There's a Lot of Colluding; I Say, I Say (Part 1)

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

"There's a whole lotta, I say, I say...a whole lotta colludin' going on 'round here." - Foghorn Leghorn

"There's a whole lotta, I say, I say...a whole lotta colludin' going on 'round here." - Foghorn Leghorn

A Whole Lot of Colluding!

Imagine if you will, a dossier written all about Washington D.C. and D.C. insiders!

What would it look like?

We know it would be thick!

We know the content would be, 'full-of-it', all on its own; sadly, not a single bogus, made up, shocking, imaginary filler, would be required (as was the case with the bogus dossier used to go after Donald Trump!)

Well, let's get down to business.

It is beginning to look as if...

everyone in Washington D.C., (a.k.a. - the swamp) with the exception of Donald Trump, was doing some form of colluding!

I guess the new guy wasn't privy to the memo! (but then...why would he be, he was to receive all blame, all finger-pointing) he was to be the scapegoat, the target.....not that the swamp will ever stop trying to make it be so!

For me, it is beginning to look as if...

  • Hillary and company were the actual ones, colluding with Russia
  • Unscrupulous strategizing and colluding was taking place, within the Democratic National Committee, in order to stop Trump
  • The Never-Trumpers (from both Parties) were doing their own colluding, conniving and conspiring to finish Trump, however they could get there, they were willing to go there...

Trump/Clinton Presidential Debate 2016

Take out the outsider, take out Trump

I'll admit it, I was one of those thinking, yes, we need a different approach, but must it be, Donald Trump?

Why him, is he the best we can do?

Now any reluctance I may have once had, is long gone, because I've seen the change...for the better!

It is all about principle for me now.

Trump has now been in office for nearly a year and the majority of that time, he has been under the scrutiny of both political parties and pretty much everyone in Washington D.C.

All of this time, he has been under the scrutiny of the mainstream media, they've refused to give him a single break, offering up more accusations than accuracy or fairness, in their reporting.

They aren't in the business of simply reporting the news and they haven't been, not for a long time now!

They are not unbiased, they are political and they do pick favorites and President Donald Trump, most definitely, is not on their 'List of Favorite Things'.

They've become mission-oriented, not news-oriented and their mission...

Take out the outsider, take out Trump!

After months of not having a single day, without hearing of Trump or his family and/or members of his team, in collusion, with Russia...

After months of not going a day, without hearing of a Russian objective, turned into a triumph; getting Trump into office.

After months of hearing about the delectable dossier, that would take down a President.....the truth has started to come out, first with a slow trickle and now it's flooding out, all over Washington and throughout the land.

Working against the will of the People

It is infuriating enough, knowing that the people's choice for President, Donald J. Trump, has not been given a fair chance to succeed, not since day one!

It is even more infuriating, knowing that Trump hasn't been given a fair chance, while knowing that many have been working against the President of the United States, therefore, against the best interest of the American people.

If possible, it even gets worse than all of that, knowing...they just don't care!

It is looking as if...

A few individuals, perhaps many individuals, cared/care so deeply and so passionately, not about this Country, but about keeping an outsider out of D.C., out of the White House and out of their way, that they didn’t give a second thought about who they conspired with, consorted with, what they had to do, they just did not care.

They've never considered who could be hurt in the process or of any jeopardy they could be placing this Country or Americans in.

Their only care, their only focus.....holding Power and keeping it!

Who knows all of the reasons for such behavior, but the American people are the real losers, as a result of all of this bad behavior, coming out of D.C.!

We the People put a lot of time into choosing our Representatives; men and women whom we feel will not only have our best interest at heart, but will always have America’s back.

We trust them at their word!

Sometimes, we get it right, but we often get it wrong.

Sometimes, it is difficult to tell the difference between actors in Hollywood and those we've chosen to represent us in Washington.

However, I must say, the acting is often much more convincing, when it's coming out of our Capital City...just saying!

We hire these people, expecting they do a job to the best of their ability.

The best of their ability should always insure that our best interest is first and foremost in all decisions, votes, legislation, etc.

  • Too often, they let us down.
  • Too often they are only looking out for their own best interest.
  • Too often, they take advantage of our trust.
  • Too often, they endanger this Republic.

If you've never before given a thought to there being an ugly underbelly in D.C., if you've never suspected an Establishment, Network, Deep State, it what you will...

How about now?

Not a single one of the devious dug-in devils in D.C., ever in their wildest dreams, expected the American People to hire an Outsider!

But, we did!

Power to the People!

Enough of the American people already suspected that an establishment had not only formed, but was festering some-kind-of-ugly, in our Nation's Capital!

They knew of no other way to break it up and work toward ending the ugly out of control problem...than to bring in someone, not having any part in outsider!

While many of us desired a much different direction, we were reluctant about the person chosen to take us there.

