Like many of you out there, I am an American voter who who trusts that our checks and balances will protect our democracy from harm.
Back when Republican candidates were running for president in the 2012 American presidential election, a major issue of interest among them was the Keystone XL Pipeline. President Barack Obama was so stubborn in his decision to disallow it from coming into our nation from Canada insofar as he was even at odds with Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill during his tenure in the White House. His adamant stance on it jeopardized our economy and had a corrosive effect on our diplomatic relations with Canada.
After President Obama won a second term in the Oval Office, I remember having a conversation with my brother-in-law one Thanksgiving about the lack of sensibility that President Obama had in that he would not budge on allowing the Keystone XL Pipeline to come into the United States of America. My brother-in-law told me that back then the Canadians had even been considering building the rest of the Keystone XL Pipeline around the United States of America, which would have required them to construct it in the Pacific Ocean. I told my brother-in-law that it would be extremely dangerous for such a project to be undertaken, because the Pacific Ocean was very turbulent. As someone who had once lived on the West Coast myself, I was able to attest to that fact.
My brother-in-law also told me back then that the Canadians had entertained the idea of turning to the People's Republic of China for assistance in building the Keystone XL Pipeline in the Pacific Ocean around our nation. I responded that it would seem that the Congress would have had enough votes to override President Obama's ban on the Keystone XL Pipeline. Many Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill allied with the Republicans in an effort to do so, but, unfortunately, they did not have the number of votes they needed to achieve that goal.
My brother-in-law and I agreed that President Obama was never one to apply critical thinking to his decisions about matters of this nature. A good example of this same defect of President Obama was when he traveled to South Africa a couple of years ago with the delusion that everything there was harmoniously perfect. Willem Petzer gives an accurate description of President Obama in this regard in his video below.
Willem Petzer Describes President Barack Obama's Sugarcoated Perspective Of South Africa During His Visit There
Luckily, President Donald J. Trump did the right thing and issued a presidential permit approving the Keystone XL Pipeline immediately after he took office in 2017. The construction of this pipeline created thousands of jobs. It helped make our nation energy-independent. In other words, we no longer had to import oil and gasoline from other nations that were usually hostile toward us. People began to notice a positive difference at the gasoline pumps. Unfortunately, it was all too beautiful to last.
1. The Keystone XL Pipeline Confronted Judicial Challenges During The Trump Administration
On November 9, 2018, United States District Judge Brian M. Morris blocked the permit that President Trump had issued to give the go-ahead to the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline here in our nation. This same judge ruled that a supplemental environmental review had to be completed before the construction could proceed. Unfortunately, the bumps that the Keystone XL Pipeline encountered in the road did not stop there. The Supreme Court of the United States ("SCOTUS") eventually got involved in the matter and held up the pipeline's construction. You can get the full details from the video below on how the court system intervened because of pushback from overzealous and ill-informed environmentalists.
The Supreme Court Of The United States Blocks The Construction Of The Keystone XL Pipeline
Now that the SCOTUS has a majority of conservative Republican justices, it is unlikely that the Keystone XL Pipeline will run into any pushback from that institution. However, an even bigger problem than that has evolved since then. Joe Biden issued an executive order on his first day in the Oval Office that revoked the permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline here in the United States of America. His actions have many Americans furious at him. He has also made enemies with the Canadians.
2. Joe Biden Sabotaged Diplomatic Relations Between Canada And The United States Of America
Canadians have fared well so far with the Keystone XL Pipeline in terms of how their scientists have ensured that it would have no adverse impact on their environment. Even Mr. Biden has to be aware of this fact, unless, of course, his cognitive decline has blinded him to it. He stubbornly insisted upon scrapping the Keystone XL Pipeline's presence in the United States of America, and now he has Canadian government officials angry at him and wanting to give him a piece of their mind, among other things, after thousands of Canadians stand to lose their jobs as a result. Alberta Premier Jason Kenney voices his frustrations about Mr. Biden's arbitrary and rash decision to put the ax to the Keystone XL Pipeline, in a video below.
Canadian Official Slams Joe Biden For Nixing The Keystone XL Pipeline As Jobs Vanish In His Nation
What is particularly disturbing about the interview in the news clip above is that Mr. Biden's decision to scrap the Keystone XL Pipeline here in our nation has cheated Canadian investors out of billions of dollars that they put into this same pipeline's construction and success, and now Mr. Kenney is talking about seeking sanctions against the United States of America. In this sense, Mr. Biden's decision to put the ax to the Keystone XL Pipeline will definitely not be in the American people's best interests.
