Sunflowers are quite easy to grow. Not only do people enjoy eating the seeds that come from them, they're also food for birds as well. Artist Vincent Van Gogh enjoyed them so much that he did a series of paintings of them.

Ever wonder how carnations get their vivid colors? You can create your own colorful carnations. Just trim the bottom of the stem and place a white carnation into a glass of water with food coloring added. The carnation will turn the color of the food dye.
