The Race and the Horse Named 'Meteor'
I love to live alone here in Colorado,
I love to live alone with cats;
I love to bake bread and biscuits—
I love to sing Rammstein songs,
I love to live alone in extreme peace.
But the Taliban in Afghanistan
is taking over the country — I witness this
news on the BBC World News; North
Korea is also testing an atom bomb
near Japan — I read this news on the
digital version on the Los Angeles Times
online.
I am a geek (not a gecko!) — I love to
consume news. But I also love to create
YouTube videos. I have 8 billion subscribers!
My videos have been watched 900
trillion times! I earn a million dollars
per month as YouTube money. . .
But I also love honey — I love to eat
Patanjali honey from India. Yea, it is
very good. It tastes like money.
Sunny is today's weather. But I love
leather over cotton. I love to eat
chicken and eggs. I stretch my legs
as wide as possible, and give birth
To a monkey-baby from my posterior hole.
America is the greatest country
in the world — there's no doubt about
it; but in Britain, 3 year olds pilot
jumbo jets — this is more amazing
than American activities in Iraq.
Jack Maa of Alibaba group is a true
champion of Chinese capitalism; but
Marxist thoughts are still alive in
China, that's why Suresh Raina
is the greatest cricketer India has
ever produced.
I am induced with survival thoughts
of "Man VS Wild" television program.
But like its anchor, I can not
eat raw spiders as breakfast.
I am the Sun, the moon, the stars,
the milky way galaxy, also Samsung
Galaxy. But Sir Richard Branson's
Virgin Galactic is the cause of
an uproar in Pakistan. I love
Pakistan and its food. This is good.
I open my mouth, and universes
trillions trillions of light years wide rise
from my belly, like gastric gas. I am
God of the SPACE. I am the race
and the horse
both in flight!

Well, that was quite a surreal poem if ever I read one.

Hi Aiden, I enjoyed reading your wonderful piece. It was like a journey to me. Living alone with cats and baking biscuits and breads is actually peaceful. You told truths that are hard to swallow but however are true.
I too cannot eat raw spiders ;) but I love to see people eating it. I am a Pakistani and I liked you saying that you like Pakistan and its food.
I loved how you summed it up saying “I am the race
and the horse both in flight!” Deep thoughts.

Thanks a lot for sharing.
Many Blessings to you!!
