The Sophistication of Love Divine, by Manatita

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Blossoming flowers in Yorkshire Dales,

Speak to me in the language of the Soul.

Like Love, they weave an exquisite

And bewildering pattern;

An inner sunrise flowering in the heart.

As I watch, drops glisten on the petals like pearls;

I fly to the lap of my Lover's Sanctuary.

With a charming smile,

A chiselled frame with delicate fingers,

Lift up the offered roses with charisma,

As the sweet sacrifice of the fragrance

Permeates Her being.

Ah! Such an intense moment!

Time stands still today.

I reach out and touch Her,

Scroll to Continue

My fingers move with longing for Her twisted braids.

Ridge of Her nostrils, lips, chin … and so I continue.

I take in the wonder of drunken bliss in my Spirit’s core.

Painting artistry in Her silhouette;

Tasting paradise with Her response,

Lingeringly, I absorb the majesty of the Mother’s Delight:

Nape of the neck; midline contours …

A magnificent silhouette surrendering,

Yet alive to every longing that I pen with subtlety.

I bedazzle at Her enchantment.

As Her sweet smile glimmers,

Her sweet frame nourishes my every touch;

We become one, each moment made glorious by Her Love.

Alas! I am in a meadow of fragrant flowers;

Rhododendrons have transported me,

To an ethereal realm of things surreal.

I reach out, smell the dahlias, and retreat into my thoughts.

With bowed head I confess - I am a lover of blossoming flowers, blossoming Love of the infinite sublime power of your heart's pen and the language of your soul, the exquisite dreams of Love so Divine.

Deb brought this beautiful poem back around and I just had to come read and bathe in the Light of Beauty and excellence once again.

Deb Hirt from Stillwater, OK on November 20, 2014:

Thanks Genna.

I wanted to push it a little bit. Not too far :) My Gratitude to you for a rather exquisite sentiment. Much Mehta.

Ah Mary,

I sometimes do the things I know that I should be wary of. Probably because I'm confident I can. Still, you seem to know me well. More than most. I have to agree with Genna that there's beauty there, but risky for my calling, of course. You know this, perhaps more than anyone else.

Remembering you with much love this Sunday. Regards to the family.

Mary Craig from New York on October 26, 2014:

Ah Manatita you surprise me with your earthy poem and images of love. Beautifully done my friend. "Her sweet frame comes alive to my every touch" leads the imagination in but one way, a way of love filled beauty.

Voted up, awesome, and beautiful.

Genna East from Massachusetts, USA on October 26, 2014:

To give of the ultimate beauty of nature is perhaps the purest expression of love – whether spiritually, or in the dreams of the unfulfilled. You have captured this so well! Voted up and shared.

Thank you Ruby.

A little earthy with a sort of anti-climax, a gentle tease. I will not take it to the pinnacle, no worries.

Thanks for being a favourite fan. Higher blessings and Love and Light.

Ruby Jean Richert from Southern Illinois on October 20, 2014:

Your poetry is sublime with a touch of seductiveness which is beautiful!

manatita44 (author) from london on October 20, 2014:

Thank you, Bill.

Good to know this. Then read Poesia Cantata 2, a.m then Poesia Cantata 1, the next day. They both have additions, and are two of my inspirational poems.

I read Sri Chinmoy's peace Aphorisms a.m. They come with a backdrop and music which is incredible, and a monument of Light commissioned by Yoko Ono in Iceland or Finland, I believe. I'm following your thoughts. Just done a piece on America. Thanks Bro.

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on October 20, 2014:

I save beautiful poetry for my morning read so I can start the day in a great mood. Thank you for this beauty.

Phyllis Doyle Burns from High desert of Nevada. on October 19, 2014:

Yes, I did pick up on the earthy - well done. Your ending msg is like my "Walk in Peace and Harmony".

Phyllis Doyle Burns from High desert of Nevada. on October 19, 2014:

Goodnight Manatita, sweet friend. Yes, I misplaced the Awakening the Inner Light or Light Within' . Sleep well and many hugs to you.

manatita44 (author) from london on October 19, 2014:

My Sweet Phyllis,

'Awakening the Inner Light or Light Within' is more like the purpose of my writing. It is not part of the video. I use it at the end of many poems and prose. A bit like Bill's 'helping writers to spread their wings and fly'

Cute video, yes, and have you noticed I made this poem a little earthy? Much love this pleasant evening. I must go to bed. Came back from Scotland and it is 0200 hrs here. Not much sleep these last 72 hrs.

Before I say goodnight my Beloved Friend, lots and lots of Hugs to you. I have noted that you have a long Hub. I will read it tomorrow, Inshal'lah. Night.

Phyllis Doyle Burns from High desert of Nevada. on October 19, 2014:

Lovely poem, Manatita. The video is very delightful - awakening the light within.
