Attractive Female Serial Killers

I have a fascination with the fringe and true crime in particular.

Aileen Wournos was a victim and victimizer, she was attractive when she was young and lured men to their deaths.

Aileen Wournos was a victim and victimizer, she was attractive when she was young and lured men to their deaths.

It's strange how many people are attracted to killers. Ted Bundy had quite the fan club and Charles Manson had a young bride while he was an old man in prison. There is some kind of allure to the aberrant, to those who are way out there past everyone's bounds.

Well, young girls scream for rock stars and rock stars are about as aberrant as they get; often drug addicts who partake in a lifestyle most people consider disgusting except for the fact that they're rich and famous. Just consider Mick Jagger and David Bowie. They'd certainly be in trouble with the MeToo Movement if they were doing what they used to do when they were young and at the peak of their fame.

So, let's not pretend like this fascination for the wrong is new. We love it and pretend we don't.

Here I list who I consider to be some very attractive, I might even say alluring, female serial killers.

Joanna Dennehy

Joanna Dennehy

Neglectful mother of two and naughty party girl, Dennehy preferred to use sharp instruments on her three victims, whom she dumped in a ditch in Peterborough in England. Everybody loves a bad girl and she enticed her lovers with that attitude and aptitude for partying and having a good time. She evidently made a good impression on her humongous abetter, Gary Stretch, who drove her around to find her prey.

Dennehy specifically targeted men, particularly did not target women with children, and wanted to outdo heroes Bonnie and Clyde. A psycho with a penchant for self-harm, the only motive she ever came up with for her crimes was that she needed to have fun.

Seemingly not a prize, still Joanna had an impact on the men in her lives.

Aileen Wournos

A victim of childhood abuse, Aileen Wournos sought revenge on men as a prostitute turned serial killer. Claiming to the end she was justified, she also heard voices that people were out to get her and put her in prison for life just to be mean. It seems Wournos had schizophrenia because her father, who was in prison instead of being a father, was diagnosed with the condition and died by hanging in his cell.

When young and free, Aileen had no trouble attracting customers and even a husband. She was appealing and provocative and good with a gun. Variably, she killed her customer victims either because they were assaulting her or because she wanted to rob them; she never totally made up her mind why.

Karla Homolka

Karla Homolka

Active and energetic, attractive unnatural blonde accomplice to lunatic husband Paul Bernardo, Homolka is responsible for ending the lives of two teenage girls in Canada. Even during the trial she, by her own admission, wanted to look pretty for Paul and make him drool. She also celebrated his crimes, which was caught on video tape during the victimization of their prey.

After all is said and done, Karla partook of her husband's assault and murder of three teenage girls.

Known for being naughty, Karla helped her husband commit heinous crimes.

Vera Renczi

Prolific killer and Eastern European beauty, Vera Renczi did away with 35 men after her husband cheated on her and therefore sparked her incredible and successful kiling spree. Having long enjoyed a very well-to-do life, I suppose she figured she could get away with it. Evidently she did not because she was put away for life.

Her weapon of choice was arsenic, her preferred victims were married men whom she seduced and did away with; with the exception of her son who threatened to tell on her.

Quite the seductress and prolific murderess, Vera qualifies as a attractive serial killer.

Mary Bell

At the age of 11, Mary Bell began her strange murder saga, but as a reformed and released convicted killer, she is now single and ready to mingle. Fact is, we don't know anything about her now because a court in Britain granted her anonymity so she can live her life in peace.

At any rate, when she was a pre-teen, Mary was quite the active child. She victimized vulnerable children and even took part in mutilation.

Mary Bell was a mere child when she committed her crimes but as a grown woman she is quite the beauty.

Kelly Cochran

As is usual, Kelly did crazy things while under the influence of drugs; in fact, she shot her husband full of heroin and then killed him but not until she aided him in the murder of a coworker after doing wild party time things with him. Who could blame him, she aint half bad. How was he to know she was straight up nuts! Quite the wild life she led but, of course, it eventually landed her in prison.

Bonnie Parker

While we tend to think of serial killers as middle-class white men with no friends, driving around in a van seeking out prey because nobody liked them in high school, we often don't realize that gangsters are also often in that category of "serial killer". Aint that somethin'!

Anyway, Bonnie from Bonnie and Clyde, was responsible for the deaths of about 13 people, including 9 coppers. She, of course, was famous as part of the duo that led the Barrow Gang on crime sprees across America during the Great Depression. Like a lot of criminals at that time, they were heroes because Americans vitimized by the economic system had no time to uphold people who upheld the system.

Bonnie and Clyde, Depression era heroes who robbed banks and gas stations and eluded the law until the law murdered them.

Leslie Van Houten

I think the most attractive of the Manson girls, Van Houten never could get parole even when she was old and sick; which I found to be unfair.

At any rate, she was responsible for the death of the LaBianca's, an older rich couple who lived in an upscale neighborhood of Los Angeles, where the Manson Family sought their prey. She claimed that whatever she might have done, it was done after the couple was already dead so shouldn't count.

Christine Paolilla

Christine Paolilla, though a certified cutie, nevertheless was insecure during her high school years because of bald spots - aka a full bald head - which forced her to wear bob haircut style wigs that accentuated her pixie appeal. Either way, it ends up she shot four people who were supposedly friends, presumably to steal drugs. Strange thing is, a couple victims were shot in the groin region, indicating a bit of sadistic and revengeful motives on the part of pretty girl Paolilla.

Christine Paolilla

This concludes this episode of weird stuff we find appealing. Not everyone is attracted to these kinds of people, of course, but people who are aberrantly dark and on the fringe have an appeal to many seemingly normal citizens. These ladies of the ultimate in aberant behavior are no exception to those who have this kind of magnetism.

I wish I could get a job with them, I'd be much better off.

Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery feature this sort of "folks" most days of the week. The programs get a lot of advertising thanks to their popularity. If they ever run out of murder mysteries, they may get around to these hysterias. You did a good job of pulling this Hub together. Perhaps they need you as an editor?

Hello Nathan, It seems as though many people have a fascination with the evil that men/women do, until faced with your own horrors.

This is a very interesting read.

Blessings my friend
