Sankhajit Bhattacharjee Poem 257

Scientific Research Fellow in University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee

Technology (Sonnet)

She was your friend in school.

You got her in Facebook.

Once he swam with you in swimming pool.

His WhatsApp message: Smell, when I cook.

You pay no heed to your next door.

Someone is dead.

You shut window- so poor!

Listen to songs to soothe your head!

Technology is a boon.

It made far too near.

Technology is a goon.

You have high plus power!

Let technology be your slave.

Never confine your humanity within an enclave.

Make technology work for you...it can be a friend.

But it can be an enemy too..just sayin