So, many of us went kicking and screaming with the nomination of Donald Trump.

Some just knew that the timing was right, for someone exactly like Donald Trump!

Trump Dossier - "A bunch of nothing"

Long ago, before the public's daily doses of, "Trump's colluding with Russia", "Dossier Gate", "Was the election stolen" and so on and so forth.

Forget Trump's daily denials, forget an entire Trump team and associates denying all of it.

Forget all of that!

Bob Woodward, of the famed Woodward and Bernstein team that brought down Richard Nixon, commented on this. His words, "the dossier on Trump and Russia and collusion is a garbage document" and... "it should never have been presented at an intelligence briefing."

Throughout all of this, Dennis Kucinich has consistently been saying, "Trump and Russia collusion is a bunch of nothing!"

But, this has done nothing to slow down the D.C. Machine or the MSM Maelstrom!

No, not even a little bit.

It has been full steam ahead, a partnership that could not be stopped, a match made in.....shall we say...The Swamp?

A partnership...which exists to prop up Hillary Clinton and destroy Donald Trump!

DNI declassifies Brennan notes and CIA memos (from 2016)

C.I.A. Director John Brennan’s notes on briefing Barack Obama:

“Approved by Hillary Clinton a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”

Nah, that's where I disagree with pregor.

Liberals hate conservatives so much they'd rather accept the Looney left leadership than give credit for anything to the right.

Liberalism has failed everywhere it has been in control but rather than move to the right they move further left. So There really is no difference between liberals and the left or else liberals wouldn't tolerate them in leadership.

The "liberals" pregor talks about have no principles except to oppose any conservative idea, they don't care if socislist take over their party as long as it isn't conservative ideology.

Angie.....Terrific, that you included the link. I actually caught this Gowdy delight as it unfolded on air. If I was fortunate enough to be in the Hall of Congress as some of my Heros speak (especially when they question corrupt politicians & put them directly on the hot seat) I would walk right up to them and hug them! Besides Trey, I'm quite impressed by Jim Jordan as well.

Switching topics: We really need to thank the Dems trio of irrational, demented, cuckoo birdies; Nancy, Elizabeth and MAD Maxine, who are doing a near perfect job of denigrating, humiliating & literally destroying their own party, obliterating any possible ounce of their credibility & respect and making things much more secure for us......Thanks ladies. You are the epitome of ignorance & embarrassment. You're even beginning to tell one another to Shut Up! Good Job!!

More of that boldness+++ .... for your viewing pleasure!

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 23, 2018:

He is bold, no doubt, but we need more boldness, he (and the handful that actually give a damn) can't do it alone.

Suzie from Carson City on June 22, 2018:

Although we're talking about the absolute dream candidate to "decimate" ANY candidate, right or left....I can't imagine him wanting the worst job available in 2020. I couldn't "think" like a politician (that's a very good thing!) but ever since he announced leaving and going back into a private law practice, my curiosity has run wild. I don't know...IF by some remote chance he's eyeing the POTUS scenario, would it be to his benefit to already have vacated his seat in Congress or to remain? Is what he is doing, the Modus operandus to set one's self up for announcing a run for POTUS?

It's the worse thing he could do to himself and the very best thing EVER done for us. If he is even WILLING, that would certainly show he does have the intestinal fortitude you feel he lacks.

Frankly, influential and highly respected as he is, he's only ONE man, One congressman albeit his strong influence. Some of what frustrates a lot of in lack of "action" to back the speeches.....well, he can't do much against constant opposition.

On the other hand....he may be quite serious about exiting the world of Politics entirely. Perhaps he's had beyond his saturation point of all of the grotesque egregiousness. That is disappointing for us, to say the least, but who would blame him? He has a lovely family & his kids are in their teen years. He can make a hell of a lot more $$$ in his own practice and much more time with his family.

I don't know where I heard this or read this, but I do know that he was literally BEGGED by numerous comrades to run last election campaign and he did not fold for a second. Does that mean he never would? Or, that he has his own plan?

Just one more thing....I do believe it takes guts to get up before peers and thrash their blatant stupidity and irrational political games, & shame their actions, without stuttering, hesitating or sugar-coating a single statement! Some of those sans-testicles, butt-kissing liberals are too stupid to form a complete sentence, much less make the crowd sit up & take note! Time will give the answers.

The Logician from then to now on on June 22, 2018:

Paula, you are so right in your description of Gowdy, yet one thing you didn’t mention was guts. Does he have what it takes to put all those qualities you mentioned in the Whitehouse? He didn’t run for president, probably the one man who could have desimated Hiliary.

But who had the guts to run? A man with practically none of Gowdy’s qualities and he won! Now Gowdy is running but not for any office. He just doesn't have the stomach for it I guess. He is one in a million, too rare a leader to lose yet he’s moving on, which makes me wonder if he really is who he appears to be. Or maybe he just realizes it’s futile to fight the swamp.

