This article will chart out the methods I have used to make money online. If you have just a few hours to spare each day, you can utilize your computer, or any device with internet access to make money online.

1. Amazon MTurk

MTurk was created in 2005 by the American online business and cloud computing company, Amazon. MTurk is a worker-on-demand marketplace which allows various companies to outsource micro tasks that require human intelligence to complete. MTurk workers complete micro tasks, also known as HITs, in return for payment. Available tasks include data extraction, surveys, transcription, voice recordings and more. Bonuses are also offered by requestors for some of their HITs. If you're a transcriptionist, you have an opportunity to qualify for higher paying tasks. My discovery of MTurk started in 2020 where I have been completing micro tasks since for payment. I can attest to the legitmacy of MTurk and below is a screenshot of my earnings for May and June 2021. I was working a bare minimum on tasks every few days. Of course, this is not meant to replace your current job, but you can supplement or add to your existing income.

The screenshot below is from 2022. I put more time into completing tasks to see if I could earn more money than the previous year. In a nutshell, the more time I put in, the more I earned completing simple tasks. So if you have extra time to spare, you can complete simple tasks as well on MTurk to earn money.
