What is the key feature of our brain? Its role is to keep working continuously. It has to keep on helping us to sense, breathe, react, and create thoughts. However, for every writer out there, this phase tends to occur sometimes. It is weird when a person cannot write a single word or has no idea or notion in mind. As a keen writer, I face this problem very often. Daily writing sometimes can be overwhelming in terms of finding decent topics and ideas to write on.

In my recent article, I talked about ways to build a habit of writing. However, what if you are unable to think about a single topic to write on?

Don't you worry, I am here at your rescue. The first thing you need to remember is that you take a break if needed. Often we get exhausted by working continuously. So, it is good to pause to relax a bit.

Moving on, today, I am going to provide you with a list of ideas to write on. If you acquire this writer's block by any chance, use these ideas. Just be with me here, and I promise I will not let your dreams shatter. I will help create an easy path for you to walk upon and achieve your goals. You may also alter the list as per your needs. So, let's get started.

Write about yourself

No one knows you better than yourself. Each one of us has so many different events associated with our lives. Everyone has either had a lovely experience or a traumatic incident. There are so many things to talk about, and I identified a few out of them for you:

  1. Write about the happiest moment of life - People tend to enjoy reading and writing positive plus happy moments. This way, you might even get rid of this mental block.
  2. The most significant achievement
  3. Your one unsaid dream
  4. The most tragic moment in life
  5. Your first love
  6. Your first crush
  7. Talk about marriage
  8. Talk about friendship, maybe about your best friend.
  9. The first child
  10. Your favorite food

You can add many more items to the list to write on. You can even modify this list to create a short story. Writing about yourself can add many different flavors to your work. And might also rejuvenate your writing experience.

Write on habits/motivation/life-lessons

The best way to reach out to the masses and connect with them is to write about life lessons.

The emotional aspect of any story is the part that leaves you with a message. These may include your life lessons along with the schoolings you had from other's lives. So, here you go, you can write on the topics I am listing below:

There are several other similar topics that you can add to this list. Any story which comes with learning is often one of the best stories. So, the best way to keep up your writing is to motivate yourself along with others on the path.

You can keep this quote in your mind and get started on writing and helping people understand the necessity of living a healthy life. You can talk about things like:

  1. Talk about your daily routine
  2. Share your health regime with everyone
  3. The diet plan
  4. Yoga or Cardio - which is better
  5. Ways to reduce weight
  6. Write about ways to stay hydrated
  7. Importance of exercising
  8. How rising early can change life

Write about anything and everything

Lastly, you can write on many general topics as stated below. And try to write about anything. Make stories of your own, add fictional characters.