Hey Ang...all this & HE CAN DANCE too!! LOL Google "Trey Gowdy in Boogie dance contest." LOL

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 22, 2018:

Ang.....As I explained to you, girlfriend.....I expressed my adoration for Trey so often & sincerely, my friends were calling me "Treyla Gowdy!" I confess he threw me for a loop with his public comments about the "Spy" & F.B.I controversy, I reacted with a subtle stumble. I'm a happy camper he has redeemed himself. I forgive his slight gaff because I do love him. He's extremely influential. People hang on his every I am sensitive to his public statements.

Keep the fires burning!

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 22, 2018:

Oh believe me I know. I was a Cruz supporter and hated how he allowed Trump to minimize him. (Trump knew he had to, Cruz was his biggest challenge) I wanted Cruz and Rubio to have each other’s back....they didn’t. I was doing a lot of yelling at my t.v. and radio during those days.

But, I’ve come around and I back our President 100%.

Now, if we can get more Conservatives in, in a supporting role......goodbye swamp, hello Government of, by and for the people.

*That last line is a good line (if I say so myself) We need a bumper sticker. :)

The Logician from then to now on on June 22, 2018:

Nothing demonstrates more how these loons prefer remaining a minority than throwing away the opportunity to really make a difference in that last election for a ghost of an opportunity to win their own self aggrandizement. Do you realize the statement it would have made if real conservatives United behind one candidate in 2016? Answer, there are no real conservatives who can make a difference in the Republican Party when you come right down to it.

Bigger numbers? More of that same equals nothing.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 22, 2018:

They are there, outside the swamp, waiting for us to give them the bigger numbers required.

The Logician from then to now on on June 22, 2018:

AB, well since we virtually agree on most everything it’s good that we disagree on something. But are they really standing alone and why is that? After the last election they all ran against each other splitting the vote so only Trump could win? If they united behind one of their ranks there is no question conservatism would have won the day and Trump would have dropped out of the primary but they were all more interested in their own selfish hunger for power, Cruz and Rubio especially. Either they care to give conservatism lip service only or they will never be able to effect change and will always be “standing alone” which seems to be where they are happiest because they gave away their one greatest opportunity to unite and win the presidency. Trump won because of these loons who pretend to be conservatives. Trump is a pragmatist but that is better than so called conservative politicians who refuse to walk the walk when it really counts.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 22, 2018:

We’ll have to disagree on this T.

There’s a handful, members of the Freedom Caucus for example, that are standing alone, outside of the swamp, for the people.

The People do not put many true Conservatives into office and that’s unfortunate.

We got it right putting Trump in, now if we can just get more Representatives...with a backbone in, we may overcome the swamp once and for all.

The Logician from then to now on on June 21, 2018:

I like Gowdy too but he’s a lawyer and too much like the rest of our do nothing representatives. Tell me, he’s leaving right? He’s a lawyer, right? What does he have to lose by simply saying “As a lawyer and from what I’ve seen of the evidence this person should be removed from office and indicted for (this or that) and for the life of me I don’t know why it hasn’t happened.” Painting a picture as he has of wrongful things surrounding people he has investigated and never demanding justice for practices he obviously is appalled by just makes no sense to me if he is to “stand apart” from the rest of the swamp. It’s obvious all these congressmen care more about what they have to lose in betraying the swamp than doing away with it and that goes for Cruz and Gowdy as well from my viewpoint no matter how much I may agree with what they say. They just won’t get the job done.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 21, 2018:

I think Trey Gowdy stands apart, much like Ted Cruz stands apart....I think he deserves credit for having a great gift of communication and clarity.

No, I do not think that Hillary’s ties to Benghazi is the only reason she isn’t President today. There is a long, long list and most of her offenses would have put anybody else in jail long ago. She belongs in jail.

The Logician from then to now on on June 21, 2018:

I listened to what Gowdy said about spies a couple of times and I listened to him tell Fox News 3 weeks ago the FBI was doing what they should be doing and should be commended, then after the IG report came out he’s skewering the FBI for how and what they did. On the spy question Gowdy was talking generically and said he’s never met with nor talked to President Trump, so really he didn’t know enough of the details about a spy being inserted and why (it was to plant information about Russia to make it look like it came from the campaign).

AB, it’s arguable that Benghazi had anything to do with Hiliary losing the election but it’s a fact it wasn’t the only reason. But I’m puzzled that you would think that losing something, the election, she never had to begin with is any kind of punishment or accountability for any of her transgressions.

Next time I visit the prison I’ll let the prisoners know losing an election could have been an alternative punishment they gave up by not running for office!

