Achievements Of President Donald J. Trump (2016-2020)

Author served in the legal, corrections system in Utah for over eight years, and in private and federal service also, before his retirement.

What did President Donald J.Trump achieve in his first four years (aside from angering some folks that he even won the presidency)?

President Donald J. Trump (2016-2020)

Most recently the president introduced his $500 billion Platinum Program to benefit our nation's Black members with jobs, loans, educational opportunities. and more.

He made the Veterans Administration into a VA that works more efficiently and completely to care for our nation's veterans. And he visits our injured military with no fanfare.

He acknowledges the Lord, and insured that family's can inherit the family farm.

He signed the "Born Alive" Exercutive Order requiring medical care for babies born alive, even from failed attempts to abort them. (Is not all life precious?)

He protects our babies and provided for three months of paid maternity leave.

He rid our troops of the awful Rules Of Engagement Obama put in place, and allowed our military to greatly reduce the ISIS Caliphate.

He increased, and is now restoring American jobs.

He has nominated and the Senate has confirmed more conservative judges.

He has brought our hostages home, over 40 Americans held captive, a recent one freed from Iran.

He signed the Hyde Amendment.

He has promoted School Choice.

He has led America to its only energy independence.

Unlike other presidents, President Trump has kept his campaign promises.

He is pro-life.

He is building the wall, stopping and deporting MS13, and reducing illegal immigration.

He is fighting for all of us, Black, Latino, Caucasian, Asian, Native American, Indian….all, and by Executive Order he established the National Garden of American Heroes, heroes from every race, sex, age, and color.

He is bringing American industries back to America.

He authorized the United States Space Force.

He is working to eliminate any dependence on other countries for America’s basic needs.

He works for America for free, and more hours a day than any other president.

He hasn’t charged taxpayers for expensive, exotic vacations.

He has stopped America from being the world's piggy bank and baby sitter.

He brought to light much of the evil that had been and still is going on.

He brought the price down on our diabetics’ life-saving insulin prescriptions.

He has made experimental medicines available for terminally ill patients.

He has lowered our taxes and instituted key financial reforms.

He has stood up against the Main Street Media, their lies, and unlabeled opinions.

He cut the Corporate Tax Rate from 35 percent to 21 percent.

He is the first American president to speak at a pro-life rally.

Unlike other political promisers, he actually put our American Embassy in Jerusalem.

He withstood an impeachment sham fostered by his opponents.

He welcomed and approved Opportunity Zones in low income areas.

His economy brought every group's unemployment to all-time lows.

He acted, against criticism, to limit the influx of COVID-19 into America.

He nominated Constitutional jurists, and established Constitution Day.

He authorized America’s military to search out and destroy key terrorists.

He promoted and signed legislation to reduce America’s prison populations.

He acted promptly to protect federal property and our national heritage.

He repeatedly consoled grieving families who lost loved ones.

He publicly displayed his deep devotion to law enforcers and the Rule of Law.

He removed the US from the Paris Climate Accord which would have stifled economic growth while doing too little to actually control the global warming crisis.

He negotiated and signed fairer trade agreements with Canada and Mexico.

He eliminated the moronic penalty for not having Obamacare insurance.

He never became "one of those" politicians.

He kept America out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership in favor of one-on-one more favorable agreements.

He withdrew the U. S. A. from the time-limited Iran Nuclear Agreement.

He punished Syria for its use of chemical weapons.

He told Communist China that America will not sign unfair trade agreements.

He moved to protect Americans’ intellectual property and patent rights.

He fully supported the democratic movement in socialist Venezuela.

He strengthened The Ukraine’s ability to defend itself from pro-Russian separatists and from Russia itself.

He led the effort to deal with child traffickers and white slavery criminals and gangs.

He boosted low interest loans for small businesses hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He worked directly to strengthen economic relations with India, and our other trading partners.

He successfully negotiated the Abraham Accords and hosted their signing on 9/15/2020.

He had his administration work tirelessly to protect America’s farmers in world markets.

He became close to many world leaders just as he did with Boris Johnson of Great Britain.

He was the inspiration for greater populism in the world.

He enacted the Child Trafficking Initiative.

He signed the most sweeping military pay raise of the previous 10 years, and made it possible for veterans to get timely medical care, even from outside care givers.

He led us to our nation’s energy independence.

He fired a corrupt Director of the FBI, and replaced other ineffective appointees.

He made cruelty to animals a felony crime.

He signed a law ending the gag-order on pharmacists that had previously prevented them from sharing money-saving options on prescriptions.

He signed the Save Our Seas Act, which funds $10 million per year to clean tons of plastic and garbage from the ocean (Even though China and other Asian countries are responsible for 80% of it.)

He signed legislation requiring airports to provide breast-feeding stations for nursing mothers.

