Are Trump and Putin in Collusion Now?

Author:

Vladimir Putin is no doubt loving Trump's continual discord on voter fraud and how the 2020 election WILL be fraudulent (unless he wins, of course) and how it will end up at the Supreme Court's feet. Only then, will he concede a defeat. Meanwhile, Trump loves to be illusive about whether he will or will not accept the outcome of Nov. 3.

We all know that is NOT going to happen due to mail-in voting and delays, so it could last up till Nov. 24th, before a final count has been tallied. Of course, unless the Nov. 3rd count is so lopsided and apparent, then I guess Trump concede, or will he?

It would be crazy if evidence appears that everything Trump is doing to rig an election has been discussed with Russian operatives. All this election discord is right out of their playbook and Trump just swallows it no matter how many times evidence appears that voter fraud in elections is minimal. Trump just hopes you become so apathetic that your vote will not be counted, that you will NOT vote. This will help Trump.

Trump is so desperate and nervous about the coming election, he has threatened the whole process BUT only if he loses, LOL. If he wins, he'll concede that there is no voter fraud..

Trump has said that his base will rise and take to the streets if he loses and he does not accept the loss. Putin must just love all this mayhem in the world's democracy gone amuck. Trump's lawyers are all ready to file injunctions etc., if Trump loses in key battleground states citing voter fraud and miscounts and lost ballots. If a recount fails to give him a win, then, he will take it to the Supreme Court and his expectations that all his nominees will fall in line, including the most recent member, to declare Trump the winner or that election results are rigged and miscounted. But will they?

Just like the FDA now turning on Trump about the mad rush for a vaccine out by before the election, saying their approval for release will only happen when the test results show its effectiveness and that it is safe. Trump has said that only he knows about the a vaccine's safety and will decide when it will be released, no doubt before the vote happens to gain political points. Screw those suckers who take a half-baked vaccine. Will the FDA fall in line with Trump or not?

Trump jokes about having a third term, should he win in November, even if he needs to change to Constitution to do it. The most any president is allowed is two terms.

Trump is showing his true autocratic dictator-like character. He is like a modern day Nero that must be taken out of office! Ah, but Putin must be loving this. The collapse of America from within. In Putin's wildest dreams, he never thought it would happen so easily with a friend in the White House.

And the lives of future generations.

Sharlee on October 01, 2020:

Leslie, We have hit on something we agree on... I think it very important to point out choice. And variety is the spice of life. I am sure we on both sides are disappointed in the divide situation but at this point in our history, we have all become very focused on what suits our own lives.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on October 01, 2020:

I know. It’s pointless. But we have to get the message out there, to know there is a choice!

The worst is when there is one POV only......like in the forums recently. Variety is the spice of life!

Sharlee on October 01, 2020:

Leslie, at this point Row V Wade has defined a women's rights to make a choice her own to have an abortion. I am hopeful Row V wade is in some respects amended.

I would suggest we wait until we have election results before pointing the finger at Trump's objections to the outcome. At this point, he has said if he sees fraud he would take court action. The Dems are also ready to dispute the election if they feel there was any fraud. As I said in another post here, I hope there will be an electoral vote landslide. Where it won't matter if there were any problems with fraud.

I have agreed the country will remain divided.

I have come to sort of be proud to be on the common sense side of that divide., and in no way care about the divide. Have at it. Not sure if you noted most Republican placate those on the left. It's just the decent thing to do. After all, with political views being so different it just best to ignore the other's views. So easy, and actually in my view, conservatives have nothing in common with a leftist. Arguing back and forth seems to make little sense.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on October 01, 2020:

Oh you better believe it. Like how all of you are willing to ignore the 14th amendment clause which found it right that a woman should decide her own reproductive choices,

And the 1st amendment Trump is willing to forgo, if he doesn’t like what people say about him. (Tok tok, enemies list of reporters), and how you all have taken the 2nd amendment and turned “militia”, into hand gun, into assault rifle with extended clip.

4th? Privacy? That left with Bush. (9/11)

Yes, we will remain divided. And we will fix the rules so that every vote counts.......equally.

Sharlee on October 01, 2020:

I am not willing to predict the outcome of an election. Your sentiments are recognizable of the 2016 election. And when it comes to sore losers --- Hillary still holds first place. "She just last week gave Joe her best advice --- "Don't concede under any circumstances." I don't see any problems for the Republican side in regards to accepting the result unless there is evidence of problems counting ballots. However, I do predict much of the same as we had for the last four years if Trump wins. Hypocrisy will prevail. It is well proven with all their ploys for the last four years.

