An Underclass View of GOP vs Tea Party

Tea Party vs GOP for 2nd Place

All the news distracts us from seeing the real problems and solutions. That kind of influence is very costly, only Wall Street and associates can afford such an illusion.) I didn’t realize at that time that the illusion had already begun with the creation of the Tea Party. Last year this time hub pages the TV and Internet news was all about, Democrats vs. Republican leadership. The Republicans had had 8 years to drive the country in a ditch. The Republicans were looking unelectable and the Democrats were poised to win again in the 2010 mid-term election.

The Purchase of the Great Illusion:

The American people for years have wished for a third party to give them another choice other than Democrats and Republicans. Right Winged Conservatives knowing they couldn’t win with the Republican brand bought and paid for a clone of the Republican Party. This third party calls itself The Tea Party. The American people for the first time had a party that could challenge the two major parties. The Tea Party had a job to do quickly, before the mid-term elections. Their job was to attack Republicans and Democrats and show no mercy. With all the influence and exposure money could buy, that’s exactly what the Tea Party did attack Washington Politics. Soon they were able to lump Republicans and Democrats together as the cause of the Nation’s debt problems. On TV and Internet news, the chatter gradually changed to get rid of Republicans and Democrats replaced them with Tea Party Candidates. The Tea Party’s was to stop the spending (defund the government), and reform entitlements and cut the national debt; jobs also had an honorable mention. They argued that the government should run on the same economical principles as the average tax payer’s household. With the influential power of money, the Republican Party through its Step child, the Tea Party, served the people kool-aid and hogwash.

A brilliant and well financed plan:

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on the Tea Party, I’m just expressing what I observed over the last year. In 2008 there were 2 major political parties. In2010 there were 3 major political parties. Prior to 2010 I don’t think that there were ever 3 major parties. It happened so quickly. The Tea Party had no growing pains; it went from birth to maturity in months. The cost to bring a political party from concept to political power in 2 years is unmentionable. In the Congress of the United States there are over 80 Tea Party-Republicans. They pledged an allegiance not to use reason and not under any circumstances vote certain ways. They say they were sent by THE PEOPLE to do their will. My hat’s off to the Republican Party for creating a Republican seal team to attack the President and the Democrats while faking an attack on the Republican Brand. It worked brilliantly and the speaker of the house got 98% of what he wanted, he said.

The Tea party could turn out to be the Republican’s Trojan Horse or pain in the neck. They were not elected for brain power, but for obedience. They can’t be sent home after use like the people that came in buses, planes, cars, and trains during election season. The Tea Party freshmen feel empowered and know there is power in their numbers. They are trained to attack Republicans also and like people look out for each other. They also know in order for them to be vested in their congressional pension they must serve at least 5 years. They will fight to not be 1 term Congressman or women. The democrats have had to live with yellow and blue dog mess in their house for years. Now the Republicans may have dog mess that may prevent republican lock steps, it looks like it may be a 2 step. President Obama must have a good end game.

It was a good first year with Hub Pages, I wasn’t bored.

Now that Trump is President what are the chances the Republicans can get their party back from The Tea Party that took it over 6 years ago? Today it is called The Conservative Party. Liberal Republicans will have to vote Democrat along with the other minorities.

Yes Larry , the chickens has come has to roost . Karma is payback and there is more to come for The Grand Old Party. Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

junko (author) on March 28, 2015:

Thanks for the comment David. Out of the confusion and obstruction caused by the tea party the republicans can win the white house and have complete control in 2016. We can't underestimate the power of the Tea Party and their attempts to void underclass voting rights.

David Adam on March 25, 2015:

The competition for control of the GOP has not been settled and it is less than two years before the 2016 elections. The Trojan Horse has unleashed obstruction on the GOP and the Dems.

I enjoyed reading your article. It was very interesting and thought provoking.

thanks for the comment J Solider, I'm glad you like what you read. The attack started after the nomination of the president. The speech that he plans to deliver next month has been attacked and rejected before its creation,by the Republican leadership on Capitol Hill.

Attack any and everything the President want to do and don't support him come hell or high waters.

Congratulations on your 1st year junko! You have enlighten us on many issues with your hub pages. We were able to understand from an "underclass view" many things that the media were not able to relay to the public. It is said that "the people love a lie" but you have brought forth some truth in your hubs about life and politics. I have enjoyed reading your hubs and look forward to what the next year will bring.

Thanks for talking, Mary. I don't know what to say. The damage has begun and time will tell the degree of hell the people will suffer.

Mary Wells on August 10, 2011:

Junko, The Tea party as you said was created by right winged conservatives. I don't know what their creation will destroy besides the President and the Economy. May God have mercy on us all.

junko (author) on August 08, 2011:

Thanks for the encouragement, A Laners. Now they have painted themselves in a corner and can't stay there until 2012. They must now walk and talk like adults after being so childish the last two1/2 years. The tea party's chickens has come home. The party of no must say yes they can... compromise.

junko (author) on August 07, 2011:

Justsilvie, Thanks for stopping by and commenting. AS i read your comment the words' " We wrestle not against flesh and blood" came to my mind. There is evil in high places. THE CREATOR has a MASTER PLAN and faith and fear don't mix. You are blessed, already.

