Bib Overalls - Too Long, Just Shorten Them
My hubby had a worn out pair of bibs that fit the length he wanted, so we measured the inseams to that pair.

Fold over cut edge and sew about a 1/4 inch in. This gives you a nice hemmed edge later., And a line to follow.

I did this a few ways. The first time I sewed the material over and was very careful about the lines matching up. But, wasn't careful about the sharpie line on the Hem length. Seam rip. Start over.
Note to self: use caution going over thick areas, like seams. I broke a needle. Then forgot to thread thread through upper tensioning stuff, and ends up with no tension.
I made it through. The pair is hemmed. Whew!!