And yes, I agree if Trump has a complaint he will have a route to the SC. And they will have a majority of Constitutionalists that will go by the book.

To me, this election will give proof of what the Majority really feel about moving away from the Constitution. It will truly show the mindset of the country. One way or the other, the country will remain divided.

perrya (author) on September 30, 2020:

Actually none of this matter now, he will lose in Nov. and then we will see just what a sore loser he is and how he will signal to others to protest etc. He will try to drag the Supreme Court and expect them to side with him.

Sharlee on September 30, 2020:

Perrya -- I feel I must correct you in regards to when Ukraine received the Javin system.

May 23, 2018 --"WASHINGTON ― Ukraine tested its new Javelin anti-tank missiles Tuesday for the first time since the United States approved the sale of the weapon system to assist Ukraine’s defenses in its ongoing conflict with pro-Russian separatists."

https://www.defensenews.com/flashpoints/2018/05/23...

The phone call between President Trump and President Zelinsky took place on July 25, 2019. over a year later. https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019...

It was not until Dec of 2019 when the Ukrain ordered more

Javelins .https://www.npr.org/2019/12/27/791660663/ukraine-b...

You would be correct to say Trump had held up Military

aid funds to the Ukrian for some 80 days, and then

released the aid.

Melania Trump has never been to Russia? Trump was there in 2013 for the Miss America pageant. There were no confirmed plans to build a tower in Moscow.

Not sure about your analogy in regards to the EU buying Natural gas from Russia. Trump has admonished the EU for doing just that. Trump certainly wanted Germany and several countries to join in and stop purchasing natural gas. I do not understand why you would feel Trump is easy on Putin. you have pointed out a good example of just how hard Trump has been on Putin. Trump's sanctions are very server on Russia. I provide a link that lists the sanctions and all have a good explanation of what is being sanctioned and one can see how each one is very harsh. It's a shame the general public is unaware of these sanctions... They are factual. And in regard to him perhaps speaking "softly crafted in language". It is clear he uses this form of language when referring to most foreign leaders. he has been asked why he does this --- he explained he needs to have open lines of communications with these leaders, and he would rather be on friendly terms. In my view, this makes good sense. Plus all the blustering words and ultimatums mean nothing when a president does not show the right actions. Most presidents could talk the talk but never walk the walk. Trump takes action when needed. In regard to Trump doing business in Russia. he has no holdings in Russia that were well proven during the Mueller investigations. As well as the Horowitz investigation, It may be time to let that subject go.

perrya (author) on September 30, 2020:

Trump withheld the Javelin missiles sold to the Ukraine for sometime until it Trump was exposed for trying to blackmail Ukraine for making a false comment about Biden. The missiles sold number only 300 or so and 47 launchers, it is a token purchase. Ukraine needed them but were able to defend well without them. Trump and his wife were in Moscow around 2013 or so, found a suitable site for tower and negotiated an initial agreement that would given Putin a presidential suite in the tower free. Putin would not approve the deal. Whenever Trump does speak of Putin or Russia, it is usually softly crafted in language that provides Russia cover and never threatening. The sanctions may hurt Russia but clearly Putin has a workaround with his lucrative deal with the EU and how Russia will provide them with natural gas. Thus, nullifying much of Trump's sanctions. Just like with Iran, that has forced iran into Chinese hands with bailout loans from them in exchange for Chinese intrusion in the middle east. Trump's stupid foreign policy at work.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 29, 2020:

My god. Shameless.

“DNI Ratcliffe on Tuesday declassified a Russian intelligence assessment that was previously rejected by Republicans and Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee as having no factual basis.”

Trump jr retweets it. My god.

“This is Russian disinformation,” Rachel Cohen, a spokeswoman for Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner (D-Va.), wrote on Twitter, adding that it was “laundered by the Director Of National Intelligence and Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

Treason.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 29, 2020:

Oh I got it now.....Trump junior tweeted this

Of course, this needs to be in bold print:

“The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication.”

So.....you believe russian intelligence analysis, I believe our intelligence analysis, as well that of Five Eyes.

I would say game on.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 29, 2020:

3 days ago, you:

“I was wondering if you have read the 87 pages report on the investigation into Hunter Biden”

You started the deflections, just like all of you do to avoid the issue of trump.