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 21, 2018:

Hi Paula -

Yes, I heard that too, while he was doing Morning talk shows, I believe....

I thought, what the heck is this all about. Still wondering about that...

Trey is 'smarter than the average bear',(can't forget Yogi Bear) so we may be surprised in the end.

All of Hillary's dirty deeds will catch up with her in time, look at what's been happening with her hubby lately. Expendable!!

Suzie from Carson City on June 21, 2018:

Angie....Yes, Foghorn is quite a guy. However, I'm loyal to "Daffy." both of them are more intelligent & honest than any politician in our insane government. They certainly make more sense.

I thought I had found a possible exception to the D.C Gang of Thugs in Trey Gowdy. I listened to his every word for months and admit I was genuinely impressed. He does seem to be a "good" man and a responsible, "for the people," Congressman..........But (there always appears to be that "But!") His public words just prior to the most current, were a serious jolt to my confidence in him.

I'm referring to the tongue-lashing he gave Trump, in terms of POTUS claiming the libs injected a "spy" into his campaign. No doubt you know this disappointment I'm talking about. He (Gowdy) dashed my faith in him somewhat.

Tsad is onto the all-talk/no-action. I agree and it's so damned frustrating, we can't avoid our on-again, off-again allegiance. How many congressman boldly claimed Hillary was treated with kid gloves, was/IS 100% guilty of the accusations against her, the single-most corrupt politician, & were very condemning toward her and about her?.....but, that disgusting witch ("Crooked Hillary") is out & about, writing books, giving speeches, doing interviews and let's not forget, whining, crying, acting the fool & what she does Best....LYING. So, in fact, where's the follow-thru? Why does what they "say".....perpetually remain, what they "say!"....and boom, another busted balloon.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 21, 2018:

A lot.......Hillary is NOT President. :)

The Logician from then to now on on June 21, 2018:

And what’s he say their going to do about it? Nothing, he’s just another ringleader of the circus of congressional hearings - if he could do anything about anything he wouldn’t be leaving. He showed there was no doubt Hiliary was to blame for Benghazi... what did that get him?

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on June 21, 2018:

Good Morning Tsad -

There's a handful that are trying to change things in D.C., I think Trey Gowdy is one of them. (although he will not be sticking around) :(

I shared this video because of the way he can take a lot of complex loose ends, tie them up and present them so that there is no doubt in anyone's mind... there was a whole lot of colluding, conspiring, scheming, blatant bias......

The Logician from then to now on on June 21, 2018:

Gowdy has a lot to say but, i didn’t hear any appeal to congress or government agencies to do anything about what he describes out of his mouth. Did you? This is the problem with congress and their commissions and investigations, no matter what is found or demonstrated nothing is ever done about it because congressmen and women aren’t interested in results as much as they are grandstanding for the cameras and making it sound like they are doing something when they NEVER do and never will for reasons that have nothing to do with the rule of law or justice or the people, or they’d probably say the peons.

I am looking forward to reading your most recent article.

Yes, it was pathetic what was done to Sarah Palin from the moment she entered into the spotlight.

Sadly, they are doing the same thing to Sarah Huckabee Sanders right now.

She can handle it, Trump can certainly handle it and as you said, more and more people are becoming aware of their tactics and how they operate.

I actually saw a pic of the story you outlined and it was made to appear as if Trump royally screwed up. I already knew (the rest of the story) but it never ceases to amaze, the lengths they'll go.

Betty A F from Florida on November 07, 2017:

Excellent article A B Williams,

I actually stopped watching the MSM back in 08 when they did to Sara Palin what that they're failing to do with President Trump. With Trump, they've pulled no stops. The more they push their obvious agenda, the more people are becoming aware of their nonsense. They've accomplished one thing though. More and more people are waking up to just how intertwined our government, Hollywood, and big corporations are. They work together to get the person in the top office of our nation that they want. When they don't get their way, (which almost never happens) they come together and throw non-stop hissyfits, and it's as annoying as a spoiled child kicking and screaming on a toy-store floor because he or she was denied a toy.

I woke up this morning and while I was having my coffee, I watched a video by Mark Dice. He showed a clip of President Trump in Japan with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

They were standing over a koi pond feeding the koi a little fish food, and, (the way the MSM depicted it,) Trump suddenly and rudely dumped his entire box containing fish food into the pond, and likely killed them! They literally cut out the part of the clip where the Prime Minister poured his food into the pond just before President Trump did, and it was actually not a huge amount of food. It seems silly even trying to describe how the media tried to paint Trump as being "bad" because he didn't feed fish properly. It's beyond ridiculous.

President Trump is heading to South Korea today, I can't help but wonder what the mainstream news will report about his visit. It will likely be something along the lines of, "While trying to enlist the support of President Moon Jae-in with the United States efforts against South Korea, Trump dropped an egg roll into Moon Jae-in's lap. In North Korea, the dropping of an egg roll traditionally represents a call to war."

I honestly don't expect less than ridiculous reporting from most of the mainstream media.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on November 03, 2017:

More "damning evidence" which is always excused away (especially when it comes to the Clintons).

I can see excuses used, placing doubts in the minds of their biggest Supporters.

What I don't get is how quickly their Supporters label "damning evidence" Fake News, without any desire to want to disprove it or to get to the bottom of it.

Ken Burgess from Florida on November 03, 2017:

As I often state, I no longer watch MSM news, but I do on occasion catch clips of it on YouTube, and wow, was this powerful... a list of damning evidence so extensive its hard to digest it all.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on November 02, 2017:

Alright Ken. I hope people get this perspective. We should all get, both here and in the EU, that "necessity" is the call of all tyrants.

Perhaps he even fosters debate.

Ken Burgess from Florida on November 02, 2017:

@Oz I hate to tell you this, but your opinions do not represent the rest of the world outside the U.S. ...not even close.

In fact, I am rather surprised with just how much support there is for what Trump says coming from a growing majority of people throughout Europe and other parts of the world.

They share with me some startling things that are going on in their countries that ARE very "Nazi" like... people being dragged out of their homes and arrested for something they posted online that doesn't fit the PC guidelines in the country.... refugees from war torn Ukraine being denied any assistance because they aren't the right type of refugee, they don't fit the race/religion those in control of the EU want to help... but the EU is wiling to tear apart any nation willing to be on good relations with Russia.

There is a lot going on in the world, and in this country, that you seem ignorant of in Australia.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on November 01, 2017:

Yes Eric, look what Trump has managed to accomplish in just a few short it!

What I don't love is the lack of recognition for a job well done, despite the Establishment and the MSM working against him (against us!!) every step of the way.

If they'd just leave him be, our Country could be making even more of a comeback.

Let him do the job the people have hired him to do.

We need him taking care of Business and working Overtime!

If activist Judges/ Mayors/Governors would stop undermining his every effort, all of our cities could be safer and I think we can all agree that would be a wonderful thing!

When ALL in D.C. only there taking up space and collecting a paycheck are gone-gone...that will be a happy, happy day!

I love this Country! I feel so Blessed to be living in this Republic, all while realizing that not all feel the same way.

There are many being taught to hate this Country, to be embarrassed about living in this Country, to apologize for this Country. They have no interest whatsoever in "Keeping this Republic." They don't even understand what that means and that's scary!

We are on the right track, but there is still much to be done!

I don't get it. Ten months and::: No section 8 housing funds reduced. No planned parent hood funds reduced. Korea now in talks. No title one funds reduced for children. The VA being cleaned up. A budget plan that works. Tax reductions for me and my middle class folk. Actually better relations with with Nafta countries. A hold back on China that hurts our domestic production. The issue with Ukraine abated. Some kick ass in Afghanistan and aggression with Syria showing results.

What the heck is all the nasty about? We are really starting to drain the swamp. I am glad to see the republican politicians getting the hell out of the way. My life is great in this Representative republic.

Mr Bueno from Cambridge, UK on November 01, 2017:

I've found a quote, it seems to explain some of what I've heard here, I'll share it with you....

“But it was only when the editor of a major environmental magazine sent me what he called “a remarkable essay” [regarding chemtrails] in the hope of persuading me to take up the cause that I decided I could ignore it no longer. The “remarkable essay” was garbage: a long series of disconnected facts tacked together to create what appears to be a coherent narrative, but that bears as much relationship to reality as a speech by Donald Trump. On a bad day.”

But what I want to know now is, what does the good President Trump have to do with Chemtrails?

What are you talking about Oz?

What does redneckian White folk mean?

Stirred up a small army of brown shirts?

Wow, you are a walking, talking cliche', if you can add something substantive to this conversation, then by all means do! Otherwise, take all of your crude, ugliness somewhere else!

Andrew Petrou from Brisbane on October 31, 2017:

Yes everyone honest knows republicans are now standing up against the Don. This is seen as fake news by the basket of deplorables. It's a big basket of hard core redneckian white folk who want the good old days of the confederates.

Concerned honest republicans have to do the tough legal job to stop the USA from imploding.

The Don has stirred up a small army of brownshirt type folk who are ready to use violence if and when the Don's turn arrives.

Why does having a differing opinion constitute bias? And how did you come to that conclusion that McCain hates Trump? He never said as much, just that the health care plan didn't represent his constituents. Claiming he hates him seems pretty darned biased.

Sounds like you have plenty of bias there...

I've got to go to work.

Hi Eric!

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 31, 2017:

Is it JOC or Valeant? Maybe I'll just call you JV.

