Sunbathing in Bed
I started writing poetry as a child. I write performance poetry, observational, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious human rights issues
Sunbathing in Bed - a Fantasy
Do you ever have that warm feeling in the half-dream world, when the morning sunlight peeps through the curtains, so bright that you can see it even with your eyes closed, and you know it's going to be a lovely day?

My Inspiration
My bed faces due East, so I can lie there in the morning, watching as the sun gently appears through the trees outside.
Early one morning, as I lay in bed watching the sun rise over the roof-tops opposite, wallowing in the warmth and brightness, I was suffused with a feeling of well-being.
I closed my eyes for a few minutes. Then these words began to flood my brain and I sat up in bed, reached for pen and paper, which I always keep nearby, and started writing this poem.

I wrote this whilst waiting outside a builders' depot in London, watching all the hustle and bustle, and people going about their business. Just a snapshot of life. - Malala Yousafzai - the Pakistani Girl Shot in the Head for Attending School
I wrote this when Malala was seriously injured by a gunman and first brought over to England, for her own protection, I sent the poem to her whilst she was in hospital. - Janus - a Two-Faced Man
