FLAMES
Embers that sparked a flame
Need gentle breezes to stay lit
Dry twigs and wood of discarded frame
On the flame's tongue;taste of meat
Harsh cyclones are not to blame
When the fireman closes his eyes to doze
As such is a hunter whose eyes wandered from his game;
An Eskimo whose exposed igloo froze
Bonfires whose crackle amaze
Need tending and care;lest they raze
Flickering candles in a windy breeze;
Without a cupping,their flames cease
