The Big Lie

One often sees progressives calling those they hate ‘fascists,’ but the word does not mean what they think it means. One of the biggest lies – and they are manifold - taught to American students today is that Fascism or Nazism is ‘right wing.’

The ‘left-wing' Democrats call President Trump and his supporters ‘Nazis’ and ‘Fascists.’ This ignores the historical fact that a Fascist or a Nazi is FIRST A SOCIALIST – precisely what the leftist proudly claims to be!

The term 'Fascism' was invented by the militantly Atheist-Socialist Benito Mussolini to describe his National Socialism, as opposed to 'International Socialism,' which is what all other Socialists were during his day. Some still are, if they are Globalists. You know, 'citizens of the world,' not loyal to any particular country.

President Trump is a Free Enterprise Capitalist, which is the opposite of a Fascist.

Benito Mussolini Invented the Term Fascism

Benito Mussolini was a Socialist who called Karl Marx his “father and teacher, the magnificent philosopher of working-class violence.” Lenin admired Mussolini, who was the leading writer of Italian Socialism before seizing control of it. Mussolini wrote: “The middle class is playing its last card and calls forth on the world scene that which Karl Marx called the sixth great power: the socialist revolution.”

Mussolini would base his Theory of Fascism on the Theory of Evolution. Atheism was his belief system, another thing he had in common with Lenin. Mussolini’s hero was the German socialist, Kurt Eisner.

Mussolini's initial program was to take over factories, finance, and capital, bring companies and the economy under his thumb—or else—and confiscate church lands. Historian Zeev Sternhell, the world’s foremost expert on Fascism, says, “Mussolini was the strongman of the Left.”

It is absolute nonsense to claim Mussolini was 'right wing.' Left-wing intellectuals around the world deemed him left wing like themselves in the 1930s. He considered himself left-wing all his life. He and FDR greatly admired each other. He called FDR a Fascist and both men knew it was a compliment. Leftist intellectuals in America and Europe loved him and his fascist schemes.

It was in the 1950s that Hitler and Mussolini got thrown on the right wing by left-wing professors of the Frankfort School, beginning with Columbia University. However, Mussolini considered himself a Socialist until the end.

All Socialists until World War One were Internationalists. They wanted to erase all borders. They urged all working men of the world to unite and not to fight in WW1 against their fellow proletariat brothers because they were going to erase nationalities soon altogether. Their main meetings were named: The International. Both Mussolini and Lenin independently said the same thing after the war ended: “The Socialist International is dead.”

Their movement was making no headway because Italians liked being Italians, Germans liked being Germans, Englishmen liked being Englishmen, and Americans liked being Americans. The big idea of Mussolini and Hitler was NATIONAL SOCIALISM. This way Italians and Germans could remain Italians and Germans and yet be Socialists too.

Mussolini came up with the term FASCISM, which literally means a COLLECTIVE. Let me know how many right-wing collectivists you know. Mussolini was not planning a right-wing small and limited government, with individual freedom, checks and balances, and subsidiarity like America, that honored God, but a left-wing TOTALITARIAN STATE that runs everything from top to bottom, officially atheist or pagan. Until his dying day, Mussolini never stopped declaring, “Socialism is in my blood. I am and shall remain a Socialist.”

A few words from Fascism’s creator, Benito Mussolini: “The keystone of the Fascist doctrine is its conception of the State, of its essence, its functions, and its aims. For Fascism the State is absolute, individuals and groups relative. Fascism is a religion. The twentieth century will be known in history as the century of Fascism.”

What Is Fascism?

The original fascists were the Italian Blackshirts and Nazi Brownshirts who specialized in public intimidation, mob violence, and threats of violence to silence anyone who didn’t share their views. They would curtail the free exchange of ideas through bullying, grounded in hatred and in resentment of perceived grievances, to impose their will and deprive others of their rights to speak, to hear, and to think for themselves. Mussolini coined the word “Totalitarian” to describe his fascist system.

