1. Deadly Flash Flooding in St. Louis, Missouri
DEADLY FLASH FLOODING IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
Dangerous storms are colliding with extreme heat and causing flash flooding.
Footage from the news broadcast showed cars submerged in the waters.
2. Balt Springs
BALT SPRINGS
Two dozen homes have been damaged from fire in Balt Springs, a suburb of Dallas, Texas.
3. Shooting scare at Dallas Airport
SHOOTING SCARE AT DALLAS AIRPORT
New video has been released of a shooting scare at the Dallas Lovefield Airport in Texas, U.S.
A 37 year old woman, Portia Odufuma, fired shots at the ceiling in the airport terminal. She was shot and apprehended by law enforcement and she is recovering at an area hospital.
4. Human remains found at Lake Mead
HUMAN REMAINS FOUND AT LAKE MEAD
A third set of human remains have been found at Lake Mead, where the waters have been receding due to drought conditions.
5. Uvalde Principal suspended with pay
UVALDE PRINCIPAL SUSPENDED WITH PAY
Principal Guitterez of Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas has been suspended with pay.
- Regarding the mass shooting of elementary school students and staff, there was noncompliance discovered.
- There were doors with nonworking locks that had never been fixed and unlocked doors that were supposed to be locked for the security of the students and staff.
6. Monkeypox cases are rising

In the United States, Monkeypox cases are rising. Monkeypox cases across the country have jumped 33% in just the past four days.
There are now around 3,000 Monkeypox cases in the U.S.
In addition to the skin lesions, Monkeypox symptoms might include fever and headache.
7. Russians to quit space station
RUSSIANS TO QUIT SPACE STATION
Russia has announced that the country will withdraw from the International Space Station in 2024.
8. A deer through the windshield
A DEER THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD
A deer went through the windshield of a bus on the road in Oklahoma. The deer survived.
Surveillance video showed that the bus driver stayed calm, talked to the deer to calm it down, stopped the bus and opened the door to let the deer get off the bus.
9. Mega Million Jackpot
MEGA MILLION JACKPOT
The Mega Million jackpot has reached $830 million.
