The Devil’s Matrix: This World of Lies, Deceptions, Illusions & Distractions

James A. Watkins is an entrepreneur, musician, and a writer with four non-fiction books and hundreds of magazine articles read by millions.

The Devil's Matrix

The Devil’s Matrix is the latest book by James A. Watkins, a long time magazine article writer at HubPages. The book shows how a false reality has been purposefully created for Americans through the employment of Lies, Deceptions, Illusions & Distractions.

The back cover reads: Something is wrong with the world. A matrix has been constructed to imprison your mind. It blinds you to the truth. It enslaves you. Do you want to know the truth?

Since the Fall, there has been a cosmic war for the hearts and minds of men and women. The forces of darkness have created a false reality for you. The matrix has you. It is a prison for your mind. All I am offering is the truth. Nothing more.

Lies, Deceptions, Illusions & Distractions

The Devil’s Matrix begins by examining the Creation of this Cosmos and the origin of the Human Race. It quickly moves to a comparison of the spiritual forces that animated the American War of Independence and the French Revolution. Next comes a look at the sinister ideas put forward by Jacques Rousseau, Adam Weishaupt, and Auguste Comte, among others.

Charles Darwin and his Theory of Evolution gets a chapter, as does Karl Marx and his Communist Manifesto. Friedrich Nietzsche and Jean-Paul Sartre share a chapter, subtitled ‘Nihilism to Existentialism.’ From there, we proceed to an examination of the Soviet Union and the Third Reich.

Chapter eight explores psychology, psychiatry, and therapism. The Frankfort School of Cultural Marxism and its influence on American society are then explained. That is followed by the origin and aims of the religion of Secular Humanism.

Hollywood and the false reality of motion pictures are exposed, as is the programming of our minds through television. What follows are the biggies: brainwashing through public schools and American universities, the latter labeled ‘Lucifer’s Headquarters.’

Chapter 15 reveals how Science has become a god to some. Next up is a review of what’s so great about Western Civilization and why the Left wants to destroy it. The New World Order and the Antichrist receive chapters, and the book ends with what could be considered a three-chapter summary.

Summary of the Devil's Matrix

There is nothing more important than a proper perspective of reality. Clever people may say, “I’ve got my reality, and you’ve got yours,” but that is phony. There is an objective reality and since so many disagree as to what it is, it ought to be obvious that some people perceive reality better than others. Or have better guides.

All sorts of guides are available. The Internet provides almost unlimited information about everything. But not all information is true; not all information is knowledge. And surely, not all knowledge represents wisdom.

The most obvious fact about the truth is that it is permanent. It is true whether you believe it or not. You cannot change it. You can only seek it. You can only see it with a humble heart.

Because of all this, if evil exists and expresses itself through persons and movements and ideologies, evil would be quite prone to hoodwink others. To create false narratives. To obscure the truth. To hide it. To use lies, deceptions, illusions & distractions to put your mind in a matrix.

Some people like it in there. They are comfortable. They don’t have to think. They do not care to know the truth. This book is not for them.

Author Bio

James A. Watkins is an entrepreneur, musician, and writer. A lifelong student of history, theology, and politics; he loves people, books, music, and motion pictures. An autodidact and a voracious reader who had read the entire Encyclopedia Britannica by the age of twelve, James always has been a convivial conversationalist and a gentlemanly generalist. Well-traveled, with an outlandish array of personal experiences, he made a living for decades as a singer, musician, and songwriter, playing thousands of public performances; then set records as a salesman in several fields; before owning and operating an aviation company for many years that specialized in private jet charters for the rich and famous. James set out to reinvent himself as a writer and published hundreds of Internet magazine articles, which have been read by millions, before writing now four non-fiction books.

Betty A F ~ You made my day with this message. Of course I will be more than happy to sign it for you. Thank you so much for your gracious compliments on my work.

Betty A F from Florida on November 14, 2020:

Hey James! I got my book two days ago. I wasn't able to start reading it until last night. Things have been busy here.

So far it's excellent! I'm on the third chapter.

I had a hard time putting it down last night to get some sleep. As soon as I had a cup of coffee in my hands this morning I grabbed this book and have been reading since.

I'm loving all of the information about the history of our nation, and the clear ties to Christianity with our Founding Fathers.

I'm learning a lot from your research!

I don't want to give too much away. But I wanted to let you know that this is truly an outstanding and informational book. I'm glad I bought it!

When I'm finished reading, maybe I can send it to you and have you sign it! :)

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on November 11, 2020:

It get's here tomorrow. Can't wait!

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on November 06, 2020:

Fin ~ Thank you so much for reading my article announcing the publication of my latest book. I appreciate your interest. I should update this with a few excellent reviews that have come since I wrote it.

The sections on television and motion pictures are a couple of my favorites. Your father was a wise man. We still have TV in our house, mostly to binge watch certain series, especially European murder mysteries, which my wife and I share an avidity for.

I appreciate your correspondence.

