This Proud, Patriotic American Refuses to Conform to Leftist Ideology - I'll Not be Silent

Ignore the in-my-face obvious issues and lend all of my attention to unwarranted, groundless non-issues? Not happening!

i-havent-lost-my-filter-this-is-me

Non-conformist

I've often written of my faith, my patriotism, of my love of Country and of my belief that everyone must find their own way, form their own opinions, without sway or pressure.

Not only form opinion and a sound core belief system, but be in a position to defend it, even when it may not seem popular or cool.

Even when you may be constantly monitored, fact-checked and/or shunned by many!

Don’t go stand in the long line, simply because everyone else is there; look at the big picture, before you’ve ruled out all of your options and before committing a big chunk of your precious time to it.

It is so easy to miss the big picture, when your view is blocked by the crowd!

When I think back over the years, I've always had a very hard time with conforming.

That does not mean that I am a rule breaker, quite the contrary!

I respect law and order, when it is not abused or used to the advantage of one person or group over another.

I have a big problem with things such as political correctness and jumping on a band wagon, simply because, your friends just did or because everybody's doing it!

Hardheaded, having a smart mouth along with a strong will, was how my Mom would often describe me...as she attempted to break me of it, in various ways!

In elementary school I’d end up in the Principal’s office...often!

In retrospect, I guess I was expected to back down, walk away and allow a bully to continue to harass others, usually much younger and much smaller than she.

Toward the end of high school, I was bored and so very over it all.

I was never a troublemaker, I made good grades and I was very involved. I guess it was more a matter of having enough of that scene, feeling that chapter had enough pages and it was time to move on!

I took some time before taking college courses at night, on my terms, the schedule that I chose, working full time, paying my own way, as I went.

Taboo

My kids have rolled their eyes at me often over the years, for reasons beyond the customary clean your room, eat your veggies, mind your manners.

I've never outgrown that urge to call out a bully or to say the things which I felt needed to be said, for not every situation should be ignored.

Once upon time, many things that we were intended to talk about, discuss, debate, etc., were labeled as taboo and that’s unfortunate

It has led to a huge divide here in our Country, probably in many Countries, but I will just tend to the business of our Country, for now

My faith, my belief system comes to mind first.

Let’s just keep that to ourselves, we don’t want to offend the non-believers. It has gone so far in the opposite direction that many have been convinced that the United States wasn’t founded as a Godly nation.

Don’t dare study the Declaration of Independence too closely...don’t take it too literally!

Look at how ‘climate change’ has changed the curriculum and mindset of America's children, based on models alone! Hmmm...models, where have we heard about those, a lot, here of late and how far off have they continually been in predicting deaths from the Corona virus and yet models alone...have guilted many people into changing how they live their lives....long before we ever even heard of Covid-19.

Don't argue with the models or with the climate change alarmists, for climate change has been proclaimed from the mountainside, set in stone and that's that!

Our Godly founding, The Declaration of Independence, etc. can't hold a candle to leftist progressive prophecy, why bother teaching any of it!

We are expected to conform to the idea of the weather being something other than what it has always been - an ever present part of our lives, changing and yes, oftentimes, it's unpredictable!

At least with modern day technology, we can predict when a hurricane is coming, (not from models, but rather from actual data) so that warnings can go out and lives can be saved, unlike was the case, in the past!

When Roe v. Wade passed, it was seemingly embraced from coast to coast, but, as today, the reality is that it has never been embraced, not by the majority.

A handful of powerful, influential progressive types, with an agenda, naturally, got the final word on that subject...long, long ago!

But, those of us that do not and have not ever accepted it, for anything other than what it is, (an attempt to unravel our moral fabric, a chipping away at our God-breathed foundation) aren't to have a say, when it comes to this subject either...it’s a private matter.

A life is taken, a heartbeat stopped, in this process, but shhhh, let's not repeat that, let's make that an off-limits subject, as well. You know, let's keep it "taboo".

