Before I Begin The List

I want everyone to know that I am not compiling this list in hatred of this country. I believe everything can be improved but in order to do that we must acknowledge our faults and work to correct them, Which is why I am making this list. I am not into politics, I don't know all of the details behind the scenes as it were. I am merly a lower class citizen that has noticed some problems and would like to see them corrected in order for more of us to live in peace.

1: Cost Of Living

But I just got those!

But I just got those!

Truth be told the only way you can buy a house is with a partner and even apartments are starting to fall into the same category. This is just so wrong, the cost of living is so high that a part time job doesn't cut it for anyone, it's just not enough. Meaning that you ether work a full time job (which are not always easy to come buy) or work two part time jobs just to make ends meet, I suppose a third option would be to work together with someone in order to reach said goals, but I feel that should be a choice rather than feeling as though we have been forced. By lowering the cost of living we could reduce stress and people would actully feel better about what they could or could not spend.

2: Medical

Mario I don't think drugs solve everything.

Mario I don't think drugs solve everything.

My problem with the U.S medical system is that it is virtually unaffordable unless you are rich, which goes into the whole cost of living thing that we covered above. Most of the U.S is not rich, meaning that most of the people who in fact need medical attention are people who can't afford the high price hospital bills. When I took my cat into the vet he needed surgery, by the time it was all said and done it only costed me $700, now how is it a veterinarian who must learn how to treat not just dogs but cats, birds, rodents, lizards and many more and many diffrent breeds of each of those many things all of which can't tell them how they are feeling or where it hurts and still charge so little and yet human hospitals charge an arm and a leg to simply have a look at your arm and leg. The medical system needs to be reworked so that we the common folk can actually afford it.

3: Over Reliance On Computers

I couldn't find anything funny so here you go.

I couldn't find anything funny so here you go.

I Covered this in my How to Improve the Department of Unemployment article but I will say it again. Surprisingly enough there are still some people who don't have internet, regardless of there reasons for not having it, they can not do online applications, I suppose some places will allow you to do them in the store but if you are going to have that person apply instore then why just sit down and talk to him anyway? I am not saying drop computers interlay they have done a world of good, but I think there always should be a none digital alternative.

4: Micro Governments

That's basically what each state is.

That's basically what each state is.

I am sure everyone knows about this one, In this state it's legal in the next it's a crime, minimum wage is higher over the border and so on and so on. There is no reason for it to be like this, they could still be regarded as different states just to keep appearance but I think by having them act as little micro governments each with there own laws and policy's only further confuse the people and in some cases make it a bit inconvenient. During any election all your votes go into pool for the state which is none as the electoral vote which means that if you vote democratic and most of the state votes republican, the electoral will go to republican and your vote is basically thrown away. Just count every single vote that way there is no middle man everyone's vote will count.

I Don't Have Any Power, But!

If we the people don't at least try and point out everything wrong or outdated in our country then it will never get better. The first step to any kind of improvement is to recognize our faults and then work on them from there. There many more things I could have listed but I thought this was a good start, but what do you guys think agree with disagree with me, perhaps you have a fault with this country yourself, please let me in the comment section below. I'm Wanderin Jim and I hope you all have a super happy day.