Mr. Kenney indicates in his interview above that Mr. Biden giving compensation to all of those same Canadian investors would be the only thing that would discourage the Canadian government from imposing those same sanctions. In other words, Mr. Biden's actions are not going to come back at the American people as being cheap.
An interesting point that Mr. Kenney makes in his interview above is that the Keystone XL Pipeline actually reduces emissions. Importing oil and gasoline from OPEC dictatorships is going to have an adversely opposite effect on the environment of the United States of America.
In the interview above, Mr. Kenney states that he hopes that Canadian government officials can have an intelligent conversation with Mr. Biden about the Keystone XL Pipeline to urge him to make the right decision. I somehow do not believe that they will get anywhere with Brain-Dead Biden; and so far I have been correct about it, because Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's subsequent telephone conversation with Mr. Biden about it was futile. Now the Canadian Parliament is blaming Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau for not trying harder to convince Mr. Biden to change his mind about the Keystone XL Pipeline. You can watch the hysteria that unfolded between a member of the Canadian Parliament and Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau in the video below.
Canadian Parliamentary Member Erin O'Toole Squared Off With Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Over The Keystone XL Pipeline
The irony of the video above is that the Canadian Parliament has a much easier way of removing Prime Minister Trudeau from office than our Congress has of removing Mr. Biden from the Oval Office. In other words, the Canadian prime minister has to walk the white line, whereas our president has the freedom of ruining our economy and our diplomatic relations with other countries. Now, thanks to Mr. Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau may find himself out of a job in the near future. Nice going, Brain-Dead Biden.
3. Trump Supporters Like Green, Renewable Energy Too
Okay, I completely get it. Many of us Americans look forward to the day when we will no longer have to rely on fossil fuels and our technology will be advanced enough that we'll be able to use solar energy and other green energy sources to run our households and power our cars. However, we all have to be realistic about it and come to an awareness that our technology has not evolved enough for our nation to get along without fossil fuels. Experts have even attempted to convey this fact to Bill Maher on his HBO series Real Time With Bill Maher, but like so many diehard liberals, he won't hear of it.
I'm not opposed to Mr. Biden taking action to promote green, renewable energy and to create jobs in that industry. I'm not mindless of the fact that the oil and the gasoline resources of our planet are eventually going to dry up and we will have no other choice but to rely on alternative forms of energy. However, until our solar energy technology and the likes are far along enough in their evolution for us to rely on them altogether, we need fossil fuels to tide us over until then and we cannot afford to phase out jobs in the oil and gasoline industry.
In the meantime, our nation's economy needs the Keystone XL Pipeline and the thousands of good-paying jobs that it has created. Mr. Biden is also playing Russian roulette with our nation's future by sabotaging jobs related to fracking. We don't want to be put in a very bad position of having to import oil and gasoline from Russia, the Middle East or Venezuela, because our nation has very slippery relationships with the people who are in power in those places; and that is exactly what is going to happen now that Mr. Biden has put the ax to the Keystone XL Pipeline. Therefore, Mr. Biden is taking our nation backwards instead of forwards.
Mr. Biden was not acting in the best interests of the American people by severing a major vein in our nation's economy. The People's Republic of China has an edge in the solar-panel industry, which will already cause a problem with the prospect of our nation's solar-panel industry creating new jobs for Americans as Mr. Biden uses his executive authority to promote companies in this same industry. Ellie Bufkin's article titled "Skepticism remains as Biden promises surge of green energy jobs" explains the consequences that our nation is going to suffer as a result of Mr. Biden's assault on the American fossil-fuel industry. His domestic policies in this regard are not going to do the people of Alaska any good, because they get six months straight of nighttime and solar panels will be futile to them during that extended period of no sunlight.
My response to Mr. Biden's actions is that I see no reason why he cannot leave the fossil-fuel industry alone while he signs executive orders to promote the green-energy industry here in our nation. Our nation had a spike in unemployment as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic last year, and Mr. Biden is only compounding the problem. He is not living in reality. Americans whom his actions have adversely affected are speaking up against him as shown in the video below.