Abortion has taken more innocent lives than cancer, car crashes, drug overdose or some God-forsaken Chinese virus.....ever could, and that's a fact!

One abortion embracing, climate-change endorsing radical is the only woman to ever hold the position, Speaker of the House of the United States of America.

She is as radical as they come and yet, she is in the middle of her second term as Speaker.

Why is that?

Is Nancy Pelosi (D) seriously, the best we can do or is she an unchallenged bully that has always gotten her way?

The perfect, deadly storm, so to speak. Did she get a pass at some point? Several passes along the way?

Was any person ever sent to the Principal’s office, because they dared to stand up to her, only to be told to let it lie, let it be?

What has she ever contributed to this Nation?

(Yes, that is a legitimate question, please answer below in the comments section)

She fought President Trump with every ounce of her being, even while he tirelessly worked to do battle against an ugly virus with one hand, taking into consideration, the livelihood of millions, with his other hand, on top of everything else!

Ma-Damn Speaker has visions of donkeys and trophies and gavels, while our President understood that health issues go far beyond an ugly, uninvited virus, which has come into our lives.

Whether they be physical, mental, psychological...all can have devastating, long term effects.

The sooner we get back to the business of conducting business and living our lives, the sooner we heal, especially the more vulnerable and susceptible, but, the left have prolonged it and have used this virus, to their full advantage.

The longer the leftist progressives, with Ms.Pelosi and Joe Biden at the helm, seek to weaken us and keep us down, the more power they gain, the more control they have over us and over our lives, the more danger we are in!

Looking back, (it continues still in some areas) which Governors, Mayors, political leaders were urging a return to normalcy right away and which were digging in their heels, laying down the law, warning and threatening their constituents, issuing statements about separation and isolation and shutting down and closing off?

Resist

I didn't need to be hit over the head everyday by those attempting to convince me that President Trump did not have my best interest at heart!

I saw for myself early on, but many more began to see for themselves, as he worked to maneuver the unknown mystery virus that {once} seemed to come out of nowhere.

He was, no doubt, invested in our best interest and in the best interest of this Country, no matter what he faced.

He was never the one, who needed to be stopped, but he was: for the anti-America crowd needed him stopped

He was the one that stood up to bullies; whether a mystery virus, a power hungry group of people whom have come to expect, staying in power in the U.S., or the many deranged foreign and domestic entities, our Country must contend with daily!

Here in the United States of America, the people call the shots, the people get their way, (and don’t read any more into that than what it is, those of you monitoring my every word) for it is of, by and for the people.

Only the people can and should and must decide, who is most suitable in moving this Country forward, in a positive direction!

We have to insure, State by State, County by County, that will always be the case!

We must have free and fair elections, without corrupt meddling from here on out, we can never let our guard down again!

President Trump charted the right course, we must take the initiative and get this Country back on course, as soon as possible, because we aren't going to like where Joe Biden is taking us and the turn around must start now.

It is past time, to get loud!

God Bless America!

Let’s Get Loud

The Business owners of Atilis Gym in New Jersey have been fighting their State, as they’ve attempted to open back up.

On Friday night, May 22, the State changed the locks on their business, without ever stepping foot into the establishment to see for themselves, what precautions the Gym owners have taken to keep their clients SAFE. The State has chosen to deem them a health hazard regardless of what steps they take...which hoops they jump through...

The State chose to do this on Memorial Day weekend and so the business owners must wait until Tuesday to continue their fight in this latest TYRANNICAL ACT by their BLUE STATE of New Jersey.

People are beginning to stir, but they must GET LOUD, this is just ONE INCIDENT among many happening throughout this Nation in BLUE STATES/BLUE CITIES (aka:Democrats are in charge)

YES, I am extra irritated!!!

Everyone should be, this is outrageous.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 25, 2020:

I definitely get irritated, rarely mad. Passionate about many issues for sure.

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 25, 2020:

LOL....You're not a hater by any means. I don't think I've even "seen" you get mad. More like passionate about certain issues.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 25, 2020:

I need to take their advice. I don't hate, just get a little ticked off sometimes!

