Good Morning Poems; I Love a Beautiful day with Sunshine

It's a beautiful day

"Everything that God has created is good; nothing is to be rejected, but everything is to be received with a prayer of thanks" ~ 1 Timothy 4:4

A beautiful day begins
with a prayer of gratitude

as the first light of dawn
paints the sky in hues
of gold and amber

I feel the energy flow
in the warm rays of the Sun

Uplifting my spirit
as I soar with the Eagles

contemplating in silence
this priceless moment

with time standing still
in awe and worship

Fortune with Blessings

A beautiful day begins
with a prayer of gratitude

the Lord fills my heart
with joy and gladness

warm rays of the sun
his love and kindness

with peace of mind
I bow to his wisdom

fortune with blessings
ask and it shall be given

5 Haiku

A beautiful day begins
with a prayer of gratitude

Caress by a breeze
I feel the wind on my face
like your gentle touch

A sunflower field
beneath a cerulean sky
beauty surrounds me

The first light of day
in the stillness and quiet
I hear a bird song

Watching the sunrise
like a dream that never dies
each new day brings hope

Life,a miracle
do not ask if god exist
In silence,listen

Thanks Mike

Thanks Mike

I am surprised to see that I commented here 9 months ago! I was reading through the poems and realized that much of it sounded familiar. Yet, I still enjoyed them very much, again. Thanks for this collection.

I have since found a wonderful collection of funny love poems that I think everyone reading this would appreciate: http://www.wishespoems.com/love-poems/funny-love-p...

I love these! Especially the images. I am a big fan of morning poems. I often recite love poems to my wife in the morning to help her start the day off right. I will definitely borrow some of yours :-) Here is where I've gotten a bunch of good morning poems:

I don't know how I missed this! I can feel that early morning air as I read this... beautiful!

"Life, a miracle

do not ask if god exist

In silence, listen"

This is all we ever need to do. :)

Bluebird ~ You're welcome. I wrote this hub after one of my early morning jog, inspired by the beauty of nature and the feeling that there must be a creator.

bluebird on August 30, 2013:

Enjoyed this, very positive and uplifting, always is when God's involved!

Thanks so much.

sunkentreasure~ Thank you for the lovely poem. We may never fully comprehend God's love but it is there for all. One merely has to reach out. Have a beautiful day.

God is amazing

He chooses every baby's DNA and blood type

He puts every star in place to float in the sky

He creates every fingerprint with a rare design

He makes an egg to burst open with life.

God is great

He selects all the love-songs for every bird to sing

He makes broken bones mend

He gives every flower its specific perfume

He cares for seeds and they turn to fruit.

God is awesome

He tells the seasons when to change

He gives us air so we can breathe

He feeds multitudes of living organisms on our planet

He waters fields of green carpets with morning dew.

Every leaf is a marvel of God's genius

Every baby is filled with God's love

There is nothing in this world more precious

than the beautiful kindness of God.

Moon Dancer ~ In my younger days I used to be a night owl.Going out most nights with friends.Waking up with a terrible hangover the next day.As we grow older our priorities change.Even our lifestyle. I prefer to wake up early now to greet the sun. This hub is inspired by the peace and meditative atmosphere of the early morning as I jog or run along the park near our home.

Moon Dancer on February 18, 2011:

prasetio30 ~ We do not see the Sun on a cloudy day so if our heart and mind is clouded with negative emotions like hate, anger or envy then we close our eye's to God's blessings. What a better way than to start the day with a prayer of gratitude. To have a positive mindset and let each day be a beautiful one.Thank you for your appreciation and have a beautiful and sunny day.

Erin LeFey from Maryland on January 20, 2011:

Emily40 ~ Hello ;) Thank you for your lovely comment.Have a sunshine good morning as well as a beautiful day.

SilentReed (author) from Philippines on January 15, 2011:

Martie,I like typos..spot one on your new comment "Take car",SilentReed :)wish I could afford one.Another reason why I jog :)

Emily40 on January 15, 2011:

Love how you put beautiful words together.

This is lovely:)

Martie Coetser from South Africa on January 15, 2011:

OMW! Just look at that horrible typo I’ve made. Now I’m pulling out some of my hair again... One of these days I’m going to be completely bald. Lol! You are a jogger? I can but only admire you – I love walking though, but not able to walk too far with these feet of mine. Fortunately we can watch the sun rise and set anywhere we stand, sit, walk, or run. Take car, SilentReed.

SilentReed (author) from Philippines on January 15, 2011:

MartieCoetser ~ One of the joy of jogging each day is the exhilaration I feel as I reach the top of a hill in time to watch the sun rise.I close my eyes as I feel the warm rays of the sun and the sense that God is close by.Thank you and have a beautiful day.

Martie Coetser from South Africa on January 15, 2011:

These poems and haiku are awesome, just like sunrise. What a wonderful feeling of wonder we experience while watching the sun rice and set - We always want others to experience it too. Again, my hat off for you, SilentReed!

SilentReed (author) from Philippines on January 15, 2011:

Doug Turner Jr. ~ Thanks for your comment. Although I am not sure if you meant the "rat race" that we face each day or the horse races :) Still it won't do any harm to say a prayer of gratitude before heading off to the race tracks or the office :)

SilentReed (author) from Philippines on January 15, 2011:

Wayne Brown ~ Reading all that bad news especially about how govt. is wasting tax payer's money over a cup of coffee isn't a good way to start the day or to enjoy one's coffee. Brewed coffee and some meditation ! Not a bad idea :)

Doug Turner Jr. on January 14, 2011:

Any day began with such thoughtful meditation is sure to be spiritual and lived to fullest. I need to take the advice included in this fine poetry and not rush out of bed and off to the races -- as I too often do. Thanks for the uplifting piece. Cheers.

Wayne Brown from Texas on January 14, 2011:

This is a great way to greet the morning with a great cup of coffee and some meditation! Thanks for sharing. WB
