Reading a book is one of the ways to entertain ourselves and to keep our minds active. Reading enhances the performance of our brains and benefits our mental and physical health. People read for many different reasons: to feel good, to be distracted and to get their mind off things, to find solutions or answers to a problem, or for pleasure and relaxation.
Talking about relaxation, how about reading a novel? Could be mystery and thrillers, romance, adventure, sci-fiction or crime genre.
Novels are the imaginations and skillful creation of the writer and it give us the stand to mentally live the story and even the characters if possible.
Reading a novel is a wonderful to escape from our physical environment to a place of imagination and thoughts.
I love reading novels and each time, I try to put myself in the author’s shoes or in the story, like I was there while it was all happening and it can be amazing how we feel especially if something is happening to our favorite character or the protagonist.
Most people may not have the time now to read a book or they are more engaged in social media platforms to pick up a book but I tell you, reading a book will change your disposition in life. You will gradually see a positive change in:
