Are your Hubpage earnings not bringing you in thousands of dollars yet like the ebook said it would? Spending hours on your articles only to get little to no views? You can change that with some small simple tweak and regular action. Hubpages gives us a great platform in order for us to potentially make an income from the comfort of our own home, not to mention totally free too. Hubpages has done all the hardwork, all we have to is write and simply click on those capsules we want to add. Not so easy with your own website. Hubpages is loved by Google so our articles can be indexed by Google quicker by the authority Hubpages has. Hubpages does have it's restrictions in making money but it's not to say you can't be earning a full time income from the site if you put the work in. Here I'm going to give 5 simple little tweaks you can do to increase your earnings.
There are some great hubs on hubpages already that go in to backlinking, SEO, Keyword research, Traffic generation but I haven't put any real effort in to any of that since starting writing on Hubpages, yet I'm knocking on the door of 100,000 views. I've just reached a milestone of 100 hubs too which is a new chapter for me and I plan to work even harder on my hubs.
Hubpages has a great community with thousands of users. We can also follow each other which means we can be notified of what each other are doing whether that's commenting on a hub, following someone or posting a new hub. Have you ever heard the 7 degrees of seperation? If you have 7 friends, you then have links to everybody in the world. With thanks to the internet we can potentially connect to the entire world, so think the more people you know on hubpages the bigger the potential of your articles being seen, lets say they facebook like your hub and there friends did the same and there friends and so on and so on. Read new hubs and follow people that share the same interest as you, are active on hubpages and follow the top hubbers. This is a simple way to get more traffic. No Backlinking necessary : ).
Hubpages has kindly given us a Amazon capsule so we can show multiple products in our hubs and then earn a commission if someone clicks on one of those products and buys. Unfortunately picture ads don't convert very well nor do banner ads. Top internet marketers won't use banner ads or amazons picture ads. The other down side to using the Amazon capsule is that you share the revenue with hubpages. Use text links in the body of your article, do this even if you have your own website or blog. You can create text links by selecting the text ad on the Amazon product link. Name the link whatever you like, could be "click here" "see this" or "Product XYZ". Text links clean up our hubs too and 100% of the commission is yours.
What you talking about?
If your hubs are about the way you cat licks its own bum are you suprised your adsens earnings are low. Google ads are PPC (pay per click) so the advertiser has to pay Google a advertising fee everytime someone clicks on the ad. We then get a cut of that fee from Google for letting them place the ads on our articles. You could make a fortune from Adsense 15 years ago but people have got wise to them so it became a numbers game, where by you need high volume of traffic to get the clicks. This is why you shouldn't rely soley on Adsense to make your fortune. One tweak though you can do is write hubs about topics that charge and advertisers a high fee per click this means you'd get paid more equalling less clicks needed to generate an income. There's people that specialise in hidden niches to find those expensive ad fees, don't worry about any of that. As a rule of thumb write some hubs in competitive markets like health, weight loss, nutrition, selling, technology, illness.
A bonus to this section is if your hubs are about poems, what you did the weekend then there's very little room to make money from them. A classic way to make money with article marketing is product reviews. If you review a product then people searching for review are potential buyers and you can then advertise the product at the end of the review. I wrote a hub on a simple way to write product reviews.
Use the most obvious title
Keyword research guru's tell you to target keywords with high search results with little competition and they will spend agese doing this research. Yeh, it's a great way to get to page 1 of Google for a particular keyword but it's not the only way to get to page one and you might never find those keywords. So just put the most obvious keywords in your title and with a couple of extra one like -. "Add Junk to your trunk workout" "Review" "Does it really Work"? The product name is going to be the high competition keyword but adding words like review and does it really work/ does it work to the title gives it other keywords for it to be picked up by the search engines. With these really high competition hubs makes sure they're lengthy and are of your best possible quality aim for 1000 words or more. This will also help your article be found by the search engines. These hubs will start to get traffic straight away and will gradually gain more traffic as they mature. An obvious title and high word count and valuable content will get you trafiic in the hardest of niches.
Want Quick Traffic & Earn a Quick Buck?
I feel like i'm getting in to the relms of underground article money making techniques now. Infact I think I bought an ebook to learn this! Some top earners in internet marketing don't care for having an article making them a steady income over time, they want to earn a stack right now and boy they do. Google has a website called Google Trends which tells you the hotest searches on Google.com or Google.co.uk even, for that day. Right now it's "Andy Murray" because he's won the US Open. Add this with what I've said above about keywords you can quickly write up an article about Andy Murray with a blaitent hub title because the keywords will be so fresh there won't be much competition. "Andy Murray Wins US Open after Winning The British Olympics Gold Medal" How juicy would that be??????. This method gives you massive traffic quickly and can generate quick sales if you sell a relevant product in your article. These articles won't give you long term traffic but do one of these articles everyday for the next 30days how do you think your earnings will look like? I wish I liked tennis.
If you liked this hub please share it by facebook liking it, or tweeting, or printing it off and sending by homing pigeon to your best friend.
1 million views
It's been 8 years since I joined hubpages and I'm about to hit the 1 million view mark this year in 2018.
Once I hit this milestone I'll be writing a hubpages article about this. I am by no means a guru or SEO expert yet one of my articles on Hubpages has brought in 700,000 views on it's own.
I'll be talking about what made that article so popular and also y journey on hubpages and for those of you just finding the site can learn from what I have learnt in the past 8 years.
I'll tell you what went right and what I did wrong. Article marketing is alive and kicking in 2018 and beyond. You really can earn a living from sites likes Hubpages.

Thank you very very much Mizjo,
It's only in the last month that I have done any sort of backlinking to my articles (even what I have done is minimal), yet prior to this my articles hit over 100k views which came from organic traffic.
I'm gonna check out your hubs, see if there's anyway I can help you.

Yeh it's a great tool to use to potentially earn quick money. Somedays can have really obscure searches which are hard to write about but somedays like yesterday with andy murray being a top search you could earn $100 pretty easily within a day with a great hub and relevant products.