Be the light, be the light, be the light....;)

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 25, 2020:

I have not. I agree! :)

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 25, 2020:

Have you heard this one yet? "Be a Light". I really like the sentiment.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 25, 2020:

Maybe he lost his bearings, thought he was falling in the right direction. ;)

I showed it to my husband and he laughed out loud, he rarely does that.

Thanks for sharing!

I do hope the young man wasn't seriously hurt!

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 24, 2020:

I know! I was anticipating a fall of some sort, but not that. I laughed so hard, my son had to know what was so funny and then I was laughing while showing it to him. He couldn't stop laughing either. I had tears from laughing! The funniest part to me was the shocked "No, no, no!"

I have to believe that guy is laughing at himself over it, though. I don't see those nice "trusting" people trying to shame or embarrass him. I would sure as heck laugh at myself had it been me.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 24, 2020:

Oh my gosh. I don't know what I was expecting.....but not that!!!

He will always have trust issues now. He was 'trusting' that group of people to miraculously get to the opposite side of the room quicker than he could fall! Bahahaha! I'm dying...Lol!!!

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 24, 2020:

Here....have a laugh.....This is why we have to tell people not to eat the sanitizers and disinfectants.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 22, 2020:

No problem Brenda, there's a lot of information out there about this danged ole virus, but mainstream media seeks to put President Trump in a bad light, with every story they promote!

When they SHOULD BE in the business of properly informing the American citizen and when they SHOULD BE concerned about getting this Nation back up and running, they pile on this President.

But...we've seen it from the very beginning, they (as the Democratic party) cut him absolutely no slack whatsoever. It's a shame!

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on April 21, 2020:

Thank you for clarifying the reason for his decision about the WHO.

I was unaware of that fact.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

This is good. Very informative, worth the read.

https://www.facebook.com/prageru/videos/5828965592...

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

Thanks for joining the discussion Brenda.

The President had to take action, the WHO was complicit in all of this! They knew the source and the severity and didn't let the world in on it. The current Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, has a shady past and now this!

No, we can't continue to fund the World Health Organization when the head guy has covered for China (for whatever his reasons) and as a result, people have died, may die...as the world has stopped spinning.

I agree with you, we need to do for others, look out for our mental health, as well as our physical health, encourage each other, but...we can't wear blinders, along with our masks.

Be safe!

BRENDA ARLEDGE from Washington Court House on April 21, 2020:

Well, this article is quite alot of outspoken information.

As far as Pelosi I believe she is a bully and probably others do not stand up to her.

As far as the President...I am not certain he does have our best interest at heart.

He just suspended our contributions to the World Health Organization. I don't feel like this is a smart move at this time. We all need to be working together...this is a world wide issue.

I am more tired than most if you with this stay at home order as I am here making do with no contact with others...except an occasional in and out trip to check on my mother.

But this virus will not just simply vanish especially when people are not even wearing protective masks and gloves or trying to stop the spread.

It's like we are in a sci-fi movie which a bunch of kids who think it's not gonna get them.

I hope it doesn't, but until people start taking this seriously and making good choices for their fellow man...we have no business going back.

My advice is to relax. Embrace what is truly happening and become an example for how to make this a better life.

A simpler one. Take each day and be happy you have it. Others are not so lucky. Take a stroll to the hospital..go volunteer your help...see first hand what mistakes will do to your health.

How are these people who are rushing to get back going to feel if their children or loved ones die because of it?

Great debate topic.

Have a nice day.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

Well...my little speech stays! LOL!! Yes let me know. 10-4.

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 21, 2020:

I just meant by getting involved in what amounts to sibling squabbling, so to speak. It never ends badly, though. Everyone agrees to disagree. And there's no real name calling, except one of her close friends or maybe a cousin I don't know (who knows) called the Dems dumbocrats when she commented after I did. I'll let you know how she answers when she's able to reply to people.

