The 7 Tricks of Hotels to Get a Tidy House in Half an Hour

High-class hotels are subject to strict standards, which require the room to be arranged within half an hour. Hotel rooms are accomplishing this task. The secret of their speed and quality is to carefully plan all stages of processing.

Below are seven hotel room tricks on how to tidy a house in half an hour:

1. Placing things in order

First, housekeepers take all the rubbish out of the room; they collect the used hygiene bottles from the bathroom, shake out the dust bin, collect empty bottles, stoppers and so on. At home, this stage can start with putting things in their places: clothes from a chair in a closet or Laundry books on the shelves. If you have a dishwasher, put the used dishes in it. Do the work you are doing and let the dishes get washed in the machine.

2. Don’t forget household chemicals

The bathroom and kitchen are managed at this stage. Apply the cleaning agents on the stove, on the sink, in the bath, on the toilet and leave for 10–15 minutes. During this time, you will do other work and Let the bacteria get killed in the meantime.

Why White Bedding?

Whitewashed bedding in hotels has become the norm, although such a solution seems strange. After all, it is the spots and smears that continue on the white bedding that will stand out the most. It was then that the relevant studies were conducted. Until then, no one even thought about the relationship between bedding, color, and hotel quality. So it turns out to make guests think that even average rooms are great, not so complicated. For the same reason, hotels use white towels and white bathrobes. Plus, with just one color, there’s no need to sort laundry.

4. To fight the dust

It would take 10 possible minutes to remove dust from all surfaces in an apartment. If you have completed the first point, you will quickly remove dust from empty table chests and so on.

Even if you don’t like it, this work is just obligatory and managing it is necessarily done. Dust on the shelves not only darkens the aesthetics of the house, but can also cause allergies. Well, if the surface is large, scratching it with cloth, of course, is not difficult.

Hotel room carts come with a wide range of tools and appliances, from a vacuum cleaner to a toothbrush and cotton swabs. This allows the most remote places in the hotel room to be reached. If you decide on general order to clean all corners, the feeling of ideal order will last longer.

Since COVID-19 hotels have had to introduce enhanced cleaning procedures. Public areas are cleaned more rigorously, but guest rooms are not cleaned daily during longer stays. That said, standards of cleanliness in hotel rooms used to difer a lot, depending on the thoroughness of the cleaners. It's interesting to adapt hotel cleaning for the home.