It’s called flooding the zone with sh*t, a Steve Bannon directive.

I’m not playing anymore. If you choose to believe rightwing sources, that’s on you. I don’t. Have heard them ALL in my time, and frankly, look at it akin to slasher movies.

I do believe that trump colluded with Putin, and I do believe he’s committing treason against the USA, and all his enablers, as well.

I think he will get off, because Barr is quite experienced in getting Republicans off the hook.

It will never change my mind. And you will never change yours. Just don’t accuse me of that which you do.

I’m happy to discuss Trump. Not going down your path of deflection with Obama, Hillary, Biden, etc.

Putin wanted trump to win. Why he would work with democrats? That’s Qanon talk. Freddie Kruger material if you ask me. Kookooland, demonic territory.

Not to be insulting, but black magic. Reverse good.

Sharlee on September 29, 2020:

Let me remind you I have been discussing all your deflections. Which is impolite to the author of the article. You spin-off in each comment to a new subject. When I provide facts you ignore them and move on to another What If or unproven allegation. Just as you did in your last comment. What if questions... The Dems have you believing all the what-ifs and unproven allegations. You could write a book...

You may need to stop in your tracks and think about what I said.

All your latest questions are once again and ask me to guess... I don't play what-if or guess at what anyone id thinking.

It's clear you dislike Trump. You might want to take a breather and ask yourself why you dislike him. Nothing you have discussed with me hold water.

In regard to presidential material--- I prefer a president that does a good job. Trump has done a wonderful job solving many of out long times problems. And I have to say -- he has done it while dealing with all the unproven allegations you have been lead to believe on face value.

These are the fact --- He never did business with Russia, in 1087 he looked at building a tower in Russia, he did not build it. He owes no money to Putin, there has been no documents or proof of that. He has not sold secrets, no evidence or proof of that. You like if comes... I don',t I like facts, my intelligence can't be bought by unproven rhetoric. I don't join in the group like think. It would make me feel unintelligent to agree with anything that has not been proven to be true.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 29, 2020:

What does this have to do with trump Colluding with Russia? We already know you hate Obama. Duh! Stop obfuscating about trump! Obama is done. Hillary will never be. We are talking about the current pres.

Why does be believe Putin? Why doesn’t he investigate the alleged bounties? Why did he lie about doing business with him? Does he owe him money?

Will he sell secrets to our enemies? He’s 1.1 billion in debt. And, he’s dishonest. You think that prez material? I don’t.

Sharlee on September 29, 2020:

"As one of your links said, Obama thought he was using a better way to defeat ISIS. What was trumps reason?"

Again surprised you would bring this up... Under Obama ISIS was able to infiltrate the Middle East and become a huge army terrorizing the people more than 125 thousand strong. Cutting off heads, you name it. Trump has taken them out, we have no more threat of ISIS. Why Bye Bye? Because we were there to defeat ISIS and did.

One of Trump's promises was to bring our troops home, stay out of wars... Promise kept.

Wars, Obama --- Obama leaves a very different legacy as he prepares to hand his commander-in-chief responsibilities to Donald Trump.

U.S. military forces were at war for all eight years of Obama’s tenure, the first two-term president with that distinction. He launched airstrikes or military raids in at least seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan.

The U.S. faced more threats in more places than at any time since the Cold War,{ according to U.S. intelligence}. For the first time in decades, we were seeing the potential of an armed clash with America’s largest adversaries, Russia and China. Why would you even bring up Obama's foreign policies? He failed in every respect in regards to foreign policy. It is so well documented. But, worry not, Trump has cleaned up Obama's failures.

Sorry for all the links, but facts are the only way I know how to prove how I came about my opinion.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 29, 2020:

As I’ve said before, everyone has an opinion. I, personally, cannot see why we would build a base, staff it, then just wave bye bye for a slaughter of our allies to occur.

As one of your links said, Obama thought he was using a better way to defeat ISIS. What was trumps reason?

As far as the red line, if you recall, there were questions as to who really made that chemical attack, since Assad claims he got rid of his chemical weapons years ago.

And, “former top Obama national security official Derek Chollet outlined the last administration’s reasons for not bombing Syria. “[T]here were many concerns about the danger to American pilots (Syria had one of the most sophisticated air defense networks in the world), as well as the possibility of escalation. Everyone understood the risks,” he wrote. “There was no question the US had the capability to act decisively, but there was deep uncertainty about where military intervention would lead.”

