No Time to Go Through All the Auction Sites?

This page contains a huge list of property auction websites, if you simply don't have the time to sort through them all and keep an eye on property in your area, there are a few services that can provide you with just properties you are interested in.

The Property Auction people have a database of over 450 Property Auctions across the country and you can simply register with them and search by town, country, postcode or type, meaning it would take you just 5 minutes a day to keep abreast of the houses YOU are after - the information is updated daily. For up to two weeks after the auctions you can also quickly search and scan through unsold lots.

Check it out, it'll save you missing out on the ideal property at auction just because you couldn't find 3-4 hours every week to trawl through every site. Some properties are sold at auction hundreds of miles away from where they actually are, making this database invaluable.

Thanks for a great hub. I think that online presence is everything when it comes to selling real estate.

RichPt on March 02, 2011:

Buying at auction is pretty scary, my advise is to make sure you have your bridging loan or mortgage (unless you are fortunate enough to be a cash buyer) ready to go as soon as the auction is finished as it's a tight deadline and a hefty deposit to lose if you don't complete on time.

Often times, it seems like getting a good deal at a property auction depends on how heavily it is attended. Usually the ones that don't draw huge crowds are where there can be deals to be found.

Egypt Property on February 05, 2010:

Yeh I agree most sales end up being a form of auction anyway so makes sense just limit the bidders and go direct! Good Article though.

Greg Cremia from Outer Banks on January 15, 2010:

The real estate auctions I have attending ended up selling the properties for about what they would have sold otherwise. Needless to say, I didn't buy anything because I was looking for a deal.