Finn from Barstow on November 05, 2020:

Sounds like an interesting read. And it covers the spectrum of history. I'm particularly interested in the Hollywood influence on our contemporary psyche and I take it the idiot box chapter is just about that...the TV. I have gotten rid of my television (years ago) and remember my father quoting someone who said that our enemies won't invade us, they will take us over with the TV.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on September 20, 2020:

Mr. Smith ~ Thank you so much for coming by to read my article about my new book. I am humbly honored by your kind remarks here. I appreciate your interest in my book and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it after you read it. Thanks again!

Mr. Smith from Indiana on September 18, 2020:

James, you've always been an inspiration to me. Now that I have time in retirement to get to my reading list, I'll add The Devil’s Matrix to it. Congratulations!

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 28, 2020:

PT ~ I have no idea. I didn't do it. I will go over and take a look.

Why am I locked out on your global Climate Control?

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 23, 2020:

Dora Weithers ~ Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to check out my book. You are most welcome.

Dora Weithers from The Caribbean on August 21, 2020:

"The most obvious fact about the truth is that it is permanent." I like, I believe it. I like all your book titles including this one. I'm sure they're all interesting and will put on my to-do list. Thank you for tackling these issues.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 21, 2020:

Nell Rose ~ It is a distinct pleasure to hear from you, my fellow author. If you do read my book, I would appreciate some feedback from you about it. I am with you on this: "I spot stuff that to me is so obvious I cannot understand why others don't see it!"

Thank you for visiting and letting me know you did, Nell.

Nell Rose from England on August 21, 2020:

Definitely sounds one to read James. I have my own theories that a lot of people probably think are out there, but this year stuff has fit into a sort of obvious line that makes sense in a horrible way. In plain English I spot stuff that to me is so obvious I cannot understand why others don't see it!

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 15, 2020:

Stephen A Brown ~ I appreciate the visit. I will be thrilled if you do indeed buy my new book. If you do, I will be quite interested to hear your thoughts on it after you read it.

I had not heard of Nicholas Hagger. I appreciate you telling me about him. I just read reviews of three of his books.

I too am opposed to a theocracy - a nation run by the Church - or a communist utopia -- the latter a thousand times more so having taken a long hard look at its wreakage already wreaked. Thank you for your congratulations on my newest effort.

Stephen A Brown on August 14, 2020:

This sounds like a very fascinating read James. I will definitely plan to buy your book even though I am politically moderate. I think that you would find the English author Nicholas Hagger interesting. He writes considerably about the the Freemasonic origins of America and the Luciferian New World Order. In my personal opinion, I believe that the current state of affairs in our country can be blamed on both parties and that they are carrying out something called the Hegelian Dialectic. As smart and intellectual as you are, I assume you know what it is that I am talking about. This dual party system is leading this country down the path of destruction and neither cares about the average citizen. For one party it is a theocracy; for the other it is a communist utopia; both of which I am against. Congrats on your new book.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 14, 2020:

Pamela Oglesby ~ Thank you for checking out my article about my new book. It is off to a good start, # 1 among new releases in its category. Which was quite a pleasant and welcome surprise.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 14, 2020:

Mark Richardson ~ You are so right. Thank you for the visitation. If you check out my book, I would greatly appreciate it if you post a review of it on Amazon.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 14, 2020:

Lorna Lamon ~ I appreciate you taking the time to come and visit and read my article. My book is quite wide-ranging alright. A soundbite it isn't. A quest for truth is precisely what it is about. Good call.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 14, 2020:

Devika Primić ~ Thank you for reading my article and expressing interest in my book. I would love it if you would review the book on Amazon. And I am glad you liked my bio.

James A Watkins (author) from Chicago on August 13, 2020:

Chungle ~ Thank you very much for taking the time to read my article. I am so glad to receive your kind compliments on it.

Pamela Oglesby from Sunny Florida on August 13, 2020:

Considering where the USA is at the moment I imagine this book is a wealth of information on a variety of people and topics The table of contents shows us the topics covered in this book, and it sounds great, James.

Mark Richardson from Utah on August 13, 2020:

Looks interesting. There is definitely deception, which the liberal media definitely contributes to.

Lorna Lamon on August 13, 2020:

You appear to have covered a plethora of topics in this book. It certainly sounds like a fascinating read in light of what is happening at the moment; a quest for the truth. As a psychologist I would definitely find this interesting.

Devika Primić from Dubrovnik, Croatia on August 13, 2020:

Hi James you have a fascinating Bio and I am glad to have stopped by here. Well don! Sounds a great idea for a book. Will have to review on Amazon.

T ~ Thank you much for purchasing a copy of my book, The Devil's Matrix. And you are welcome.

Yes, I did see that website because I thought about using that URL for a book page if no one had it but that's OK. I don't think I need it. Other than that, a search for my title doesn't come up with much, which is good.

T on August 12, 2020:

Amazon offered me $10 off the purchase for reloading $100 onto my amazon gift card entered on amazon!

Leslie McCowen from Cape Cod, USA on August 12, 2020:

I would never read it, but congrats! Writing a book is tremendous. My hat’s off to you.
