It must have been 2012 when I picked up two pine cones in Wyoming and brought them home.the pine trees were massive, straight as an arrow trees.
I put my cones in a ziplock and promptly forgot about them. This year is when I admired my cones, since they were completely opened now. Round. The bag was littered with seeds that had dropped out of the cones.
So. This year, I put potting soil in a ziplock, put the seeds in, covered them a little. Watered the soil. Put the cover on the box and sat it outside under my bench on my deck.
Today, I transplanted them into the same pot with the beans and trellis. This pot sits near the roof line and gets watered gently every morning due to condensation dripping off the roof.
