spots upon the shadow

blink those tears away

Imaginative, reflective

Exploring, remembering, realizing

Revealed in her dream

'I hope you don't suppose those are real tears?'

of course you may if you choose

but do you think you have real tears

or fears that make you choose

'If I wasn't real'

no tears would ever fall

'You know very well you're not real.'

no crystals

no nothing

nothing nothing

everything at awe

young, curious

Spinning, running, hiding

Tweedledum, mad---------------------------Tweedledee, happy

Looking, searching, seeing

Delightfully, revealing

a girl

saw herself

in her self

spiraling toward

the self she thought about which happened to be she

Who do I know?

a girl underground

a sound from a sound

a heartfelt soul face

that is who I know

Hello! :-) I have been reading "Alice in Wonderland" to my young daughters, a few pages at a time, and we are into the Looking Glass world now! I have always loved this classic story.

I love your poetry collection. It is so creative with the different poetic styles---each one is a gem. So very well-done! ~Lurana