I'm not sure what Mueller's game is...but, I am sure it is far more complex than any of us realize. Hopefully, he does the right thing in the end!

What I do know is that we have the right person in the White House right now. It was supposed to be Hillary, but WE didn't agree...we don't do 'Decrees' very well, here in America! Ya'll can blame everyone and his brother for Hillary's defeat, but the People decided this!

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on October 31, 2017:

On reading up here I am quite certain that the accused was dealing with the Ukraine. I reckon Mueller don't know that that is not part of Russia and we were hell bent on helping them out with anything but troops.

What crazy swamp.

JOC from Syracuse, NY on October 31, 2017:

This has nothing to do with support for current elected officials. The DC corruption exists and needs a fix, no doubt.

What this is about though, is the confirmed fact that a hostile government worked to influence our election and an investigation into who may have been involved. I cannot understand why wouldn't you want an answer to that question if you're all about America being great? If anyone wants to take a shot at that, I'm all ears.

When you attack a former marine, who is GOP, appointed by a Republican who was appointed by the guy you are trying to defend, it gets a bit surreal. Mueller is a guy with a lifetime of service to the United States. Let's keep that in mind when deciding who's credibility we should believe. Him, or the draft-dodging philanderer.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 31, 2017:

Oz, JOC ya'll are caught up in the D.C. Machine and the Main Street maelstrom.

It is understandable, they are very powerful things.

You need to get off the beaten path and take some scenic side roads. It's amazing the things you can uncover and discover.

Plain and simple, The American People had enough, had our fill! We want our Capital back and we want Main Street back. We were never going to have that with more of the same old, same old.....Hillary Clinton and Company!

What's happening right now, is the 'Machine' fighting back, they'll not go quietly, they'll not give up their power so easily.

Have you by chance seen the new controversial Democratic commercial?

It is disgusting and desperate.......and it is oh so predictable!!!

Thank God there are still enough of us that understand what 'making America great again' means.

It has everything to do with We the People taking back control of this Country, our Republic, nothing more, nothing less!

JOC from Syracuse, NY on October 31, 2017:

Mueller is a Republican and former marine, saying he's working for Clinton knowing those two facts is counter-intuitive.

As for the dossier, the initial research was paid for by a member of the GOP running against Trump in the primary. Regardless of where all the funding came from, it is the job of the FBI to investigate potential claims of potentially compromised government officials. Comey could not discuss anything about the dossier in his testimony to Congress while Mueller was investigating the details. Certainly, the source of the funding casts doubt on the legitimacy of the findings, but that does not completely prove them to be false, as the Trump administration is trying to sell with their recent line of propaganda.

As for how Mueller got appointed, it comes down to Trump literally saying he fired Comey with the Russia Investigation in mind, on national television. Comey says as much in his testimony. I struggle to understand how Congress hasn't issued Obstruction charges using Trump's own admission against him.

I would very much enjoy getting your sources on who Mueller is investigating, such as Breitbart and other right-wing news agencies. That sounds more conspiracy theory than fact.

As for why this investigation needs to happen, it's about investigating the potential of our elected president being compromised by a foreign government. If he's innocent of that, he should have no concerns. But there have been questions raised by research (which cannot be dispelled solely based on who funded it), by the numerous contacts of his campaign associates with Russians, by many of those associates lying about those contacts on security forms (which should be a felony by the way if Congress wasn't so spineless), by Trump's business ties and interests to Russia, and by the fact that Russia interfered in the election to aide Trump.

Andrew Petrou from Brisbane on October 31, 2017:

It's ironic the "swamp" is now being drained of Donald's cronies. What's about to happen is entirely obvious to all honest people.

Donald is also in contempt of court many times in tweets alone. His turn will come. Unfortunately for all the planet by hitting the nuclear trigger and starting a war he will be able to claim "martial law" and start arresting people (if he gets the chance).

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 30, 2017:

Ken, you've laid it all out perfectly.

JOC, with bated breath, I await your response.

Ken Burgess from Florida on October 30, 2017:

"So any attempted linking of Mueller to Clinton is a reach, at best."

I think you are misinformed, there is clear connection between Mueller and the Clintons.

Given former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony that there is no collusion between President Trump and Russia to do with the campaign, the scope of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation should have been dramatically narrowed to simply the leaks and the Obama administration unmaskings that led to this witch hunt of Russia/Trump ties in the first place.

But Mueller has refused to investigate those leaks, which are one of the central reasons he was even appointed as Special Counsel, he has focused instead on going after the people surrounding Trump. So why indict former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and a business associate Monday on charges unrelated to the 2016 campaign?

Was this in the realm of what he was appointed to investigate?

The Washington Post revealed last Tuesday that the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee jointly paid for that infamous “dossier” full of Russian disinformation against Donald Trump.

Mueller who, on his appointment took independent control of the investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 elections, was only put in that position after one-time mentee James Comey revealed under oath that he deliberately leaked a potentially privileged memo to the press specifically to ensure the appointment of a special counsel.

The ploy worked. Rosenstein, who was handling the investigation because Sessions had already recused himself based on his involvement in the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, came under immense political pressure to appoint a special counsel.

Since then one of the persons he hired to aid in his investigation is former prosecutor Jeannie Rhee who in 2015 performed work for the Clinton Foundation, defending it from FOIA requests related to Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Since the appointment, they not only focused on investigating Russian connections, or the accusations on Manafort and others unrelated to the election, they are investigating all ‘right-wing’ and conspiratorial websites that they feel boosted the new president and were sharply critical of Hillary Clinton.

In particular, websites like Breitbart News and InfoWars that they want to believe were in some way related to Russia’s effort to interfere in the US election.

This is an investigation meant to go after those that supported Trump, and those who still support Trump, it is what it is… a fight between the ‘establishment’ and anyone who supports Trump and his efforts. There are a lot of people who have done many illegal things, many things against the best interests of America, and the American people. Trump has exposed some of it, and if they don’t shut down Trump and his supporters soon, a great deal more could be exposed, and a great many more people may want to hold those corrupt and criminal elements in D.C. accountable.

JOC from Syracuse, NY on October 30, 2017:

Anyone can make a case for Hillary, she was a terrible figurehead for the Democrats, extremely flawed. If her crimes get exposed, that's a win for the country also.

But a simple search will reveal his inauguration claims as having the largest crowd size ever, even though it was clearly not the case. He proved to be a liar on the opening day of his term. And completely undermined Spicer in the process.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 30, 2017:

Hi JOC - It's nice to hear from you!

I have no intentions of trying to tie Hillary in with anyone or anything, with Hillary there's always a trail of evidence. (no need for piece meal work as goes on into trying to end Trump)

As for Trump and crowd sizes, I know that here in Florida, if you weren't out and in line early, you didn't get in. I know a lot of people that never made it into any of his rallies and others that did, but only after long waits. Don't know why he would have been lying about crowd sizes, not familiar with that story.

Just an observation, go back and look at your words, you've made my case against Hillary and the worst thing you could come up with on Trump...was that he over exaggerated crowd sizes.

Come on over, leave the dark side,'re so close! ;)

JOC from Syracuse, NY on October 30, 2017:

But as an aside, I have close family that feel exactly the same way you do in your article. That the media and us Democrats haven't tried to give Trump a chance since day one.

There are a lot of us who agree that Hillary was faulty at best, crooked most likely. Defending her is like trying to keep the Titanic from sinking.

But neither candidate has much in terms of morality. The disgust opponents to Hillary have for her faults is mirrored in the faults of Trump, which are substantial as well.

I was interested to see how an outsider like Trump was going to combat the corrupt politicians in Washington, D.C., but then he lost me. He lost me on day one, when he sent Spicer out to lie to my face about record crowd sizes.

I could have tried to get behind him, but not when he tried to sell a blatant falsehood just to stroke his fragile ego. That's not a strong warrior of the people. It's an insecure narcissist who aligned himself with the corrupt liars already in residence in the capitol.

JOC from Syracuse, NY on October 30, 2017:

You do realize that Mueller was appointed by Rosenstein, who was appointed by Trump? And that the only reason for the special investigator was that Trump committed a fairly obvious Obstruction of Justice offense when he fired Comey and then proceeded to admit that he did it with the Russia investigation in mind to Lester Holt on national television.

So any attempted linking of Mueller to Clinton is a reach, at best.

breakfastpop on October 30, 2017:

Turning this investigation into s sideshow is hideous. If an indictment is coming, just do it. Of course, Mueller himself may be complicit in all of this because he was head of the FBI when Hillary was doing her damage. Hillary, Holder, Comey, Lynch would all look stunning in orange jumpsuits. I can't wait, but I may have to.

Tim Truzy from U.S.A. on October 29, 2017:

Well, Abwilliams. It's you and people like Ken ... You guys are not judgmental. You respect your fellow Americans right to think about things differently without putting folk down - That's how a good conversation evolves and people think more critically about the topic.

Really, would you or I know exactly how to tell a spouse that her husband died on your watch? That had to tear the man apart.

Clinton has as many skeletons in her closet as a good horror story. Nobody is completely clean.

No, I don't like DJT, but I'm not going to stop praying that he surprises us and wind up being up there with Washington, Lincoln, Kenedy, Old Ike, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised when I read DJT went out of his way to meet with the Dems when his party would not move on health care. Maybe he just has problems articulating the words of unity; I'll give him a break. I wouldn't want his job for the world.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 29, 2017:

It's a start Tim - I think there are a lot of Voters just like you, turned off by the lackluster 'charm' of Trump, but now are wondering what the heck is going on! Why does this guy have such a huge target on his back? Why indeed?

