reply to your comment
"I have no rebuttal to such vilification of those you guys disagree with. No wonder you chose such a cretin to fight what you believe is the same.
I'll waste no more of my time as you'll learn the hard way. Toodle doo!"
Is not a dig?
Whether you felt anything or not, if you THINK that is not a dig, accusing you of being so shallow as to villainize people simply because you disagree with them (which is a lie) and then he accuses you of being so shallow as to use that behavior as your justification for choosing Trump,
Then you aren't just thick skinned, you are choosing to be blind
for what? So you are still liked by the person who just despicably insulted you?
Well that's all well and good, that is if you can afford me the same privilege.
Suzie from Carson City on April 24, 2018:
First of all JOC, for the record, in case you didn't know, sending links in the comment sections is totally forbidden by both HP and Google. It is only by sheer luck and/or lack of time and monitors that anyone slides these links past the surveyors. They just immediately and unceremoniously DELETE any comments with links included.
I rarely if EVER click on them and I know that most writers here ignore links. I'm aware nearly everyone has injected links into the comment sections. I've done it a time or 2 myself. Nonetheless IT IS AGAINST "TOS"/ RULES & REGS. YOU CAN READ IT FOR YOURSELF.
In other words, stop whining that your links are "glossed over" or we can just have TEAM delete them all.....and then they'll be keeping an eye on you. Would you rather that?
If you wish to make a point, use your words....not links with the words of others.
Hannity & Lewandowski may have been "flat out lying" but for 100% certainty, you are becoming Flat Out annoying.
The Logician from now on on April 24, 2018:
nailed that one Sharon
Sharlee on April 24, 2018:
JOC, I may have missed something? However, I don't think anyone is accusing Mueller of anything? Not sure how Hannity entered the conversation either? Did someone quote Hannity or insult Muellers reputation or are you deflecting? "Here is an example of those brilliant facts conservatives are being fed:" You assume to much Joc.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 24, 2018:
I do like how everyone just glosses over the link I put up that has Lewandowski and Hannity flat out lying about Mueller.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 24, 2018:
Hear, Hear!
Sharlee on April 24, 2018:
Paula, well said...
Sharlee on April 24, 2018:
AB, I agree there is so much daily rhetoric being thrown at us. It has made many American's with innate common sense finally sit up and take notice. This awakening has caused a stir in public opinion, a stir that has resulted in " the great divide". My common sense tells me that finally we have someone in the WH that is working for us, and all the rhetoric is not in any respect stopping him from accomplishing what I hoped he would accomplish. I have hope that the DOJ and our courts will work to sort out all the rest. If there are people that have committed crimes, I believe they will be brought to justices. I am keeping the faith, because I truly think the people will be heard loudly if justice is not done. We have more Government transparency than we have ever had.... We have a president that has taken Washington "by storm". And thank God those with common sense have awaken, are watching, and gathering facts.
Suzie from Carson City on April 24, 2018:
It's so very much more than "sources," that may or may not be trusted. It's who we are and what we believe in, for the reasons we believe. It's honor, pride & patriotism and the voices of our forefathers. It's listening and watching, using common sense~~remembering the past and moving forward with hope and strength. It's truly honoring all who have fought and died to make our country great.
The Constitution, our privilege, privacy and loyalties.
It's leaving well-enough alone & protecting what we treasure.
It's not the "news" fake or real. It's where we've been, where we are and where we need to go. It's an understanding and a respect for how life truly is and our love of uniqueness & respectability.
We needn't shed all we are, all we have and leave ourselves in loss and lack...For who, for what, if not for us...our very own? There's enough to share, enough to care without throwing it all away.
We can hear with our own ears and see with our own eyes. Our minds & hearts work well & in concert. We cannot be led to believe what is unbelievable nor accept that which runs against every fiber of our being and that which we know at our deepest core is simply not right. It's just not complicated until man, in his need to tear down, re-create, fix what is not broken.....and pull us all far away from goodness and reality into a world of fabrications. I trust no man who insists on wealth and power before he does his job for the PROGRESS of EVERY man.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 24, 2018:
Spot on Eric, "politically motivated memos/redactions...create doubt."
There is so much coming at us, both spun and unspun, notably politically motivated and like I stated earlier, it has gotten to the point of ridiculous.
There comes a point, when we need to just step away, look at the big picture (ugly as it may be) and draw our own conclusions.
I know where I stand, without a doubt.
Carry on ;) You're up JOC.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 24, 2018:
JOC I am looking and it seems like these are not quotes and what the responsive doc. does here is argument with not facts included from page 2&3.DOJ also disclosed
* Steele's prior relationship with the FBI;
* the fact of and reason for his termination;
* the assessed political motivation of those who hired him.
Are not supported as they would be in a rebuttal doc. Maybe we could call these conclusions of a learned informed person. I can buy that concept.
Both this and the memo are seemingly so politically motivated along with the redactions creates a doubt as too there candor and accuracy. Probably for fact finding they are not warranted as reliable.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 23, 2018:
I think these days Randy, everything which has happened, since Trump, is so blatant and bordering on ridiculous, it is just a matter of knowing better and relying on our God-given common sense.