I'll send you the thing that prompted me to speak up.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

You shouldn't look at it as sticking your foot in it, if they are misinformed!

Look at the garbage people are being fed on CNN, for example, can you imagine if their propaganda was never countered?

If it was left up to the left, that crap is ALL we'd ever be exposed to! It wouldn't take but a generation or two for revisionist history to take hold and this great experiment of self governance would become a thing of the past...presented in classrooms, as a big mistake.

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 21, 2020:

I'll let you know when she does. It's funny now because I always stayed out of political discussions among certain family members growing up. Now there are times when I just stick my foot in it because I get tired of seeing it. LOL

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

I'd love to hear the outspoken Democratic family member's response!

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 21, 2020:

Right before reading your replies, I just got through asking a very outspoken Democratic family member of mine why it is that the White House and Washington Officials are expected to take ALL of the blame when the states were left to make most of their own decisions. They should've all been preparing for a pandemic years ago and the hospital systems should've been working with them to prepare themselves in advance. Wasn't anything learned with the Ebola scare or any of the other "new" flus that could've devastated us?

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

To clarify: agreeing with "it's no surprise their State budgets are in trouble. They already tax the hell out of people and still can't spend it well."

I think we very well know their motives (Dems) by now. :)

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

Agreed, Shannon.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

The left is so two-faced, out of touch and clueless....they have no business leading anything, much less a State or a Nation!

Mayor de Blasio, NYC, is dumbfounded that inmates released (due to Corona) aren't grateful....but rather STILL commiting crimes!!!

I guess they really do believe that all on their own; guns, knives, blunt objects, strangleholds do the crime!

Wow just Wow!

Alrighty then

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 21, 2020:

We may never know another's true motives, but it's hard not to notice that the states do go back and forth with praise and criticism. There's no conspiracy theory in that observation.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 21, 2020:

I think that there is an ounce of sincerity here. Perhaps those govs. really meant it. We don't want to become like the drive by and knee jerk reaction that because they are liberal they are doing something bad.

I for one still think the shutdown was not a bad idea. But it is way past its' time. Just open it up. Now the refusal to do so is your conspiracy.

The oil glut is starting to concern me.

Shannon Henry from Texas on April 21, 2020:

That doesn't surprise me. I grew up in IL, but TX feels more like home now. Remember when IL elected the corrupt governor who made national headlines. Seems to have been a series of them. It's no surprise the state budget is in trouble. They already tax the hell out of people and still can't spend it well. But compliments alone don't earn funding.

A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 21, 2020:

Eric, Shannon -

This is why the Dem Governors are being nice!!

They are putting it out there...they'll be looking for bailouts for THEIR State's budget (including State pension plans!!) from the Federal Government!

From Rush Limbaugh's radio program 4-20-20:

Rush: I’m asking myself, do they have no common sense?

What are they gonna have left if they succeed with this?

Governor Cuomo just said the most incredible thing, and I’ll bet you this is gonna be true of Illinois.

Governor Cuomo at his briefing just said that the state budget of New York is totally dependent on what the federal government gives them. Stop and think about that. And I’ll bet you who’s gonna be next in line is this guy who — you know, I get the mayors and the governors in Illinois confused because the mayor of Chicago actually runs that state. J. B. Pritzker, whoever, they’re gonna be next, and both of these states have pension plans that are in big trouble and they’re gonna use federal money to bail that stuff out.

But for Cuomo to come along and say that the state budget of — and this guy’s gonna run for president? The Democrats think this is their savior nominee?

Ho.

So he’s sending basically the news that we’re gonna need a bailout after all of this. No wonder he’s being so nice to Trump.

No wonder he’s being complimentary of Trump.

No wonder Trump’s playing these audio sound bites of Cuomo complimenting him, calling Trump phenomenal.

