The Day Demo The Cow Went Missing

Author:

I Don't Where Demo The Cow Could Be

It all started when my daughter Nancy wanted to milk the cow. She walked over to where Demo the cow is down in the back of the barn. A few boys were patting her earlier and we decided to come back later. Bails of hay stacked on either side. The barn was almost quiet if it wasn't for a horse eating an apple in the middle of a stall. Demo, Demo where are you? You have been my favorite for years. She is fourteen years old now and she had been coming back ever since she was six years old year to see Demo. A few years ago Demo got real sick and we didn't she was going to get better. She surprised us then she surprised now. There you are. You must have wandered off to take a walk. My daughter gave Demo a big hug. I know where you must have been visiting your true love a cow in another barn named Rep. The cows have such funny names. All the kids have named all the animals. What they were thinking or where they got the ideas who knows? What a wonderful day it was. After my daughter spent some time milking the cow I said we have to go. As we walked away I swear Demo winked back at us.There are other cows but Demo and Rep are the most famous cows of them all.

Gypsy Rose Lee Cows certainly have a lot of time on their hands. Since they aren't going anywhere fast. The love between animals is something we don't see but we know it has to be there. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and share. May tomorrow be another good and productive day.

Lorna Lamon I can only dream of what farm life would be like. I thought living on Little House On The Prarie would have been exciting. I know it is also a hard life. So many things to do. Always busy. Spending lots of time with animals. I let my imagination go into the wild. I try to take thoughts of today and make it fun with animals.Thank you for reading and sharing. Every day we could use one more smile. Have a beautiful afternoon.

Glad Demo showed up and glad they have such a friendship. I always wondered what cow talked about between themselves.

You have brought a smile to my face with this whimsical story Dream On. I was brought up on a farm and still live on one and we have always named our animals. They have the weirdest names, and yet somehow they suit their very different personalities. Fate perhaps. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt story which I enjoyed.