And as Obama himself said in an April 2016 interview with Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic, attacking Syria might eventually force America’s long-term involvement in the civil war. That made him hesitant to intervene.“

https://www.vox.com/2018/4/15/17238568/syria-bomb-...

Don’t you trump supporters say one of the reasons you like trump is he wants out of these wars? But, when Obama does, you malign him for it?

No surprise. When Iraq came around, you all were gung- ho to go. As SOON as Obama got in, it was “we’ve had enough war”.

So transparently partisan. On every single issue!

Sharlee on September 29, 2020:

Leslie, you need to do a bit of research in regards to how loved Erdogan. My one would never think you would even bring this up? So many Kurds died due to Obama's... This was very sad, as well as the 500 thousand Syrians that perished in Syria due to Obama's "red line"... Why not learn just a bit of what you speak?

https://www.counterpunch.org/2015/07/29/the-politi...

Trump armed Ukraine to aid the country's ability to protect itself from Russia, Something Obama would not do. And we all know hundreds of thousands were killed due to Obama not helping the Ukrain by supplying weaponry --- Fact

https://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/washi...

Trump did consider building in Russia back in 1987, and he approached the idea of building a tower in 2005. He never pushed ahead with his plan --- Trump was never able to successfully conclude any real estate deals in Russia. Fact

Not sure why anyone would grasp on to all of these false reports. You seem to be basing your opinion of Trump on perhaps media opinion reports that held no sources or proven facts. Trump's actions speak loudly just due to facts.

Facts matter... Sad to see you don't consider facts over words.

Sharlee on September 29, 2020:

Leslie, I must ask where in the world did you get the idea that the President did this ---

"Working for all the people, by taking away rights from women, trans, and gays....under the guise of “religious freedom”."

I would suggest once again you add a link with a fact or two. Exactly how and when did he take any right from women, transgender, or gays? I am still waiting for the source that proves your allegation in regard to this statement.

""“Let’s do this again. Duetche Bank loaned Trump lots of $$$. Putin bought his debt. Thus Putin owns Trump.“

It's clear you have no real evidence to back up anything you say or believe. You seem to have a real problem staying on the subject?

perrya (author) on September 29, 2020:

@Sharlee who is no doubt like many of my Trumper friends who simply look the other way when it comes to Trump. Trump is soft on Russia and you know it. Despite sanctions, he admires and emulates Putin. He has publicly said so. Trump went to Moscow before 2016 with his wife to find a suitable site for a Tower. They entered into preliminary contracts for a deal and Putin nixed it. As president, with his business and desires in mind, he soft plays Putin and ignores Russian aggression in the skies and in Syria against US troops. He has said nothing about Putin targeting US troops with a bounty. He disbelieves there is Russian interference in the election now and then despite what his intelligence tells him. Whatever Trump does against Russia is political in this election year. Trump spreads some of the same conspiracy theories promoted by Russia. All this soft approach is for one reason: Trump would love to have a tower in Moscow still and he does not want to anger Putin too much because Trump knows he will not be president forever and while in the WH, he uses it to promote his business. Trumpers simply ignore this and say, What's the problem? The issue is that Trump is POTUS, not a private businessman as he was and there are laws that reign in how a POTUS should act.

Working for all the people, by taking away rights from women, trans, and gays....under the guise of “religious freedom”.......

Clap clap clap....

I have news for you. We will never allow a church/state here. Move to Saudi Arabia or Iran, if that’s what you desire.

Thank you.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

I note that you have made mention that you feel Trump is soft on Putin. I reread your article, thinking I missed something on that subject. But found nothing of why you feel Trump had been soft on Putin.

Could you tell what actions you feel Trump was soft on Putin? I have not come up with any real factual actions that Trump took to favor Russia, in fact, he has very stiff sanctions on them. I did find a link showing all the many sanctions and actions Trump has taken against Russia. It well appears there has been no president as rough on Russia in regards to actual punishing sanctions. I think you may find the link informative to what Trump has actually done in regards to Russia. I am aware that Trump has many businesses all over the world, and that he does earn money from buildings using his name. He has no businesses in Russia. Seems fair that you should have a look at what Trump has actually done in regard to Russia. Much of the time media don't report important information. But it's there on only need look.