We are paying close attention, we don't need to rely on a certain guy or a go to source.
At least, that is how I see it!
Thanks all for a great discussion!
Randy Godwin from Southern Georgia on April 23, 2018:
Yes Paula, we're still friends although we rely on different sources of info. I really don't know who you guys listen to or believe. So unlike Val, I'll leave you guys to your own kind. :P
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 23, 2018:
No Tsad, it was in response to Sharlee's comment, please try and keep up. Here is an example of those brilliant facts conservatives are being fed: https://www.mediamatters.org/video/2018/04/20/watc...
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 23, 2018:
Eric: https://www.npr.org/2018/02/24/588563076/memo-by-h... Top of page 2 and middle of page 3 of said document. Direct quotes from it.
The Logician from now on on April 23, 2018:
Well joc, nothing you just said has anything to do with Randy's comment of departure which is the example that it is exactly what we said. But of course you are going to raise a straw man on what we are talking about so as to distract from the actiual topic awe are discussing. You are so transparent, what is it with you liberals, is hubpages where you practise liberal tactics?
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 23, 2018:
JOC I am really trying to understand your position. I read it and those are not quotes from it.
If I am mistaken tell me where they are. Perhaps they are contentions rather than facts. And that gets to the heart of the matter. Were facts presented or just persuasive argument.
I do not fault the FBI here so much as that FISA Judge.
JOC from Syracuse, NY on April 23, 2018:
Guys, it's not that we run when facing facts, it's that neither side wants to believe the facts that the other side's media is presenting so it's frustrating for both differing groups within each ideology. Both sides believe they are right, but both are being presented something drastically different. Your side has been told that the media is lying to you, our side's media tells us that your leader is lying to us. Even our Congressional reps have different truths about the same events. Trust is gone at this point and all either side does is blame the other one for the country's woes. It's the sad state of affairs.
Suzie from Carson City on April 23, 2018:
Friends & other folks....Hello there! I certainly appreciate support just as much as anyone, but you see, I have lived in this world, this country, many decades, paid my dues & my taxes (as well as those of people who have never paid) I've lived a normal, somewhat exciting & fulfilling life and had more than my share of tragedy & misfortunes, which btw, I rose above by blood, sweat & tears without WHINING.
I will exercise my rights any time I see fit in the manner I so choose, based upon my knowledge, wisdom, experience & beliefs. As a confident, honest and intelligent adult, I need approval from NO ONE, nor do I look for it. All are free to disagree, insult me or even get angry. This is their problem, not mine. I am not affected by such rhetoric in the least. I truly believe in "to each his own" & that goes for every choice, action and lifestyle. We are a FREE people, my friends.
I haven't a single problem with Mr. Godwin. In fact, I like Randy. His political leanings do not alter my opinion of him as a fellow human being. He's not insulting me by referring to DT as a "Cretin," (interesting label). There may be times I would even agree with him. However, for me, who KNOWS HRC up close & personal (Her NY Reign)~ she makes Trump look like the Dali LLama. In fact, she makes Manson Gacy & Dahmer look like altar boys. The woman (using the term very loosely) is evil incarnate to her very dirty core. And her life long choice of "partner in crime," is the nastiest pig alive. Period, the end. No ifs...ands nor buts. Her cronies of course are such lovelies as ....YIKES, Maxine unholy Waters, Nancy Is this Mic on? Pelosi, Chuck Hand me a Tissue Schumer.....Good God what a MOTLEY crew!! I'd sooner attend the Prom with Osama Bin Laden than spend 5 minutes with those imbeciles.
Have a nice evening all............Peace, Paula
If Randy intended to throw me a dig, he'll have to try harder next time. I didn't feel a thing.
The Logician from now on on April 23, 2018:
Absolutely! And thank you for telling it like it is!
Sharlee on April 23, 2018:
TSAD. I agree with you... It's very clear that most liberals do cut and run when they run into problems facing facts. Some also resort to insults . whether a direct insult to a person posting a comment or just blasting an opposite opinion. Some just resort to reporting someone they don't agree with for the slightest push back... I have gone round after round with Randy. I once again wanted to make an attempt to explain how I come to my opinions. Hoping to bridge the gap.
And I too feel that Paula could not have been more accurate in her comment. The Clinton's have no credibility, and have lived a live that included many forms of crime. I have lived through all of them, so no Russian needed to remind me of them. It was shocking to me when she decided to run once again for president after all the sandals and pay to play crimes she marked up while Secretary Of State.
In regards to "vilification". The lib's can dish it out, but can't take it. They seem to lack the ability to even consider their opinion may be wrong. Even when faced with facts. Paula was giving an opinion, she based her opinion on not only her own feelings, but facts. The Clinton's may not have been convicted of their crimes, but they committed those crimes. Number one dyed in the wool fat - The FBI physically removed on illegal computer from her home. This is a crime, she broke a law... Yet she was not even charged. If that were me or you we would be in jail. FACT.