He signed the biggest wilderness protection and conservation bill in a decade, designating 375,000 acres as protected land.

He had no problem making a gay man our Ambassador to Germany, and then asked him to clean up national security and declassify as much as possible for greater transparency.

He kept almost every campaign promise (with near zero support from Congress which worked against him daily!) and 100 more promises because Washington was much more broken and corrupt than he had thought.

He worked for free, donating his salary to different charities and deserving departments.

He did more for black prosperity than any other president since Abe Lincoln.

He promoted prison reform, to give people a second chance making a remarkable difference for our black communities.

He constantly shows that he loves our American flag and our country.

He has worked to end wars, and bring our soldiers home, becoming the Peacemaker President.

He has proven he was right about the Deep State which had spied on him and his campaign.

He has been making other United Nations member countries fund their own security.

He has shown his willingness to negotiate with anyone for America’s benefit and security.

It will be shown that, in contrast to other officials, he was a billionaire before he ran for the presidency and now is worth at least 1/3 less... because he loves America that much.

He has been nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize.

He is a fighter for the people, the unborn, religious freedom, and the rule of law.

He led America to the greatest economy the world has ever known and worked to restore it.

He is defunding Planned Parenthood’s sinful activities of abortions and fetus organ sales.

He’s not just all talk.

He follows through with what he says he’s going to do.

He keeps Americans updated on things and tells it like it is.

He makes himself accessible to the people.

He has not let Washington turn him into a politician.

He is transforming Washington, D.C., and many of today’s young legislators are learning from him, so when he is gone, Americans can only hope they will carry on his fight for the American people.

He continues our efforts to bring home remains of our missing service men and women for family closure.

He is pro-guns for defense and sport, with stern penalties for offenders using guns for crime.

He made Congress fix Obamacare so it is even better insurance now, and took away the penalty for not having it.

He increased the income limit for and the amount of Earned Income Credit for households.

He increased the child tax credit.

He consolidated some government departments to reduce government costs.

He signed legislation to make sure children are placed with family or people they know over being in the foster system or adopted out overly quickly.

He has demonstrated his personal compassion for others, just as he did when he invited Holocaust survivors to tour the White House, or when he personally paid off a desperate mother's mortgage.

He has worked consistently with Black Coalition members, and with state governors and legislators.

It could just be that President Trump accomplished eight years’ work in those four years.

Is it really any wonder that at the end of one of President Trump’s days he looks as tired as many of us do?

And, you can almost bet that his day isn’t over yet, nor in another four years, if Americans vote for him.

The time to vote is rolling around again. Just do it!

The time to vote is rolling around again. Just do it!

Thanks to Suzanne for sending me the photo of our president at the end of another tiring day...even before the Campaign 2020!

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 25, 2020:

A B, I need your fb link to get an invitation for you. Use HP's Contact Author email and shoot it to me.

A B Williams from Central Florida on September 25, 2020:

Hi Demas, yes I would be interested in following 'Latter Day Saints for Trump' on FB, how do I get in?

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on September 24, 2020:

Well HP has long been known for it's political bent. I am glad I follow you here.

Sharlee on September 24, 2020:

Demas, your more than welcome to uses my comment. Living in Michigan I realize the importance of encouraging people to get out and vote. I canvased in 2016 and really felt Trump would win just due talking to people. In 2016 we had few Trump signs. I was told by many they were fearful to put out a sign. This time around we have tons of signs, flags, and so many wearing their MAGA hats. I attribute this to the recent riots in Dem cities. People are mad, and as I said want law and order above all. The Dems did themselves no favor by condoning the riots for so many months. As President Trump has said --- This is the most important election in our lives... And I am confident that the American people more than realize that sentiment.

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 24, 2020:

It's "Featured" designation was replaced by a big O. No, it is not currently featured. It has been edited to include more than 15 additional, major achievements, so that I have lost count of them, but those are apparently not the unspecified "improvements" that would convince them to restore their original "Featured" designation. I have considered additional photos, but the "insert here" device is not responding on this Hub. Strange?

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on September 24, 2020:

I am not certain but is this featured now?

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 24, 2020:

AB. I guess as long as I can use the link to this, it continues to serve a purpose. I should do an identical for Mr. J. Biden, same two photos and as many of his 47 years' worth of accomplishments (?) as I can find, just to see by contrast how it would be treated? Same contact fro you, if you want to see what at least 16,500+ LDS people are concerned about and doing for our accomplished president.

