House Near the Farm

Author:

I write with passion and try to connect the situations in meaningful ways.

I am pleased for having nice and kind friends with me on HubPages. I have written this poem in response to John Hansen's challenge on sentence prompt. I am not much good at writing poems, but tried it just for the sake of Jodah (don't mind John; I like your this name). John said that he like poems, so here is mine. Have a read and enjoy my silly poem. LOL.

Hope is the last thing ever lost.

Hope is the last thing ever lost.

Wanted a house near the farm.

Wanted a house near the farm.

Big enough to keep life safe...

House means a lot for a waif...

Wonderful lights can't sometimes ease your pain...

Cars are vital to keeping life maintain...

And when brutality is on the peak...

Servants don't have the right to speak...

What is the reason for what you have gone...

Else is not essential if you lose your own...

She was a girl with ever-growing charm...

Wanted a house for herself near the farm...

Thank you so much for uplifting my heart, Manatita. First, I was finding a clumsiness in my poem. But I love to accept challenges.

And after finding you all very kind; I didn't hesitate while publishing it.

Thank you john; you gave me courage to step in the world of poetry. I love to write poetry but never published it before on hubpages. Your are certainly a beacon that offers help to newbies.

Have a blessed day!

I find a certain cuteness and charm in the way you express your English. Sweet!

Well, John was generous and your choice of words adds diversity and colour. Beautiful!

Thank you for attempting this challenge, EK. I know poetry was out of comfort zone, so you did very well. I like the name Jodah too lol. I added a link to this on my article.