It really irritates the Drive-Bys [MSM} by the way.

~~~
Folks, I can’t tell you how this depresses me to watch this. I mean, I know that there are people in this country that don’t like it. And I know that there are people in this country who think capitalism is a mistake and so forth, but if these people succeed, there’s not gonna be anything left to govern, which maybe is the objective. Put it back together in their own dream. But we’re heading down a path of utter destruction here, and the evidence continues to mount that it has not been necessary. And that’s what I want to start with today.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
That's funny. I've also heard that he is bribing the doctors on the task force to say nice things about him...
Crazy, just give the man a little credit, but for some that's an impossible task. They are just too invested in hating him. :(
Shannon Henry from Texas on April 20, 2020:
I've heard claims that Trump is bribing those governors to say good things in exchange for federal assistance. Of course, there are tons of other conspiracy theories floating around.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
I don't know, I've gotten mixed signals from some of the Governors....they may be kind for now, but, I don't trust a few of them, not sure what their game plan is. I am sure the President doesn't let his guard down for a second though.
Of course there are those that will blame Trump for everything, he can't win with them, it's clear.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 20, 2020:
Amazing trying to blame Trump, especially when all the governors are praising him of his actions. Headed for on more big divide for the Dems.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
Have ya'll seen this? Love, love, love him...Crenshaw 2024 ;)
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
Probably pot stores and liquor stores, right? I was going to say ice cream shops too, but I guess she has hers shipped in, soooo...
She's a trip, no doubt!
I sure hope she is done on the next go round!
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 20, 2020:
California is doing a great job. Things Pelosi hates; gun shops, sport fishing, golf, church and assembly against her. Well pot stores are open but the others are all shut down.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
Certainly nothing positive, especially if showing any form of support for President Trump, instead we continually hear how Biden and this person or Biden and that person would beat Trump, if the election were held today. I say BS to that!
Speaking of news stories; I'm sure California leftists were so proud of themselves when they elected to dump tons of sand into skateparks. One park alone received nearly 40 tons of sand, not even counting labor costs, the sand alone costs over 20 grand. BUT this is what they did, so that a lone skater or two wouldn't be able to skate, not in their parks by golly...not on their pandemic watch!!
This is madness!
I'm wondering if the dirt bikers and four-wheelers have showed up yet? LOL
Will the sand eventually be removed or will it stay for dirt bikers? Will the skateboarders get new parks? Did any one of these knuckleheads think this out....I think NOT!
Suzie from Carson City on April 20, 2020:
HAVE seen nor......Drat!
Suzie from Carson City on April 20, 2020:
Of course you didn't know......even being from Florida! You certainly wouldn't have seen nor heard it from ANY MEDIA!!! (Lovely biased people that they are)
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 20, 2020:
Love it. I live in FL, didn't know anything about it! That's odd!! ;)
Thanks for sharing Paula.
Hi Eric, I try to remember to pray for our President and this Nation everyday, but the days I forget, I know that others are picking up my slack.
Sadly, the lost leaders of the party formerly known as the Democratic Party would cripple this great Nation, if it meant that in the end, they'd hold all the power.
Of course that will never happen, there are too many Patriots, as we have seen, between the Tea Party days and those today attempting to peaceably assemble over the last couple of days in defense of their rights and Government intrusion into their lives, although many of them are being shutdown.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
LOL Shannon, it took me a minute!
Thanks, glad you liked it. Hopefully, the bully we are referencing is, at the very least, giving more thought to her comments. But...doubtful.
Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on April 19, 2020:
Hey I just prayed for Nation and Leaders -- sorry I have not lately, my bad.
Your comment on Pelosi blows my mind. Very strange in a bad way. I look at the shutdown with a different countdown. I say we have 2 weeks to open her up. Otherwise our economy and therefor democracy will be dead on arrival.
Shannon Henry from Texas on April 19, 2020:
Well, if it's any consolation, Miss Tanner, I quite liked what you said.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Seriously?
How rude! I even scaled down. Whatever.
