Awesome Online Zombie Stories

Well, maybe not everywhere, but the shambling masses of zombies are all over the internet. Tales of the zombie hoards abound, for there seems to be something about moaning, flesh eating, reanimated zombies that stimulates people's imagination. There are zombie stories on blogs, message boards and available in .pdf form, as well as in other places on the net. Sometimes we're looking at the world through the eyes of the survivors of the zombie apocalypse, perhaps in a day to day, or hour to hour diary of survival. Occasionally we see through the zombie's point of view and the zombies become almost sympathetic.

Here are some examples of what may happen when zombies invade the world.

A tree house, not visible from below and pretty easy to knock off anything that tries to climb up.

You need a combination of long range weapons (like a compound bow or crossbow) and shrt range weapons (like a sword, mace, or axe). Silence is the key. Only turn to a firearm as a last resort!

I LOVE zombie fiction! I'm a huge fan of As the World Dies by Rhiannon Frater..she got her start by posting her stories on message boards. This is a great lens..I've been looking for original zombie stories! Thanks! Oh and my favorite method is "headknocking in the murderhole" This Dark Earth by John Horner Jacobs

This is such a great collection. Thank you Shanna. I would chop up our staircase and put an extension ladder upstairs with us. Fill both bathtubs with water and get earplugs (to block out the moans of the undead).

Hey. I absolutely love the zombie genre so I was pleased to find this Lens with the useful zombie book list. My favorite zombie book is "Flesh Eaters" by Joe McKinney. An awesome book, very well written.

Check out my new zombie stories blog.

I update it with new stories and chapters every week.

Thanks. Rich

Great lens and no Zombie list wouldn't be complete with out including World War Z. Not technically an online story, true, but still well worth the read.