Fascism is militantly opposed to Christianity. It is the opposite of President Trump and his mostly Christian supporters.

The Left was born in the French Revolution as an anti-Christian movement. It was Fascist even then, although the name was not yet invented, intending to make politics the new Religion of Man, sort of a modern Paganism, much like Nazism. Mussolini and the Nazis hated Christianity with a demonic passion.

Government ownership of the means of production and distribution of goods, services, and jobs—Central Planning Collectivism—has long been a standard definition of Socialism. Fascism is a form of Socialism with "government control of the economy while leaving ownership in private hands. That way, politicians get to call the shots but, when their bright ideas lead to disaster, they can always blame those who own businesses in the private sector," according to Thomas Sowell. The State might permit private ownership of business and industry to continue, in other words, under the condition that the State commands every aspect of it.

Fascism is a political religion. It is about centralizing all power in the national state, precisely what American progressives constantly long for and do. The Fascist slogan was: "Everything in the state, nothing outside the state." If that doesn't sound Left Wing, I don't know what does. Giovanni Gentile was the main formulator of fascist theory, and he stressed that "religion must be subordinated," as leftists always do, even today.

Every single one of the men who became Fascists in Italy, France, Belgium, and Germany were leftists and socialists. Fascism was described as “Communism in black.” Left-wing historian Roger Griffin even admits, "Fascism is anti-conservative."

National Socialism

Bernie Sanders could have written the 1920 Nazi platform. Socialists in Germany and Italy were the first put into practice the idea that they should decide all activities of the individual from the cradle to the grave, to guide his views on everything, to make all problems questions that only they should answer.

The state would decide the general position and income of each person. Only as a member of a group capable of influencing those who exercised the coercive powers of the state could a person maintain or improve his position. These Socialists became known as Nazis and Fascists. As has been aptly said: "What has always made the state a hell on earth has been precisely that man has tried to make it his heaven."

The NAZIs—the acronym means National Socialists—hated Capitalism above all else. They rose to power with a specifically anti-capitalist ideology. Hitler saw himself as mounting a revolutionary assault on capitalism.

Hitler was converted to National Socialism by a speech made by Socialist leader Gottfried Feder entitled: "How and by what means is Capitalism to be eliminated?"

From the start, the National Socialists had in their platform the nationalization of healthcare, education, all industry, and retail businesses, as well as capital punishment for anyone caught loaning money with interest (bankers).

The Nazis proved to be ardent Socialists. They believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan religion, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life. The Nazis declared war on smoking but supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control.

They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities—where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian; Himmler was an animal rights activist.

FDR and the Progressive Democrats

It was progressive Democrats who allied themselves with Fascists and Nazis in the 1930s, not conservative Republicans. FDR and his Brain Trust did not hide the fact that they borrowed ideas from the Fascists for their New Deal. FDR had sent them to Rome to study Fascism.

Many progressives today figure FDR as the greatest president ever. FDR thought Mussolini was awesome. Fascists, including Nazis, returned the admiration, especially for FDR's New Deal. The central part of it was taken explicitly from Fascism, the National Recovery Act, which made it the federal government's business to set working hours, wages, prices, and even production levels for what were previously private companies. The man who managed it, Hugh Johnson, loved Mussolini and often quoted from Fascist literature. The NRA in its brochure stated: "The Fascist principles are very similar to ours."

FDR's right-hand man, Rex Tugwell, admired Mussolini and openly lauded Fascism: "It makes me envious." Mussolini said FDR's political ideas were similar to Fascism, the chief aim of which was to replace Free Market Capitalism with National Socialism, with the State controlling everything, especially business, industry, and the economy. FDR said of Mussolini, “I don’t mind telling you I keep in close touch with that admirable Italian gentleman.”

The official Nazi newspaper praised FDR for the “adoption of National Socialism in his economic and social policies." Just like us, they said, "FDR demands that the collective good be put before any self-interest. He feels much affinity with National Socialist Philosophy."

