Now that l am a WRINKLY
And have accepted that l am.
I must adopt a strategy
To deal with Nature's scam.
My chinS are obeying gravity,
So beginning at my mouth,
Bits and pieces of myself
Are quickly heading South.
Ladies underwear is helpful.
Modern tips are heeded,
Yet when l pass a mirror,
I feel scaffolding is needed.
Wrinkled knees, and hands.
Wrinkled neck is looking scary,
Weighing scales and mirrors
Of these l now am wary.
Wrinklies of the world unite.
We still are human beings.
And though it may seem rude of us,
We just don't care what you are seeing.
Think of us what e'er you will.
We've lived and loved. Lost and won.
So before you moan how slow we are,
Remember , one day you too will be ONE.!
