True Freedom - Poems & Quotes

Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.

true-freedom

True freedom has many explanations; here is my poem expressing what true freedom means to me.

True freedom is,

When you stand upright,

Express, say what you feel,

And speak outright.

True freedom is,

When you stand up and fight,

Not worry even a little bit,

What other's say,

Does not matter even a bit.

True freedom is,

When you protect yourself,

Speak up when you are wronged,

And never take anything,

Lying down, without a fight.

True freedom is when,

You never let anyone hurt,

By words or by deeds,

It’s by far the worst,

To hit where it hurts.

True freedom is when,

You do what you have to do,

Say what you have to say,

Without fear and head held high,

Speaking the truth,

No matter what or why.

You have true freedom,

When you fully realize,

That you are free as a bird,

And can reach great heights,

When you stand upright,

Ready to defend and fight,

To do what is right.

freedom to do what is right

freedom to do what is right

Freedom - Rules

The rules seemed to define

How I should live my life

Remember you cannot dictate

The moments of life, my living state

You cannot take what is rightfully mine

Remember, freedom is when thoughts align

Align to do what needs to be done

The right decisions taken at the right time

Not too late for justice to be served

The righteousness of the law always preserved
