Weirdly Shaped Vegetables And Fruits

Kittytomato

Eggplantnose

Every year there are millions of gardens grown around the world with many, many types of vegetables. Most are the common variety and turn out just like the gardener intended but sometimes in rare cases the veggies take one very unusual shapes and come to look like something other than veggies. This article is to highlight the most unusual I have come across. Check some of them out.

One such veggie is the Kitty tomato to the right. How it came to resemble a kitty with point ears (or the devil depending on opinion) we'll never know, but one thing is for certain it is rather amazing. Now all it needs to do it start meowing! Besides the kitty tomato check out the eggplant with the big nose below. If only it had a pair of eyes and a mouth it could be a rather silly cartoon character. the green leafy part at the top almost makes it look like the eggplant has hair as well.

Below you can see other amazing examples. In the cases below the shapes were made intentionally. Placing plastic molds over the pears causes then to grow into the shape of the molds and thus makes man pears!

CarrotSpaceman

To the right is what I'd think looks like a spaceman. I can only imagine the face of the grower when he pulled this carrot out of the ground. He looks like he's on a conquest of the universe just emerging from the spaceship and ready to take over. Either way it is certainly an amazing example of what nature can come up with if given the chance.

Below you can see two carrots entwined. whether they got stuck with each other or were fighting over the same soft soil but they are something of a sight to see. Take a gander below and find many more examples of veggies taking on other interesting forms.

EntwinedCarrots

EntwinedCarrots

this is one of the more cute one. A potato teddy bear! Doubtful that you would want to fall asleep nuzzled against it however. He may not be invited to the teddy bear picnic but he may eventually become a snack at one!

PotatoBear

PotatoBear

This one reminds me of a witches face. The green plant matter atop like crazy hair, beady eyes, a long point noise and evil mouth. If you look closely with all the bumps and such maybe you will actually see a classic wart on it's nose. You can almost hear it saying, "I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too!"
