My Response To Billybuc 's challenge!

This hub is in response to " A writing challenge: The woman on mountaintop", the link to which is here.

I have read some of the responses to this challenge and I must admit they are all awesome.

Billybuc is an inspiration to everyone here and a master of his trade.

Therefore, this is my sincere request to him, to consider this just as a writing exercise, just a little effort from my side.

The picture in your hub is so beautiful and says so much. The proof can be seen in the hubs written by great writers here on HubPages, all interpreting it in their own beautiful way and all stories so wonderful, unique, and creative.

Hope you like my interpretation too. Thanks!

The clouds speaking to me

The clouds speaking to me

The Shimla Affair—Nature has music, if you are able to hear.

Anita woke up to the sound of the chirping of the birds. The gentle morning Sunshine was reflecting on her face, from outside the large French windows, of her elegant suite, in the lavish hotel.

It took her sometime, to figure out where she was, as she looked around in the tastefully decorated room.

And her eyes stopped, at the bed beside her.

There she was--- married now, and up there in the beautiful Hill station, Shimla for her honeymoon!

She was ecstatic for few moments, leisurely looking around the room, at the belongings, which her husband had left behind, while leaving hurriedly for his morning jogging session.

She looked out of the window at the inviting weather, the fragrant wind, the tall green trees and the mountain top.

Her mind was engrossed in some loving thoughts. Such thoughts, which occupy the mind of a person, who is experiencing, the feelings of deep love and emotions.

How magical does the mountain look;

Mighty yet Serene;

Why didn't I look at it so lingeringly before;

How wonderful is this morning;

Vivacious yet calm;

Why didn’t I feel the same before.

In the midst of Mother Nature

In the midst of Mother Nature

The beauty of Nature.

The beauty of Nature.

The Beauty of Nature: Sometimes you just want to do 'NOTHING.'

There are times in our lives, when you just want to do 'Nothing.'

Anita was perhaps in that state of mind, and she just wanted to enjoy 'this' very moment of her life.

But was she able to do so?

The Nature's peace, and the Sunshine flowing across the 'Deodar' trees, and the snow clad mountain tops, were so inviting, that she couldn't resist the call.

The Nature's freshness, flowing into her face;

Sunshine flowing through the 'Deodar' trees;

Angels calling out aloud, from the mountain top;

Come! Shed all your stress away, and join us!

How much solace; how so satisfying;

How necessary it is, to spend sometimes in the wild.

She had to go there, out in the open.

And there she was--standing there, barefooted, in the midst of the beautiful Nature. Her feet gently wet by the dew kissed green grass, were looking so soft and supple. There was a special, sweet fragrance all around, she had never sensed before. The fragrance of the greenery, the freshness of the pure air of the hills.

She stood there, staring endlessly, at the mighty mountain-----the symbol of positivism and strength.

And somehow to her amazement, it was looking back at her dew soft, innocent face!

Perhaps, she was trying to treasure, all those beautiful moments in her memory.

In the real World, there are moments, when you need motivation and inspiration and an iron will, to meet the mountain like challenges of life.

''Hey Anita! Enjoying the beautiful Nature."

She turned around to follow the voice, calling her name.

Now the ecstasy had doubled, as her husband stood there, looking lovingly at her sublime and enthusiastic face.

Beautiful Quotes:

Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

~~~John Muir
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley.
This is just a small piece, written spontaneously, in response to the lovely picture in billybuc's hub, the link to which is given above.
Many great writers and poets have written beautiful hubs in response to this, each one unique, and creative, and just wonderful.
My appreciations to all of them, and thanks to Bill, for always being an inspiration.
Hope you like it!
“Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity”
Voted UP, etc.
Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on November 07, 2014:
I think Eric said it best....you painted a verbal picture of peace and serenity. So many stories do not stand out because they are missing that special something. It is hard to define what that "something" is, but this has it.
Thank you for taking part in the challenge and for doing such a wonderful job with it.
Nithya Venkat from Dubai on November 07, 2014:
A beautiful story and a great response to the writing challenge. Your tale was magical, great write.
Charu Bhatnagar from India on November 07, 2014:
Hey Chitrangada, I am so happy that I found this hub. What beautiful language, awesome vocabulary and expression. The way you described nature's beauty, of the majestic mountains of Shimla was superb. I myself live in Shimla and it felt so good to read all the more. Shimla is a combination of city-scrapers and natural beauty. Since it is the capital of Himachal Pradesh, it is very much a congested city now. But it has parts, where the nature is at its best, there are views from where one won't want to move away. Once you start moving out of town, you'll see more beautiful parts of these hills and that feeling I could actually feel in this write-up. Thanks a lot. Though I really wanted that there be some lines more in the end. Fantastic it was, superb. Loved it.
Suzette Walker from Taos, NM on November 07, 2014:
