SG Week creates friendship

The CPAC Student Government Department hosted an SG Week from October 9 to 14, 2022 for the purpose of an academic break

CPACians, specifically the Student Government Officers, hosted an academic break for CPACians to build a strong foundation with each other and to maintain healthy relationships and lives with each other as a CPACian family. According to Martin Womboisi, "The power of socializing is like a tool that unlocks someone from the worries of life." Before this event happened, there were many things SG officers encountered, like: the gym for basketball was not yet ready; the oval for soccer and softball; the field for Larong Lahi; each department's tent or booth; and many others. It was not easy preparing everything because a week before the SG week was an exam week. As Ms. Pat once said, "Everything was not yet prepared. However, we believe that we serve a living God who helps and is always ready to sustain our needs. So, let's continue; let's socialize; let's keep everything healthy and enjoyable”. The activity continued. All students participated in every activity conducted. Teachers supported the students in any aspect, especially in each department. The one-week activity was not only for socialization but also for the growth of each one's healthy relationship with God. Every activity started with morning devotionals and ended with evening devotionals.

The 1-week activity was exhausting yet enjoyable. Every school did their parts to be the best school or department in every activity, sport, and showcasing of talents and skills. The SET Department was announced as the overall champion. The SASED Department took first place, the B-THEO was in second place, and the SON took third place. Despite the win or lose situation, students were able to conquer and win the hearts of every student, for they believed that God commanded them in John 15:12-13. "My command is this: love each other as I have loved you." "Greater love has no one than to lay down one's life for one's friends." The event was a success. It was a memoir of the CPACian family.