A Laid-Off Keystone XL Pipeline Worker Neal Crabtree Speaks Out Against Joe Biden Canceling The Keystone XL Pipeline
In the interview above, Mr. Crabtree reports that the Keystone XL Pipeline is not increasing the amount of oil that is coming into the United States of America but rather facilitating its transportation into our nation. That is, it cut the costs of moving oil from Canada into our nation, and it has created thousands of jobs for the American people. Mr. Biden is taking the same domestic policy that President Barack Obama implemented during his tenure in the Oval Office and expecting different results, which is completely illogical on Mr. Biden's part.
I'm a moderate Independent who voted for President Trump in 2016 and 2020, and I feel more and more admiration every day for people like Dr. Lyle Rapacki who continue their mission for election integrity as described in my article titled "Biden Supporters Are Beginning to Have Regrets." You can watch the video below to find out what the latest developments are regarding a forensic audit for election integrity that is underway in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Further Developments In The Forensic Audit In Maricopa County, Arizona Are Underway
A total of 16 states have legislatures who believe that their electoral process was compromised last November. If the forensic audit in Maricopa County, Arizona were to uncover evidence that President Trump truly won the state of Arizona and a domino effect were to ensue with the other above-cited 15 states as a result, causing the 2020 American presidential election to be overturned and for President Trump to receive a second term in the Oval Office, it would be the best thing that could ever happen to our nation. In that event, President Trump would immediately reinitate the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline and put our nation's economy on a pathway to recovery. Dr. Rapacki's noble mission reminds me of the lyrics of the song below.
The Song Titled "Save The Country" By The Fifth Dimension
4. Americans Are Fighting Back Against Joe Biden's Actions Regarding The Keystone XL Pipeline
Attorney generals from six different states here in our nation have signed and submitted a letter to Mr. Biden to oppose his cancellation of the Keystone XL Pipeline. Jeffery Martin's article titled "Biden Climate Actions Get Pushback From Some Energy States, Others Silent" gives details of this collective pushback. Senator John Cornyn has also voiced his disapproval of Mr. Biden's decision to scrap the Keystone XL Pipeline by executive order. You can watch Senator Cornyn's verbal objection to it in the video below.
Senator John Cornyn Expresses His Disapproval Of Joe Biden's Scrapping Of The Keystone XL Pipeline
In his speech above, an important point that Senator Cornyn makes is that Mr. Biden's decision to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline is going to make our nation dependent upon OPEC dictatorships for our oil and gasoline and this same dependence will cause a risk to our national security inasmuch as the tyrants who control these nations will be able to use the oil and gasoline we import from them as a bargaining chip to influence our foreign policy. Senator Cornyn has every right to be peeved about Mr. Biden's action to sign an executive order to end the Keystone XL Pipeline, because Senator Cornyn is from Texas and his state stands the most to lose from Mr. Biden's very dumb decision.
5. My Conclusion To This Topic
The Keystone XL Pipeline is not threatening our environment. In fact, its construction and its activation have actually improved the quality of our nation's air inasmuch as less and less crude oil has to be transported to its destinations by train. Mr. Biden's misconception that the Keystone XL Pipeline was going to turn our whole nation into another Love Canal is very unfounded.
What is so outrageous about Mr. Biden's decision to sign an executive order to end the Keystone XL Pipeline is that he never even talked with anyone about it who had a stake in it. Canada is going to take a major hit to its economy because of his decision, but he never contacted Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau before he signed the executive order. Thousands of Americans are losing their jobs because of his decision, but he never discussed his decision with anybody in the oil or gasoline industry here in our nation who would be adversely affected by his decision.
Mr. Biden has his own agenda, and he does not genuinely care about the American people. Even his supporters are now having second thoughts about having voted for him in the 2020 American presidential election, because many of them have lost their jobs as a result of his decision to scrap the Keystone XL Pipeline.
If you read my article titled "Joe Biden's Tentative Presidency May Be Short-Lived," then you know that House Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene submitted Articles of Impeachment against Mr. Biden one day after he was sworn into office. Some Americans may believe that House Representative Taylor Greene's actions to seek the impeachment and the removal of Mr. Biden from the Oval Office is merely a knee-jerk reaction on her part. However, when you consider how many reckless decisions Mr. Biden has already made in the short time that he has occupied the White House, it should be no surprise that more and more lawmakers on Capitol Hill are going to find House Representative Taylor Greene's mission to rid the White House of him to be more and more attractive as time marches on. Former Senator Kamala Harris will not even have to lift a finger to get him out of her way in her plot to move up to the presidency by whatever means she can think of.