Guess we don't know what some people are going through. She may have some real problems....besides the obvious signs of her TDS.
Shannon Henry from Texas on April 19, 2020:
I was wrong, Angie! She didn't delete mine.....but she did delete yours.
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
I think we all need to go back to bed and start anew! Maybe some have partied all night long...all week long...and haven't slept in a very, very long time!
We are all on our own type of journey.
Allen Edwards from Iowa on April 19, 2020:
Enlisting yourself in the battle that you perceive to be the most important and valuable at any particular stage of your life, well, what other choice could you have made, or will you make, in the future..given the biological fact that you are actually, only,; a simple biological organism that has absolutely NO choice in how you think about what you think about!
And as follows, it could be a matter of simple logic, if you were to agree your enemy in your battles of "righteous by my defintion", could possibly have as much, if not more :"justification of battle" based on their righteousness?
After mapping out the perimeter of every battlefield and enlisting your fellow warriors of "righteousness", you are then free to commence the method of warfare towards those of opposing "righteousness" and, depending on the eventual surrender, or annihilation, of either your or their army..you can -- with victory -- step back with a sublime sense of righteous satisfaction, or, in the case of a defeat by the "Non-Believers" "Non-Knowlegable" "Non-Conservative" hordes..immediately find a different cause to reasemble and return to a new -- if not slightly more slowly due to biological degradation -- a new battlefield of justification for your righteousness?
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Chris Wallace: “People are taking to the streets, pushing back against some of the more stringent restrictions in some states. CAN YOU UNDERSTAND WHY THEY’RE DOING THAT?”
Nancy Pelosi: “NO, NO NOT REALLY, we have to do this, we have to shelter in place, that’s the answer.”
WHAT!?!
Wouldn’t any engaged, in touch...fellow American, which truly understands our continual fight to hold on to our FREEDOM, understand this?
Forget her being an American for a second (not hard to do, I know) wouldn’t most politicians, at the very least, say, YES I UNDERSTAND IT and then proceed with the BUT?
Oh my gosh, now I need to go back to bed!
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Yes, Shan, go back to bed, you need your strength for dealing with youngins', I know!
I well remember those days of always being sleep deprived. :)
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Good morning Eric, I do not envy Roosevelt, Bush, Trump, all leaders, the tough calls that they all have/had to make. I'd never be able to sleep with all of the decisions weighing on me, if President.
I pray for President Trump and this Nation everyday, we are all faced with an additional enemy...as if there aren't enough enemies already...we plainly see how the left works against our President and this Nation at every turn. It's disgraceful!
Shannon Henry from Texas on April 19, 2020:
No one wants to see me dance, Angie, trust me. I can't even line dance! Let's just say I danced in my mind and leave it at that. I can't imagine growing up in an era where social gatherings included dancing graceful dances such as the waltz. LOL.....Back to bed for me this morning. It's raining and rain helps me sleep. I'll take it while I can. See ya later. Have a fantastic day!
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Good morning Paula, LOL, yes, I think we may be cut from the very same cloth.
Letting it lie...doesn't apply! :)
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 19, 2020:
Good morning Shannon, so you got up dancing this morning, right? ;)
Hahahaha....I read that as "a bipartisan ship" and didn't even realize beyond a slight oddity until I saw the correction. Gloria failed to get me on my feet tonight. New medication messing with me today. Maybe tomorrow. LOL
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 18, 2020:
*bipartisanship
A B Williams (author) from Central Florida on April 18, 2020:
Thank you Shannon...but did Gloria Estefan get you up on your feet and dancing?
There will never be bipartisan ship coming from the left, as long as Donald J. Trump or any other non-leftist, non-progressive socialist person is President.
Shannon Henry from Texas on April 18, 2020:
I love your title! And your personal story to go with it.
I think I'm somewhere in the middle for getting things back to normal. The economy certainly needs it, but without a vaccine or an effective treatment that won't overwhelm the hospitals, it can't be done without a ton of caution. I'd hate to see numbers suddenly spike in areas that haven't had a lot of deaths. I don't see why this has to be a political issue up on the hill or anywhere else. When it comes to American protection, it should be bipartisan. . .but I don't hold my breath for any of that happening in the government.