The most famous black American of his day, W.E.B. Du Bois, a founder of the NAACP, was a Socialist who saw Stalin and Hitler as kindred socialist spirits. He said Stalin was "a great man who pursued real socialism," and lauded Hitler for his socialized medicine, public housing projects, and living wage program.

The Left Wing Defined

The Left Wing was born in the French Revolution, which had as its chief aim the destruction of Christianity, the goal of Marxists, Socialists, Fascists, Communists, and all other Leftists, today and in the past. A dreamer becomes dangerous when you take away his belief in God. He has to find a new religion because man is by nature religious. He must serve something more substantial than himself. The daughters of Socialism—Communism, Fascism, and Nazism—all produced the same result: Existence without life from denying man’s spiritual dimension.

Socialism, Communism, and Fascism are all Totalitarian and all come from the same set of ideas, the central theme of which is that individual freedom must yield to an all-powerful state. Christianity, Capitalism, and Social Conservatism were the enemies of progress.

Communism, Socialism, Fascism, and today’s Progressivism have the same aims: To harness the power of the State to achieve Utopia by eliminating Christianity, Free Enterprise and Individual Freedom; to institute totalitarianism, meaning no part of human life is beyond the reach of the state; to run the world with scientific experts doing the central planning; to impose uniformity of speech and thought through political correctness; make all citizens dependent on the Almighty State for their very survival; to control education, journalism, media, and entertainment; to destroy anything that might otherwise command men’s loyalty, such as marriage, family, free associations, and most of all the Church. Fascists, socialists, communists, and progressives all want to free man from traditional morality.

Russian socialist Leon Trotsky said Fascism and Socialism were “symmetrical phenomena.” What was Obama’s slogan? “The government is the one thing we all belong to.” This is the opposite of conservative thought, based on the Founding Fathers: The government belongs to us, not us to it.

Socialism/Fascism/Communism/Secular Humanism are all variations of the same thing and all rest on a foundation of Atheism. Thus having dispensed with any higher authority, the State assumes absolute authority over all other institutions including the Family and the Church, which in this evil ideology are nothing more than the inventions of old-fashioned men.

Individuals do not have any inalienable rights but only rights granted, or taken away, by the Almighty State. What follows is a single party government that kills its opposition and silences dissent by whatever means necessary. It takes total control of education and all means by which ideas are communicated. It loves secret meetings and secret police. It owns everything and everybody. The law becomes what it says it is. Moreover, it usually involves a cult of personality around a Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Chairman Mao, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Castro, or Obama.

In the 1930s, the leftist Walter Lippmann made this observation: “The premises of authoritarian collectivism have become the working beliefs, the self-evident assumptions, the unquestioned axioms, of nearly every effort which lays claim to being enlightened and progressive. In the name of progress, men who call themselves communists, socialists, fascists, progressives, and even liberals, are unanimous in holding that government with its instruments of coercion must, by commanding the people how they should live, direct the course of civilization and fix the shape of things to come.”

It is the left wing that tolerates, encourages and commits political violence, preventing conservatives from speaking. There is no Conservative Antifa. Who is against Free Speech? The Left. Who forces everyone to talk and think their way by demanding conformity with political correctness? Not the right wing, that’s for sure. Who constrains liberty every chance they get through big and bigger government? The Left.

The Source of the Big Lie

This lie that Fascism and Nazism are ‘right wing’ came out of academia in the 1950s, created by ‘Reds’ who wanted to disassociate themselves from and demonize ‘Browns’ and ‘Blacks.’ It was invented by Cultural Marxists (Freudian Atheist Socialists) to sabotage society.

The strategy involved a clever redefining of Fascism as “extreme right-wing,” which is the opposite of the truth. Fascism is a branch of Socialism, and thus could not be more left wing. Along with that lie, they would teach the evil falsehood that “if you placed strong importance on family, religion, patriotism, and private ownership of property, you were at least latently a Fascist.”