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/order-from-chaos/20...

perrya (author) on September 28, 2020:

As far as the topic in the heading, Trump's taxes are showing why there is a strong possibility that Trump is soft on Putin for a reason. Trump and family have received millions from both the Philippines and Turkey. With Turkey, some $13 million for using his name on Trump Tower there and similar to the latest tower in the Philippines. Trump is soft on Erdogan and Putin and Duerte because obviously of his branding of towers etc. that he has had built. This is why he continues to soft on Putin, his hopes of building a tower in Moscow is well documented. It is easy to connect the dots.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

I respect your right to your view about Trump taking a salary. I don't understand it, but you have a right to it.

As I said I do not support abortion in any nation, . However, I have no means to change the laws in Israel, now do I. here, well to use one of your favorite words, maybe... With the new Supreme Court configuration and one more wonderful conservative --- well could finally happen.

It is obvious Trump dislikes the Dems ideologies, no arguing that, he has been very transparent in that regard. I also dislike what the Dem party promote, and how they handle themselves. I have no respect for their leftist agenda or how they conduct themselves in Washington. I have heard Trump say continuously he represents all the people. As I have watched him, and many of the actions he has taken, I believe he means what he said in regards to working for all of us. I have not played into the negative these past four years, I have watched and enjoyed the positive he has accomplished.

It's clear that Dems want him out, I don't blame them. he has made so many in Washington appear foolish, just by making all his accomplishments look very easy. leaves us thinking, why have we not seen this kind of problem-solving before. While the Dems were causing a divide, Trump went about doing a positive job for all American's. And they noticed. Those that did not notice, would have never noticed. And I will be kind, and not say why they did not take notice.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 28, 2020:

Lol. But Israel allows abortion! Do you mean to say you would outlaw it for American women, while still sending supportIng for Israel? Odd set of values.

And I realize Trump is beholden to you. Me, he calls a baby executioner who doesn’t love America.

He has made it known his contempt for democrats.

As have you and your party.

And, like I said, I want him accepting pay for his job......otherwise, he has no obligation to do it for me.

That is my view.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Israel? I would rather look at a positive accomplishment by Trump with the new peace accord. It is a good step toward peace in a region that has been warring for many decades. Their abortion laws concern me as much as ours... Not sure why you bring up Israel? It is clear you don't even realize Israel is one of our allies. It would appear you hope that changes?

It's obvious you have a very different opinion on just about everything ... LOL. I will be polite and step away from this conversation.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

He took an oath and is beholden to me due to that oath. I think it a nice gesture that he donate gis salary. It would seem you can justify bashing Trump even for something positive. That alone should make you pause, and think...

Oh I do disagree with the tax laws. And i don’t want a president who abuses them.

It’s not a law to give to charity, either, but Biden gave 1 million.

Trump gave zero.

Can I choose who I want for president?

Just FYI, I don’t want people foregoing their salaries. That means they don’t work for me. If I dont pay you, Why should you care about me? But, the 82 million they made was paid by someone.....that’s who they work for, imo.

Same goes for president. He should take the salary, so he’s beholden to us. You are beholden to those that pay you. Are you not?

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie, I think I will let you off the hook, your comments have become a bit odd --- Haircut, John Edwards, assaulting people, and tan suits... You need to move on. Oh in regards to Trump's stand on abortion, I respect life. Totally.

And so do millions of others... Hopefully, the new SC judge will protect the unborn life. That alone makes me so pleased I supported Trump.

Have a good day... Facts matter so does thought process.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie --- Your comment "“Let me know if you have a business that pays your daughter as a W-2 employee and then pays her as a consultant through a separate LLC after taking a billion-dollar tax loss in advance.“

All legal, sorry but you need only do a bit of research. Perhaps you should be displeased with the tax laws, not the people that take advantage of them. Seems you must have a very simple tax situation. Lots of loopholes, just a fact.

Ivanka was not only executive vice president of the family-owned Trump Organization but a consultant to many in the organization. As I mentioned President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who serves as Advisor to the President, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who serves as Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, each forgoes their White House salaries.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

MG, Yes, It is obvious Trump has not been charged with any form of tax evasion. His attorney was called by the NYT and he told them the story was full of inaccuracies., and that Trump had paid ten's of millions in taxes.

Source NBC News --- In a statement to NBC News, a Trump Organization lawyer, Alan Garten, claimed that the story was "riddled with gross inaccuracies."

"Over the past decade the President has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government," Garten said.

