DIY Décor Ideas for the Garden
Hello, My Name is Ashlie Hale the wife of the popular Hubpage Author TheLyricWriter. I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. I realized just how supportive people here on Hubpages are, y'all sure appreciate and respect each others work.
Here for the past few months I've hijacked my husbands Hubpages and wrote a few articles of my own. Mainly about Home Décor and DIY ideas. I'm a huge fan of DIY, especially when it comes to my own personal space. I've adopted just about every DIY idea I've shared with you so far and I must say it's a lot of fun. Especially when you have kids, cause kids love to join in and help out. Makes them feel special and responsible, especially the little ones. They love to feel like their mommy's little helper.
Now that my little ones are in school I have plenty of time to put my creativity to work. I've searched the web plenty of times looking for creative and fun décor ideas for inside as well as outside of my home. I wanted to share with you some of the cutest and fun DIY ideas for your garden and yard décor that I've found, that you can adopt and enjoy with your little ones as well.
Below are a lot of pictures for you to browse through, and even if you are or aren't a lover of décor like me, I just know you'll still love these ideas for your garden/yard décor.
This is a great activity to do with your little ones. Mine absolutely loved this, I used the smaller size fence and placed it along my flower bed. It's fun and it grabs a lot of attention.
Trash Can Makeover
So adorable. Instead of throwing away those old tin or even plastic trash cans give them a fun make over. These DIY Ideas are a total eye grabber.
Boots and Flowers
Take those old smelly boots your husband or even your little ones no longer need and put them to some good use. Even your old hats and purses. Have the kids help paint and add some fun designs to the boots, fill with gardening soil or a medium pot of some colorful flowers for a unique touch to your yard and garden decor.
Have the little ones customize some rocks, make some fun characters for a fun décor to add to your garden and even landscape. And another cute idea is to create some baby footprints with rocks.
Flower Pot Characters
When I seen these, I just knew I had to incorporate them into my yard decor.
For our singing Friends
Here's another fantastic activity to do with the little ones as well. Birds are natures singers and creative in their own little ways. Their fun to have around your home, their singing alone can make a peaceful oasis for your yard. Here are a few great ideas to give back to these lovely creatures. They'll love and also your kids will get a kick out of watching the birds put them to some good use.
Pretty showcase for your flowers hanging up.
Flower pots can be customized anyway. Be sure to have fun with it, add your own personality!
Recycle your tires, use your old tires by creating flower beds, swings and more.
Fun and Creative
The rest of these amazingly fun and cute DIY ideas are made basically from old things that you can just find lying around, in your storage shed or an old piece of furniture. Be creative, the skies the limit and it doesn't cost much at all for flowers, plants and paint to put your own twist to your outdoor décor. Simply putting in a heady mix of plants and shrubs isn't enough to punch up your garden décor. To truly transform and spruce up your garden into a perfect outdoor living space, adopt some of these ideas. I guarantee your beautiful décor will be the talk of the neighborhood!
