I am lover of poetry and this is my passion. I am a librarian by profession as well.
I remember the day,
when the government had to say,
the COVID-19 is on its way,
to spread the worst scenario and we need to pay.
A day before the lockdown,
I decided to stay with my mother’s in town,
in order to be nearer with my company’s crown,
leaving my family for a week to get a pawn.
The metropolis lockdown Sunday begins,
I reported for work on a Monday in chin,
But on a Tuesday, worst, I didn’t report for a living,
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, stay at home and praying.
Saturday morning, I decided to the rural to get back,
Using the neighbor’s bicycle, head my things in pack,
More than 50 kilometers with the wheel to jack,
To stay with my family, for better or the rock.
Today, its been already the lockdown 20th day,
Tomorrow will be the 21st day on the hay,
That I am experiencing the no work no pay,
In which, it sacrifices the old lazy decay.
How many days left before the lockdown will end?
How many days that we will defend?
Our weak and crazy body in bend?
That we will survive up to the best to tend?

ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (ECQ)
During the lockdown, people needs to stay at home
For the safety against the COVID-19 in dawn
Only officials and front liners are on shown
To fight to avoid or lessen the COVID-19 to withdrawn.
Government were bombarded by people,
For the decision of ECQ, that was incredible,
Living all with work not anymore workable,
For the sake of health safety with the virus untouchable.
How can we fight with this kind of virus?
That seems more stronger than cancer and lupus,
That has a chance to cure with a longer days incubus,
Rather than staying in the house fighting curious.
I am getting more sicker and sicker
While staying at home makes me more like the Thinker,
Thinking were to get a food for my family like a Baker,
Struggling to ask for a money from my friends and Banker.
When the ECQ will end,
Are we ready to face the challenges to defend,
Our weak body from remainder of the virus on send,
Working against for another virus on apprehend?

We ask for work, they gave us foods.
We ask for love, they gave us goods.
We ask for relief, they gave us crooks.
We ask for something, they gave us looks.
During the lockdown, most of us are no work no pay,
No food on plate to pray all throughout the day,
The promised government support is on delay,
That we cannot workout our stomach on decay.
No relief goods given on the first week,
A 4.5 kilos of rice given on the second week,
On the third week, promises make more weak,
On the fourth week, we don’t know what to expect to leak.
Some municipalities and cities given almost a sack of rice,
Canned goods, noodles and milk for their first week on dice.
Another relief goods on the second week making them so nice,
But some cities like in my place, praying when to get the slice.
A 4.5 kilos of rice is already enough for the entire lockdown,
They simply giving only part of spice to the friends on crown,
But for those who are not friends, do not ask for more to shown,
Because you will be experiencing more in crazy drown.

Why people doesn’t know what is social distancing?
They keep on moving out to buy something
In order to feed their family from nothing
From the small amount they have for picking.
They’ve gone to the place like bank and market,
To fill their empty and fabulous basket
In order to go back to their family with a bucket
Like what I am doing to energize the socket.
When people is out, it should be one meter in distance,
Falling in line or talking each other for instance.
To get something as a way of cash advance,
As a source of helping our needs in extravagance.
Why people do not know how the social distancing will show?
Instead of two people every meter, but three in every cow.
Am I paranoid to observe the distance against the bow?
So that social distancing people will ever know.
