Dream More With Dolly Parton

Dream With Dolly

Dolly's new book Dream More gives inspirational wisdom from her own experiences about taking charge of our lives and creating a future with dreams being apart of it. Her hopes for all us is to embrace our lives with this motto "Dream more, Learn more, Care more, and Be more". Now isn't that a great resolution to start a New Year with!

Reading this book has been an uplifting inspiration to me. It made me smile. Her simple spontaneity gives hope that dreams can come true by learning to care more; that we can be more in all that we do. Dream big for we can make those dreams be apart of our life!

Try... - By Dolly Parton

Book Lady

Dolly's nickname "Book Lady" came about after the Dollywood Foundation created a program in 1995 to help early childhood literacy in Tennessee where she grew up at. It is called Dolly Parton Imagination Library. It was created to help give every preschool child a book each month from the time he or she is born until the child reaches kindergarten. As a little girl growing up where literacy was a problem it affected her so much that she wanted to help other children; give them an opportunity to learn to read.

Dolly remembers a fond memory of how happy her Dad was when he expressed how proud he was for this program being created "He thought it was grand that all the kids called me the Book Lady."

Dolly Parton Imagination Library

In this video Dolly tells all about how the Imagination Library came about. She also talks about how you can replicate this program in your community. Her wish for every child is to "Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More"!