Justsilvie on August 07, 2011:

Interesting reading Junko and congratulations on the one year. Look forward to reading more.

The more I read and watch the actions of the Tea Party the more it reminds me of German Pre-war History. The mentality and the actions are a lot alike. We should all be scared, because it takes only a handful of people to change a countries path and history. The masses are easily swayed as we have seen in the past.

credence2 on August 06, 2011:

Hi, Junko, if it was drive by, he was shooting blanks. These people are so ugly and reason like rabid dogs, I fear for the future of our country in their hands. This particular character I have not seen before. Thanks for the moral support. I make the mistake of thinking that I could really reason with the otherside, but they are so tied to their dogma, they won't see the forest for the trees. Thanks again.

junko (author) on August 06, 2011:

Credence2, It looks like American Romance just did a Drive-By. It don't look like the brother from the far right want to respond to either of us. Have you ever had any crossed words with the young man? Thanks anyway, for dropping in and commenting.

Credence2 from Florida (Space Coast) on August 05, 2011:

Ok AR, you said:

When he left office unemployment was under 6%???

Right, 4 months after the disasterous meltdown in Sept 2008, his policies left a time bomb that certainly was not going to have its effect until after he had conveniently left office and not have to be held responsible. You do recall the recession and the initial solution being the infusion of large amounts of public funds into the economy, did not Bush authorize this?

You will need to prove the fact that Obama has spent disproportionatly compared to his predecessor. We are all against strident spending in Washington, but a rightwing solution and approach to correcting it is not acceptable. The Tea Party is composed of mostly rightwing ideologues, who seem to think that the compromise is capitulation. Well, I say we cut and raise revunues fairly across the board. What are you problems with that?

junko (author) on August 05, 2011:

American Romance, You were my first commenter a year ago. Your comments are welcome on any of my post.I'll try to answer your post about obedience. In my family we consider ourselves liberals and vote Democrat. In our personal lives we are conservative about many things we say in do. I'm sure you are liberal about many thing you say or do also. I don't believe that there is a conservative or liberal that is 100% pure. I believe that If law makers were sent to do the conservative's or liberal's will, in a obedient manner. It could be considered a conspiracy and not service to all the people that elected them. The Tea Party law makers pledge to do certain things to and about certain people. That obedience could be considered an unlawful conspiracy. AR It sound like you are hating on the President. I think he has had to pay bills just like you. I think he knows as much as you about the working of the economy. I hope I have impressed upon you the importance of our law makers being free and capable to use reason in the congress of our Nation

American Romance from America on August 05, 2011:

Credence, While Bush was on his spending spree the tea partiers were becoming more and more dismayed at govt, I believe they began to gather then, I love all you liberals saying Bush ran this country into the ground? When he left office unemployment was under 6%??? he spent but mainly on wars and prescription programs, Your president spent 1 TRILLION dollars overnight! His health care program means he spent more than every president combined over the last 235 years! ....SO? bottom line is if any of you hated the spending of Bush, Then you MUST be sick to your stomachs over Obama! I would think this would give all of you the will and desire to join the tea party! Stop listening to rhetoric and falling into that mob mentality! The Tea Party is made up of more independents than anything else! Be a part of the solution instead of talking trash against honest Americans trying to save your sorry skins!

Credence2 from Florida (Space Coast) on August 04, 2011:

Is it a coincidence that this Tea Party emergence coincides with the Obama administration? Where were all these people when Bush ran the economy into the ground and was spending like a drunken sailor on liberty? I recommend that your previous poster, American Romance have a look at

for an examination of the correlation between having experience running a business and having qualifications for president.

Voted up....

American Romance from America on August 04, 2011:

You said those placed by the tea party were to be obedient?..........I thought ALL government was supposed to be voted in for this reason? The problem is they claim to be willing to vote OUR will then get in office and change for power and money! The Tea Party candidates have held their own for once in history! voting the WILL of the American people who know better and live the lives most politicians claim to know something about! Obama has never paid bills nor owned or worked at a true profit business! He has no clue as to employee problems, regulations, taxes, raw materials, shipping, equipment, property purchases, warehouses, trucking, selling, marketing, etc etc! We the people from all walks have gathered to say ENOUGH! We have bonded as peaceful, logical citizens (unlike unruly and violent union liberal mobs) to gather those who claim to have true morality and integrity that we may rely on them to change our country BACK to its former greatness!

leomtac from Washington State on August 04, 2011:

I will dare to be the first Junko to say (Hurrah)! Bravo to you for explaining the truth with truth.Behold I say that we should not at this juncture overlook the fact that together the republican party and the tea party has one goal and that is as they are showing, to hurt the presidency of Barak Obama and to assure if they are able

that he is A one term president. (Wake Up People)!.

50 Caliber from Arizona on August 04, 2011:

It'll be interesting to see your 2012 hub of the end of the month November! congrats on a year, dust

Howard Schneider from Parsippany, New Jersey on August 04, 2011:

Congratulations on 1 year Junko. I am hoping that the Tea Party is revealed to be the vile arm of Corporate America that they are. That way 2012 will be a drubbing for them and their final year on our political scene of any consequence.
