How do you stand out from the crowd and attract premium clients when you could hire someone else for half the price? The key is to stack value instead of subtracting cost. Make your services more valuable, and the clients will be willing to spend more money for them.
I’ll show you exactly how to do that.
STEP 1: Find Out What People Want
To find out what people want, start by asking yourself some questions. What problems does your product solve?
Who is your ideal customer?
What is the most common thing people struggle with? What is the biggest challenge facing your industry? What would make your life easier?
STEP 2: Create Something That Solves Those Problems
Once you know what people want, create something that solves those problems. It doesn’t mean you need to build an app or website. It can be anything from a blog post to a short video. Just make sure it addresses the problems you identified earlier.
STEP 3: Get Feedback From Real Customers
Now that you have created something that solves real problems get feedback. Ask customers if they like it, if anything is missing, and if they’d recommend it to others.
STEP 4: Repeat Steps 1-3 Until You Have A Product/Service That Sells
It is where things start getting interesting. Once you have a product or service that sells, repeat steps 1-3 until you have enough products/services to sell. If you don’t have any products yet
4. Database Administrators
Database Administrators (DBAs) are responsible for managing databases, which store information about everything from financial transactions to medical records. They also ensure that data is secure and reliable. As technology continues to evolve, so does the job title. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of DBAs is expected to grow by 19 per cent between 2012 and 2022. Here’s how to prepare for the future.

For instance, you might want to enroll in a database course through a community college. It will give you hands-on experience while helping you build transferable skills.
STEP 2: Learn SQL
SQL stands for Structured Query Language, and it’s used to create and maintain databases. While you don’t need a formal education to learn SQL, you need to know basic programming concepts. An excellent place to start is with online tutorials. Once you feel comfortable with SQL, you can learn advanced topics like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.

Online courses are another option for gaining knowledge without leaving home. There are plenty of options available, including Lynda.com, Udemy.com, and Pluralsight.
STEP 4: Join Professional Organizations
Professional organizations provide networking opportunities as well as training. You should join your local chapter of the American Society for Information Management (ASIM), the National Association of Database Professionals (NADBP), or the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). These groups offer certification programs, continuing education courses, and more.
STEP 5: Build Your Portfolio
Professional organizations often require candidates to submit their resumes. So make sure yours includes examples of work related to what you’re studying. Also, consider creating a portfolio site to post videos and presentations. The more professional your portfolio looks, the better chance you get hired.
5. Web designers
Web designers create websites and applications. They design layouts, colors, fonts, graphics, logos, animations, and interactive features. They also write code to integrate all of these elements.
As technology advances, so makes the demand for web designers. In fact, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for web designers is expected to grow by 22% from 2012 to 2022.
