Roe V Wade, A Blessing or a Curse for Women Part 2 of 2

In this article we will look at the role of racism in the Abortion Industry, the claim that Planned Parenthood is the only place that poor and minority women can receive non-abortive medical health care such as mammograms, the belief that those who are Pro-life are only concerned about the unborn and not for children after they are born and their mothers, and whether they are sexualizing girls and young women therefore grooming them for sexual slavery.

Is the Abortion industry prying on African American women and other women of color to have abortions for the purpose of ethnic cleansing or not, and would defunding Planned Parenthood deny minority and poor women access to crucial health care such as a mammogram?

In an interview with Dr. Ben Carson, former Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon and former presidential candidate, on Fox News Channel's 'Your World" on Wednesday August 12, 2015, said that most of Planned Parenthood Clinics are in Black and other Minority neighborhoods in order to control the population. He pointed out the Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood believed in eugenics and did not care for Black people and other people of color (see link below on Margaret Sanger's racists ideology) This belief that Dr. Carson has about Planned Parenthood is not his only. Protectingblacklife.org., on their website shows a map of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics within walking distance of African American neighborhoods and Hispanic/Latino neighborhoods. (1)

According to supporters of Planned Parenthood defunding them would deny women health care services, however that is only true if you define health care services as abortion according to Democrats for Life of America. Planned Parenthood claims that they provide other health services for poor, vulnerable women not just abortions, however that is not the case especially if they live in rural areas. Remember the big controversary a few years ago when the Susan J. Komen Foundation decided to ditch Planned Parenthood? There were charges from various politicians that poor women would be denied mammograms and calls for boycotting of the Susan J. Foundation because of that so-called "fact". Well, it turns out that Planned Parenthood doesn't provide them. The fact is that the majority of mammograms and pap smears are done in non-abortion health care facilities not in abortion clinics such as Planned Parenthood. Furthermore, they provide programs for women who are of low income the ability to have them for free. I know this to be a fact because I have received such invitations for a free mammogram in the past and they were NOT from Planned Parenthood. (2)

Is it really true that Pro-Lifers only care about unborn children and is the Pro-Choice side promoting the sexualization of girls in young women grooming them for sexual abuse and exploitation and thus creating more clients available for abortions?

Abortion right proponents claim that Pro-lifers do not take into consideration the hard ships of poor women of color that drive them to have abortions, and that besides targeting abortion clinics like Planned Parenthood for shut down they try to make women who are seeking abortions feel guilty. The Pro-choice side claims that they propose three potential avenues to address issue on unplanned pregnancies that include prevention of unintended pregnancy, access to quality abortion care, and prenatal care and economic supports for women who continue their unintended pregnancies to term.

Oh, by the way, Pro-life Crisis Pregnancy Centers, contrary to the propaganda against them, offer these services also except for abortions of course. The women who come to these clinics come of their own volition-they are not dragged there kicking and screaming. Furthermore, they are not told, " O.K., now that you had the baby, you're on your own, good luck!", and then kick them out on the streets. They receive support, for both their babies and themselves, to help them get back on their feet so they and their children can live an abundant life. In Duluth where I live there is such a place- it's called Birth Right. (see the link below) Also, the church that I use to attend has a ministry for women who have decided to keep their babies where one of the members create a beautiful oak or pine baby dresser of heirloom quality and people from the church go shopping to buy baby items to fill up the dresser and to give to the mother. In both this ministry and the Pro-life Crisis Pregnancy centers and this church ministry they don't look down their noses at women who have unplanned out of wedlock pregnancies instead they embrace them with love and support. Is the Abortion Industry Grooming Young Women and Girls to be Sexually Abused and Exploited in Order to Increase Their Number of Clients?

According to the American Life League and the Right Scoop Planned Parenthood is exposing children as young as 10 years of age to pornographic illustrations in order to get them hooked on sex so that they will become future customers of theirs. Beginning and End has done extensive coverage on Planned Parenthood’s heavy involvement in the modern “sex ed" which involves comprehensive sexual education programs for elementary and junior high school aged children that encourages sexual activity. In many cases, parents are unaware of what is being taught to their children in schools.

There is a video out there that is sponsored by Planned Parenthood (the Planned Parenthood label is on the corner of the screen) staring an excited young woman named Laci Green who mentions the bestseller Fifty Shades of Grey and goes gaga over BDSM (bondage, domination, sadism and masochism). She is quick to talk about "certain rules" which should be followed by those who wish to partake in such activities. This video was paid for by the taxpayers, and not only that it is targeted to minors, or at best those who are barely of legal age. If it is actually true that this video was made with Planned Parenthood's blessing (anyone with video making technical experience could slap on a company's logo in order to make it looks like something they produced) they are attempting to sexualize children and making them vulnerable to victimization by pedophiles and human traffickers.

Naturally, Planned Parenthood would deny these allegations and I am not saying one way or another if they are true or not. There needs to be more investigation on the matter. I am including some links that the reader can check out for further information. (4)