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 24, 2020:

Sharlee, If I have your permission, I will post your most recent comment on Latter-day Saints For Trump, what Fb calls a "Secret Group" (their terminology for private groups that are by invitation) . Mr. Z of Fb is a lib and in the last election he alerted 2.6 million fbers to remember to vote. He halted at 2.6 feeling HC would win for sure. He may do 8 million this time, so we need a big turnout even to just "level the field." Three cheers for what you and so many others, including the "Faith & Freedom Coalition", are doing to encourage that solid turnout. I have ordered bumper stickers I will share. They look something like this (only better) a waving America flag followed by TRUMP 2021 + 4, for Inauguration Day 2021 and the following years until Inauguration Day 2025. I am still wrestling with 2020+4 because that is how so many visualize this battle. Contact me with an fb link, if you want to join in the LDS group (for which I think other Trump supporters are welcome).

Sharlee on September 24, 2020:

Thank you, AB, I was asked to canvas my community, and I felt it would be a learning opportunity, and it has been. What I have ascertained from a majority Rep and Dems They are very concerned about lawlessness, and the economy. The virus coming in third, it would appear many are having the attitude the virus is something no one could have predicted, and no one can really do much about without a vaccine.

I too posted a photo that showed rioters burning a flag, maybe this is the problem with my article. I have written other conservative-leaning articles, not sure why this one is not being posted.

We are in for fireworks leading up to the election, and a full out explosion after the election.

A B Williams from Central Florida on September 24, 2020:

Good for you Sharlee for your involvement, I may be making some phone calls in the near future.

I think my "spammy element" may be the pictures of rioters and looters caught in the act! Shame on me for pointing them out! I hear ya, every time, I think I may stop writing political articles, I think of all who have been banned or who have felt invisible/pushed out, etc. and I hang in there.

Demas, I hope that you get 'Featured', it's worthy.

Sharlee on September 24, 2020:

AB, I made every attempt to back up my opinion with sources on my quotes. My piece is from a conservative view, makes me wonder if it is a waste of time writing from a conservative view here on HPs? I am staying away from the Political forum at this point due to seeing it as futile, a waste of energy. Hey, they call the shots --- I guess I will also stop writing political articles. Just done with all the rhetoric. I have been canvassing for the Republican party, that's enough stimulus for me. LOL

A B Williams from Central Florida on September 24, 2020:

Odd indeed. My latest, 'The Masked Marauders', isn't Featured, due to "spammy elements" ?? I've made some changes and now it is pending. We'll see what happens.

Sharlee on September 24, 2020:

Very odd... I submitted an article yesterday, the title "2020 Vote Like Your Rights Depend On It". It is an opinion piece that discusses the Democrat's old and new election strategies. I covered my quotes with sources and did my homework. It has also been marked pending. Hopefully, it will be published.

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 23, 2020:

This is interesting. This Hub was marked "Featured". When I tried to submit it to a HubPages Network Site, it was rejected on a claim it was not featured, I pointed out that at that time it still showed "Featured" and that I still wanted to submit it. HP then changed the classification to "Pending". Now after a long wait for the correction, HP has listed it as being "not up to the standard to be featured." I wonder, if someone at HP will reclassify it on November 4th! So far it has been read 715 times, shared many times, and new achievements are added almost daily, while at the same time our president is also campaigning!

Sharlee on September 22, 2020:

Demas, Soon you will be able to list one more Trump accomplishment. He will have appointed yet another Conservative Judge to our Supreme Court. A justice that will respect our constitusion.

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 21, 2020:

Note that VP Biden tried to put his own spin on it by lying and saying that President Trump had not asked for Biden's list of possible SCOTUS candidates "until after the Justice died". Even CNN's fact checkers said he lied in that claim, because the president had asked him for his list before the passing of the Supreme Court jurist. You will also notice that this list has been edited to include the following: (1) provided for family inheritance of the family farm, (2) established Constitution Day, (3) provided for three months of maternity leave, and (4) assured veterans of timely medical care, even access to medical professionals outside the Veterans Administration.

A B Williams from Central Florida on September 20, 2020:

Well done.

I’ve just watched a clip of the President last night after the rally, being informed of Justice Ginsburg’s death.

He took a moment to gather his thoughts and gave a heartfelt and sincere response. It didn’t fall short and it wasn’t over the top. It was appropriate!

The media will still try (f they haven’t already) to spin his response into something else entirely.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on September 20, 2020:

Well done. How can someone argue with this; though sadly the would.

Demas W Jasper (author) from Today's America and The World Beyond on September 19, 2020:

:Added after you read the Hub was the rest of this comment this comment: "He has demonstrated his personal compassion for others, just as he did when he invited Holocaust survivors to tour the White House, or when he personally paid off a desperate mother's mortgage." Thanks for commenting. 2020+4!

Sharlee on September 19, 2020:

Thank you for putting all these achievements on one page. I have followed the President from day one and watched his many accomplishments. So many wonderful things that never were reported.

I enjoyed reading your Hub, it was pleasing to see others realize what the president has done for the country.