The president once again claimed he would show his taxes once the audit was done. The IRS has confirmed he is and has been under a lengthy audit. I would think so far fact show Trump has not broken any tax laws. Sad to see him attacked without any proof of any form of crime. I would think his finance are his own business unless he has committed a crime. Trump should be afforded the same rights we all have in regards to his taxes, they are private unless the IRS sees a problem. So discouraged to see so many are hell-bent to accuse this man of crimes without cause. In my view this is disgusting.

Proof, please. I prefer to work from first that mistruth. I see you dancing as fast as you can, but I don't play the flip the subject quickly game. Back up --- offer a resource on Putin buying Trump's debt.

Otherwise, I am not wasting my time with a conversation that is just you bashing Trump without facts.

Talking about tax and other things about Donald Trump is just beating about the bush. Everybody tries to save taxes I also do it, so why make an issue out of it. What is more important is what sort of leadership a man is going to give. Great leaders of world history had so many faults, look at Stalin, Churchill or Roosevelt. Biden doesn't inspire confidence. With a resurgent China you need a strong man and decisive leadership anybody feels that Biden can give that?

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie, I must laugh --- lots of maybe's in there... I believe the judge's words over all. I believe no ticketing for the accident. yeah, I believe the judge.

"So, the family accepted Bidens apology, but you bring it up now as a means of assassinating his character...."

let me point something out that I consider unhealthy -- You insult Trump without a problem, actually with no facts to back up your insult. , a picture, a MeMe. I have just as much right to point out some facts I dug up on a candidate for president. Not Maybe's, facts.

Your thought prosses is hypocritical. You are more or less saying to me ---- It's alright for me to say anything, but not you.

I would not have posted how Biden lied about his wife's death if I could not back it up with some facts. That's the difference between our thought prosses. You grab on to maybe's, what if's, and run with it. I don't.

You still have not added a link to where you got your belief that Putin bought Trump's loans from a German bank. Maybe we need to return to your first allegation before moving on to all kinds of crazy.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 28, 2020:

I’ll tell you what....God save us from religion.

“Maybe Biden was merely passing along rumors he had heard from investigators and others. A now-dead emergency worker who was on the scene that day suggested as much after seeing the CBS report.

Or maybe Biden was engaging in what grief expert Rob Zucker described to me as “a retelling of the horror.” It’s something people sometimes do, he said, tweaking facts, shifting blame, if nothing else to make the grief more “palatable.”

Hamill said Biden called her after the CBS report. “He apologized for hurting my family in any way,” she said. “So we accepted that—and kind of end of story from there.”

******

So, the family accepted Bidens apology, but you bring it up now as a means of assassinating his character....

After all of trumps character flaws, which you say mean nothing to you.....

And we are supposed to give credence to the character assassination of a man who grieved the death of his wife and daughter, and who apologized for causing that man’s family harm?

Will you apologize to Biden? You should.

Deplorable.

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie. There is a difference between the two reports, Joe Biden lied about his wife's death. The actual judge that handled the accident has given the truth about the accident. It's a case of Biden just openly lying about a tragic accident. I offered you sources, all you need do is read them.

I made no reference in this conversation to my religion. I expressed I came to my view via research.

Religion need not be entered into this conversation. And it is clear you don't want to delve into a character assassination about anyone but one man --- Trump. Very hypocritical I would think... It is apparent you unwilling to look at Biden's horrific character. So many ugly facts follow this man.

Christians are known to defend truth, to tell the truth, and not to slander others with lies. Facts should matter...Evil only grows with lies and within those that spread lies.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 28, 2020:

I do not care To delve into your character assassination, just as I did not indulge the “Laura Bush killed her ex boyfriend, and married Bush to take the heat off”Campaign against her.

Leave it to people calling themselves Christian to do such unchristian like things.

But, since the Bible is their guide.....do they know who “liar, and father of it” is?

lol of lies floating around.....over 20,000 since Election Day.

Something to keep in mind, since religion must be front and center these days.

What is this special “scam”?

As for Trump /Russia,

https://forensicnews.net/2020/01/03/trump-deutsche...

Lot of it is speculation, but I do find it a strange coincidence that Broeksmit committed suicide, and now we have Parscale in the hospital for the same thing.

We also don’t know who paid Kavanaugh’s debts, Or why Kennedy retired, as his son was Trumps banker.

Too many connections that you are willing to dismiss.....and the biggest thing I cannot ever understand, how you all are ok with “Russia, if you’re listening”.