This is nothing more than typical left-wing psychological projection: Demonizing those they hate by blaming their victims for what they themselves do. The chief architect of the lie was Theodor Adorno, the genius of the Frankfort School in the 1950s. He started the big lie that Fascists were Conservative and claimed that his book proved it ‘scientifically.' Which it most certainly did not.

However, the leftist college professors quickly embraced it as a way to get Mussolini and Hitler out of their leftist pantheon. Moreover, as a way to justify hating Conservative people, like President Trump and his supporters, without feeling guilty about it. In fact, to feel proud and justified in their hatred of their fellow man. The irony is that they hate Christians in much the same way as Hitler hated Jews.

The key to Adorno’s explanation was that Fascists were Authoritarians – as if Socialists, Communists, and today’s Progressives aren’t. Adorno defined Authoritarian as “denying the legitimacy of opponents, encouraging violence, and the willingness to curb the freedom of those you oppose.” I can hardly think of a better description than that of today’s progressives.

So the American Academia shoved the Fascists onto the 'right wing.' And I'll tell you why. Academia self-identifies as 93% leftists. They noticed that ALL bloody tyrants had been committed leftists - the French Revolution, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Chairman Mao, etc. - and so they thought, well, we've got to make people think mass murdering psychopaths can be conservative, too, so let's put Hitler over on the right to balance out the maniacal massacres.

Many of those making this decision were Atheist/Jews. In other words, Jewish by blood but not by religion—not really Jewish at all; therefore, some would argue. They themselves were committed Socialists/ Communists but naturally despised Hitler for what he did to their people, and abhorred the thought that Hitler WAS just what he said he was: A Socialist - like them.

This is the same place all this nonsense about "Hitler was a Christian" comes from, when he was, in fact, a satanic pagan. The fact is Socialism/Fascism/Communism/Totalitarianism are ALL on the LEFT because all require a massive and Almighty State to implement their plans, whereas any true conservative person on the Right is for individual freedom and small government. A small, limited government cannot do what Hitler did - what Fascists do – tell everybody what to do and when and for how long.

The Trump haters at Google define Fascism as “authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.” Others define it as “extreme right-wing, authoritarian, or intolerant views or practice.” That was not the definition at the time real Fascists roamed the earth. Moreover, it is not the correct definition now.

Antifa has been the most violent of the leftist groups in America lately. Its name is a huge joke: It is supposed to mean ‘Anti-Fascist.' However, Antifa is itself a Fascist organization, and the people it hates and commits violence upon are not.

Fascists do not respect the law or the rights of others. They are enraged by resentment and group grievances. They use force to impose their will. The Italian Blackshirts and the Nazi Brownshirts were the originals, but Antifa is just like them. They use armed intimidation and mob violence to silence those they despise.

Just like other Fascists, Antifa is against Free Speech because that means all ideas are allowed to be expressed and perhaps persuade others with logic and reason. All Fascists, including Antifa, want to prohibit freedom of thought and speech. They reject open debate, telling those they hate, “We're not interested in talking to you!”

Fascism is deeply hostile to small, limited government, individual freedom, the free market, and democratic republicanism – the very cornerstones of Conservatism. The idea of personal liberty is anathema to the Fascist.

The Antifa fascists have employed violence to impose their will and silence debate in dozens of episodes of violent mob action, fueled by raw, diabolical hate. Amid the Antifa crowd, one reporter said, “their words were filled with venom, anger, hate, and intolerance.”

Antifa puts “race at the center of life,” embracing collectivist, racialist identity politics in which there is no place for individuality, just as the Nazis did. “White privilege” is the explanation for everything wrong in the world to Antifa, while to the Nazis it was the Jews. Different scapegoat; same vile malevolence. Race is how Antifa judges a person, just as it was for the Nazis.

Antifa, like all Fascists, has declared Capitalism the evil of the world that must be eradicated. They militantly loathe Christianity, as do all Fascists. Fascism is militantly opposed to the Judeo-Christian basis of Western Civilization, as is Antifa. Mussolini himself was virulently anti-Church, while the attitude of Nazism was “National Socialism and Christianity Are Irreconcilable.”

