Need for cleaning schedule

Hi, I am Deepa. First of all, I'm an easy-looking person everywhere. The situation is no different in housekeeping. I have two creative daughters and, on the other hand, who are not disciplined and obedient. So I thought I will clean the home daily, only after they grew up. The identity of my home is that it is always cluttered. But recently I brought some changes. The house is clean now, though not always. Today I'm going to tell you how I got there.

Deep Cleaning and Decluttering before we start

Overall a decluttering or Deep cleaning was required before coming to a cleaning routine. Accordingly, it took two to three weeks to deep clean the entire home including the cupboard bathroom kitchen. This includes everything from fan, roof, furniture to flooring. The list of total rooms was taken, and a few parts of each room were cleaned each day to avoid getting tired. It would stop when I was exhausted.

Deep cleaning Routine

Needed re-arrangement was done in the rooms. Everything that was not needed was moved to the storage space, including the clothes. Everything that could be avoided was discarded. Though It was very difficult to avoid. This was the main focus so no other goals were focused on for weeks. Then the cleaning schedule was made based on the number of rooms and how often they needed to be cleaned.

Laundry Schedule added to cleaning routine

I do not have a monthly cleaning schedule. When I see that a room is messed up, I just set aside a day to deep clean it. Each room was scheduled to be cleaned on a particular day of the week. The kitchen is cleaned in the morning, at 4 pm and in the evening. Along with this, a laundry routine, i.e., doing the laundry and folding, sort is added along with the cleaning routine.

Trial run of Cleaning Routine

In the first month, I conducted a trial run of this prepared cleaning schedule. After the kitchen work at 10 in the morning, I will take 20 to 30 minutes and arrange the allocated room according to the cleaning schedule. There is no sweeping included in this. Sweeping only happens when it is too much messed up. Most likely Biju will help with that. I concentrate on putting back items in place, like shoes, clothes, toys, etc. Along with that any paper bits or crayons etc will be looked into. The bathrooms are cleaned on Saturdays. Wet mopping is planned for Sundays. That too is not for the whole house, will do it for one or two rooms.

No more than 30 minutes a day is wasted on cleaning. Thus things don’t get tough, especially when done every day. I have shared my schedule. I shall give a list of things to do in each room - the daily/weekly and deep clean list on my blog. I have previously given a list of South Indian grocery on my blog like this. Then you can print or copy it. After a month's trial run, you can understand what needs to be changed. We can make necessary changes to make our plan realistic.

Last note

Last Point This is a personalized schedule based on my health and considering the helping mentality of members in my household. you can plan according to your personal preference. Those who visit home & ourselves should feel that, our house is clean enough and that there is nothing to complain about. That is the purpose. When I go through such a flow, I get some physical difficulties and I get sick for two or three days. Then the home will go back to the previous condition because I did not plan to pass it on to others at home as a process. That is, they do not do any of my work when I am not there, so this schedule won't be followed. After a gap of two or three weeks, I will start again with a deep cleaning.

I hope you understand the situation explained. Please share if you found the video useful. Comment on your valuable comments. See you soon in the next video.