I’m quite positive, if Hillary had said, “Iran, if you’re listening”.....we would STILL be in congressional hearings.

"“Let’s do this again. Duetche Bank loaned Trump lots of $$$. Putin bought his debt. Thus Putin owns Trump.“

Still waiting for your link on this allegation...

Also noted you did not address the lie Biden has been perpetrating that a drunk killed his wife.

I can see you do little to no research but depend on headlines, and blurbs. Not much point in conversing. I like facts, just don't grasp onto headlines and opinion pieces.

To become educated in the subject of this article read the Mueller report, it is long but will educate you to speak on the subject.

What scams?

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie, Two photos? This seems odd... You do know Trump and Putin have been at several summits of world leaders??? I could provide many photos of Obama and Biden with Putin and Russian ambassadors. Is this what you base your facts on? Read the Mueller report for facts if you want to educate yourself on Russia and any doings with Trump. There were none, just a fact.

“Let’s do this again. Duetche Bank loaned Trump lots of $$$. Putin bought his debt. Thus Putin owns Trump.“

I will be glad to address this if you submit a link to this allegation with facts on the allegation. There is no factual information that Putin bought Trump's debt.

It seems you do little research other than blurbs and photos.

This is not the best way to discuss any subject. I deal in facts not what someone chooses to believe without facts to argue their view. Please provide a link with facts, not just a photo of two men shaking hands at a world summit.

I will be glad to move on to the Russian collusion by offering the Mueller report. The report is online, and your accusation comes from opinion pieces that bare no facts.

"“Let’s do this again. Duetche Bank loaned Trump lots of $$$. Putin bought his debt. Thus Putin owns Trump.“

Please post a source for this allegation, not an opinion, but facts on the allegation. Just the right thing to do.

Could you offer a source for your blurb? Fact --- Not sure where you would find factual private tax information on this couple. Please provide a link.

fact -- "President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who serves as Advisor to the President, and her husband, Jared Kushner, who serves as Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor, each forgo their White House salaries."

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

Leslie, A MeMe? At any rate, Ivanka and her husband actually work and have experienced at their jobs. Both working for what they were paid. Hunter actually has no experience in gas companies or Banking. No one will ever know what he did to obtain millions from the foreign countries involved in his and his father's scams. The only facts we have in regard to Hunter is a factual money trail. Ivanka and her husband, have worked for their cash and can prove how they earned their funds.

Facts matter, MeMe not so much... Do you believe all blurbs or do you look into allegations thoroughly or just run with them?

Could you offer a source for the blurb?

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

I see we have strayed off the subject. Have you researched the report that Biden lied about his wife's death? He claimed a drunk driver killed her and his daughter. The truth is his wife ran a stop sign, and the other driver was not in fault and had no alcohol in his system. This in my opinion is a vile lie that Joe used to campaign on... A disgusting lie. Have you really looked into Biden's past, it is horrific.

I must ask --- Do you consider yourself completely indoctrinated to vote for a man that would lie about his wife's death? This lie served to truly hurt others and he just used the story to the campaign

Sharlee on September 28, 2020:

The president has not been charged with breaking any tax laws. I would think he took advantage of laws that provide him with many loopholes. I myself take advantage of tax laws, don't you?

It would appear you feel he should just step up and tell his tax attornies to pay money not owed? I am not sure but I would surmise many very wealthy don't pay more than they are required to. Don't blame Trump for not paying taxes, blame your past lawmakers for setting it all up so he did not have to.

Seems you are ready to blame the wrong person.

I can see why you would be upset by this story, but point the blame at who really caused the problem. Just common sense.

perrya (author) on September 28, 2020:

@MG Trump is a shade better than Biden? Tax evasion by Trump and with millions in debt that he is personally responsible for is NOT better in any way. How any Trumper can still support this con man is nothing more than complete indoctrination.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 28, 2020:

Lookin at all the Trump supporters....

Greg Olear:

“Sure, Trump is a phony billionaire & tax cheat, 100s of millions of $ in debt, kept afloat by bamboozling the American taxpayer & laundering money for the Russians, who engaged in fraud to siphon $$$ to his adult kids...but did you know Hunter Biden once had a job IN UKRAINE?“

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 27, 2020:

Everyone has opinions. I certainly don't want Trump there another minute, let alone 4 more years. And you’re right Perry, while Cohen was working on the Trump Tower Moscow deal, trump was telling us he had nothing to do with Russia.