The Dems have the same old, same old...I am hearing the names Elizabeth, Bernie and Good ole Joe. Okay! Also, hearing about a young, fresh and exciting Democratic up-and-comer.

Oh no, where have we heard that before?!? Yikes!

I'll take the crusty, uncouth Trump that seems to actually give a damn about this Republic of ours!

I may not have the pompoms out yet, but I may after tomorrow!

Tim Truzy from U.S.A. on October 29, 2017:

Abwilliams, Ken - Hi guys! Truly, I'm in agreement with you. I don't like Djt, never cared for HRC - if they got the goods on HRc, then she may get her jail time after all.

I've always said, if DJT could put away his W.W.E. delivery skills on the podium, he would be a better president. I don't want my president to fail, whether I like him or not. If people in the Don's camp played dirty, put them away, too, including DJT. If not, leave the man alone and let him do his job.

When I heard he spoke with Gen. Kelley as to how to proceed on the phone with the death of the soldiers, then tried to get it right, and got nothing but grief for it - my stomach turned. He's not perfect; he's only human.

Visiting the DjT station, Ken, Abwilliams - not quite to the train yet.

Andrew Petrou from Brisbane on October 29, 2017: didn't say that at all.

It's only hysteria or fear mongering that makes people say otherwise.

Angie B Williams (author) from Central Florida, USA on October 29, 2017:

Hi Paula, writing this drained me, I had to shut down in order to start fresh today.

I hear you, there comes a point where you just want to scream and say I'm done, so done!

But this is our Country and the swamp dwellers can't have it!

You think to yourself, now people will get it, how can they not? Look at the evidence piling up?

But then, someone like Oz, representative of many, brings us back to reality.

I've heard that Tale too Oz.......Pence will replace Trump and then Pence, being a good Christian man and all, will do the right thing by handing it all over to the deserving Hillary...

In a Lib's Dream!

Ken, I have to believe that the people that haven't paid much attention in the past are paying attention now! Many do not want to bothered by any of this, but sometimes, hurricanes, floods and fires show up in your front yard and then one has no choice but to face it.

I wonder who the scapegoat(s) will be? How many more lives will be turned upside down or destroyed before this is all said and done?

Andrew Petrou from Brisbane on October 29, 2017:

The actual reality as opposed to hysteria is that Mike Pence will of course replace Donald.

Ken Burgess from Florida on October 29, 2017:

It will be interesting to see how it all finishes...

How much of this could be playing games, how much of this is just politicians putting on a show, the media dragging issues out, giving the people something to argue over and 'believe in'?

How much is being held in reserve to sling out for public consumption right before the 2018 elections?

How bad is the corruption, before this very moment I never leant any credence at all to statements made like "Trump is going to be impeached and Hillary made President"...

Despite how incalculably improbable that seemed to me before this very moment, somehow it suddenly seems possible, and despite it being completely illegal, unsupported in any way by precedence, prudence, or political history... that it could be done, the media would support it, the D.C. criminals would support it, Universities all across the nation would rejoice, and it would succeed.

One has to consider this, when taking into account that we have a MSM that fabricates, falsifies, or taints with bias nearly everything they report, and then they defend it as fact, even when in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Take for instance this Hubpages community, are there people on here you feel are totally disconnected to the realities of this, and many other situations, well, they are the ones that would support Trump being ousted for no other reason than whatever the MSM says, and Clinton being put into office... and their numbers are probably tenfold what we see here in regions of the country like CA and much of the North East.

When people don't value (or even know) the Constitution, how the three branches work, what the process for removing a President consists of, or that only the Vice President is allowed to fill the position in the case of the President's removal... when they don't have a clue about any of this, or care, how easy would it be to convince them that putting Clinton in his place is the right thing to do?

That's how scary I think things have become, and how unstable our country is at this moment.

Andrew Petrou from Brisbane on October 28, 2017:

Are you aware that criminal charges are about to be enforced regarding the Dons campaign? Fake news too?

Suzie from Carson City on October 28, 2017:

a.b......I have restrained myself. Forced myself to not listen or watch for a while. I was getting close to imploding with garbage overload, frustration~~wanting to scream. I do appreciate you passing off some info here. At least I TRUST you!

Currently, the suspense is draining me. I never do well with waiting for results. Frankly, for a very long time, I haven't wanted anything more than to see the crooked, blatantly corrupt S.O.B's be knocked down....knocked down into the muck & slop they've created, where they belong. The American people are no longer who & what we were so many years ago when these career snakes began their games, lies & pay for play! Too much exposure now....research, focused scrutiny...BACK-STABBING. They need to be brought down and the good news is, they damned-sure will be.
