Resilient Soul
A graduate of Psychology who finds writing poems therapeutic. A caring mother, loving wife, compassionate counselor, and music lover.
Life's a mess
Trials come like a pouring rain
Storms and stresses overflow
Unruffled by the blow
Dreams fogged
Vagueness overwhelmed
Persistency prevailed
Until a rainbow can be seen
Challenges of life continue
As struggles may come and go
A brave soul conquers
A lionheart brings home the butter
Finding rest in the presence of the Divine
Inspired by loved ones and friends
Motivated by aspirations
A resilient soul emerged

Jocelyn,
I felt like i am on a Flight that safely landed in the end.
Sort of relief. Very well constructed and beautiful poem too.
Do check my poem 'roof is seeping', it has a similar touch.

Hi, Surabhi! My name is considered common though. :-) I am glad you are inspired by my writing in the same way that I appreciated yours. Speaking of challenges, yes you're right, and all we need is to have faith, to be strong and to live life to the fullest.

Aying, this is very inspiring. Yes, challenges continue, for they aren't stop signs... they're guidelines. Well done!