How much more do you need than, “Russia if you’re listening”??

MG Singh emge from Singapore on September 27, 2020:

Sometimes I wonder whether you have a Russian phobia or obsession. I will leave it at that but don't see the devil everywhere and Biden is just NOT the man to lead America. Maybe Trump is not that good either but he is a shade better than Biden.

perrya (author) on September 27, 2020:

The recent final report on the Biden -Ukraine relationship said there was nothing done illegally. Joe Biden did nothing wrong. If his son is given X amount of dollars to be on a board that he did little with because he was the son of then VP, that is a business relationship. It did look bad bad that was all. Hunter had zero influence on BP biden. VP biden was just following obama's instructions. Lets not forget that in 2013 or so, Trump and wife went to Moscow to search for a site for a Trump tower deal that was nixed by Putin. Trump's desire to have a tower in Moscow is one reason why he loves Putin.

Sharlee on September 26, 2020:

The democrats have never come close to proving any of their conspiracies. There is an abundance of proof of what the Obama administration tried to pull off in the last election. From the FBI, CIA, and Obama and Biden, all were involved with the dossier and framing

Flynn, and so much more. So many documents have come out that proved what they were up to. Facts, not media reports that held no real facts. In my view, Obama and Biden are great embracements to the country. Sneaky Crooks...

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 26, 2020:

And, what did hunter do that affects the USA? Remind me again. Cause I know what Trump did. You know.....the current president.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 26, 2020:

I thought you were accusing Hunter. Now it’s joe? And you would have known about Perry if you truly cared about corruption.

It’s obvious your care centers on democrats, not republicans.

Partisan justice. What else is new?

Sharlee on September 26, 2020:

Your research appears to prove Joe and his son are in good company when it comes to corruption. Never realized Perry was involved with anyone in Ukraine. Looks like politicians can score big as Hunter and Joe did.

Bit it does make one think will Joe once again pad his bank account with money from foreign countries, like China, Ukraine, you name it.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 26, 2020:

And, since we know how Repubs operate....

“Johnson’s allegations against the Bidens in the report mirror those pushed by Andriy Derkach, a pro-Russia Ukranian lawmaker who has been sanctioned by the Treasury Department and classified as a Russian agent. Derkach “sent packets of information about Biden to Johnson and other Trump allies on Capitol Hill.” Further, Cheney and Desiderio write that some of Johnson’s fellow Republicans, including Sen. Mitt Romney, have criticized the probe.

Senate Democrats also released a rebuttal report to Johnson and Grassley’s findings, titled “Election Interference: Majority Investigation Amplifies Russian Attack on 2020 Election.” Sens. Gary Peters and Ron Wyden accused their Republican colleagues of pushing Russian disinformation in order to assist the reelection campaign of President Trump and found that the GOP-led report on Biden and Ukraine cited discredited allegations as facts. “

********

I will not take anything from republicans at face value.

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 26, 2020:

And, since you’re so concerned, maybe we should look into this?

“Amos Hochstein, a member of the supervisory board at the state-owned Ukrainian energy firm Naftogaz, told lawmakers that Perry "inappropriately pressured the Ukrainian government" to place Texas oil executive Robert Bensh on the board of the company while officials at the Department of Energy pressured the government to sign a deal with a "private business entity connected to Mr. Bensh," according to a letter Wyden sent to Department of Energy Inspector General Teri Donaldson.

Perry also pressured the Ukrainian government to place one of his longtime campaign supporters, Michael Bleyzer, on the board during a trip to Ukraine for President Volodymyr Zelensky's inauguration in 2019. Bleyzer and his partner were later awarded a drilling contract in the country.“

*******

Wasn’t Perry actually IN GVT at the time???

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on September 26, 2020:

Really? As if other politicians kids don’t do business with foreign business people.....you don’t say.

Shall we look into the trump kids? Good grief, you’d find plenty.

So, what damage to the United States did hunter’s loan have?

Anything like stealing an election, or what?

Sharlee on September 26, 2020:

I was wondering if you have read the 87 pages report on the investigation into Hunter Biden and his actual connection to the Mayor of Moscow's wife. Financial records show him receiving 3.5 million from this woman. You may want to look into some real Russian collusion. Hunter Biden, and his Dad...Much of your article can not be substantiated with facts. I would suppose it was an opinion piece.