Therein lies the rub.

I smell sulfur.

NPR Compares Donald Trump to Mussolini! Tax-payer-funded NPR also implied that former Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush also embraced similar fascist ideology. Obviously, they have no clue what Fascism is.

Jason Stanley, a professor of philosophy at Yale University, offers one perspective on the word for NPR. He defines Fascism as “a cult of the leader who promises national restoration in the face of humiliation brought on by supposed communists, Marxists and minorities and immigrants who are supposedly posing a threat to the character and the history of a nation.”

That is ignorant. Fascism was invented by Benito Mussolini, who loved Marx’s ideas, and his country that had no “minorities and immigrants,” so that cannot be what it’s about.

Another prominent professor on NPR claimed Trump is Fascist because, “the leader of country X claims that he is going to remain in power for many years beyond what is legal. He sends federal forces in to quell largely peaceful protests for racial justice in his country. His attorney general seems dedicated to him over the rule of law. The major political party that controls the courts and most of the government has, as their entire platform, devotion to him.”

Think of how utterly stupid that is. President Trump has never done any of that. “Protests for racial justice” were non-existent when Fascism was invented. And most of the government and courts have been against President Trump from the beginning, not devoted to him.

The taxpayers should not be funding such hateful, partisan drivel.

The new socialism is actually the same old socialism dressed up:

"The Green New Deal, proposed earlier this year by Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey (D., Mass.), would transition the U.S. economy entirely away from fossil fuels within ten years while simultaneously providing a federal jobs and healthcare guarantee. It would also, according to its proponents, advance “social, economic, racial, regional and gender-based justice and equality and cooperative and public ownership.”

Do you see that innocuous-sounding 'cooperative and public ownership'? That means government owns everything including the means of production. Same old, same old.

This should be the first thing that those on the left here have to deal with in their comments. As you say, they have pasted this label on Trump, and we know that Trump is not a socialist.

"Fascism is militantly opposed to Christianity. It is the opposite of President Trump and his mostly Christian supporters."

This certainly resonates with the anti Trumpers we know on Hp. I don't believe this existed before Obama became president?

"Mussolini was 'right wing.' Left-wing intellectuals around the world deemed him left wing like themselves in the 1930s. He considered himself left-wing all his life. This would account for why FDR came up with SS, it even has the word "Social":)in it.

While at the same time that FDR burden the people with this pathetic system, the federal government would be treating the federal workers to a real retirement system and one that today is beyond platinum in its depth.

One has to wonder why we call them public "servants", when we are stuck with SS and they have FERS. FERS has a Defined Benefit Retirement compared to the Defined Contribution Retirement.

The former defines the benefit, while the latter doesn't define it.

In my opinion, FDR ran with the ball that would allow the US to break away from being a limited central government. To do that they would need to be able to generate revenue to fund an expanding government. That funding happened in 1913 with the 16th amendment to TAX income.

Then this would be followed by SCOTUS misinterpreting the Interstate Commerce Clause. Which would make true the old phrase of making a mountain out of a mole hill, or making it a federal case.

The federal and the states is a zero sum government. The 10th amendment gets depleted as the federal government takes ownership. The Supremacy Clause is more powerful that the Residual Clause of the 10th amendment.

To get back onto topic.

Today, the left is trying to transcend from the simple goal of ever expanding the government to replacing the people with the state (central government).

This also leads into the left abruptly changing from a sovereignty country that wants border, to the internationalists that you mention. They advocate no borders and letting the world in to dilute Americans from America.

B: As for Fascism that the left keeps painting president Trump, they know that he isn't a dictator because they don't listen to him. He is not the one that wants to take away guns, or constitutional rights, but they do and that is their boast.

Finally, your article should be read by those that just throw labels around and use them as weapons. If they believe in what they say, then they have already left America.
