DIY FAUX CERAMIC VASES

Steps for the Project

  1. Cut the cardboard in the following dimensions:

    1. Length: 18 cm and Breadth: 9.5 cm (4 pieces)
    2. Length: 12 cm and Breadth: 9.5 cm (4 pieces)
    3. Length: 9.5 cm and Breadth: 9.5 cm (2 pieces)
  2. Take the cardboard pieces and hot glue them together to form a vase. Take the masking tape and wrap it around the vase to make it more sturdy.
  3. Take some baking soda and mix it with some acrylic paint.
  4. Paint the whole structure with the mixture. Additionally, you can also add some gold paint to the vase to add in some detail.

And, you are done. No one will believe you that it is made from cardboard. I added some faux plants from IKEA.

  • Glue

  1. Take a corrugated sheet and cut the shape of an alphabet that you want to make. You can use a knife or an exacto knife for cutting the shape.
  2. Now create the border around it using an extra piece of the same sheet/cardboard. We are trying to make a 3D shape here for the alphabet.
  3. Glue everything in place and take an exacto knife and start marking small holes at equal distances on the structure.
  4. Now, add fairy lights in the holes.
  5. Take a few ping pong balls and make a small cut in them.
  6. Add the balls on top of the fair lights.

So easy and makes a perfect gift for your loved ones.

  1. Take take an embroidery hoop and paste stick-on gemstones on the hoop.
  2. Take two bamboo skewers and wrap black tape around it and you are done.

  3. Now, take some bamboo squares and make a grid pattern on the hexagonal structure and hot glue it in place and now you have a perfect storage for your jewelry.

This project is a perfect way to use the old cardboard that you have lying around at home.

  1. take a piece of a cardboard box and start wrapping around the rope that you have. Use a glue gun to secure it in place.

  3. Once you're done wrapping around the rope take a piece of old fabric and hot glue it in place inside the cardboard box and you are done.

  1. Take a skewer and black tape. Cut a piece of black tape according to the length of the skewer.
  2. Wrap the tape on the skewer. Repeat the steps on 15 other skewers.
  3. Now take a small piece of tape and join two skewers together.
  4. Repeat the steps for other skewers. Cut the end of the skewers with the help of pliers.
  5. Arrange the skewers in a grid pattern that you would like and hot glue them in place.

And, you are done! Put your favourite picture postcards or notes and use it as wall decor.
