"I say there...Good Heavens...You must have decorum...whilst in the Forum"

"I say there...Good Heavens...You must have decorum...whilst in the Forum"

Please Don't Ignore 'Em on the Forum...

That could lead to excessive boredom...

Even worse...it lacks decorum...

Talk to all those on the Forum...Try not to Abhor some...

If you have hard feelings...try to sort them...

If you Ignore them...You may appear more dumb...

More Than...Anyone Else that is on the Forum.

please-dont-ignore-em-on-the-forum

There's no need to unite a quorum...

To debate against one...in the Forum...

And No Need for you to Bore Them...

With Unsortly Lack...of Decorum...

Don't Ignore 'Em...Juz' Be For 'Em!

please-dont-ignore-em-on-the-forum

Don't stick your nose up...or Stick out like a Sore Thumb...

When you are out amongst them...in the Forum...

No One ever said you had to Adore Them...

However...Don't take this as your Turn to Roar Some...

please-dont-ignore-em-on-the-forum

Get up off the Floor, Bum...

Your disclosures are purely doldrum...

Trolling around...and acting More Dumb...

You're not above us...We've been keeping Score Some...

You Big Super Snob...who clears his throat and says..."Or...UUUM!"

please-dont-ignore-em-on-the-forum

So...A Few Words...While participating in the Forum...

Should you totally ignore all reasonable means of decorum...

If you've mixed words...Then try your best to Restore Them...

In consensus... All Abhor to think you Know More, Bum...

Though if we measured...your swelled head...you unusual flowering (*) Marum...

Once calculated its' circumference is > than all the heads needed for a quorum...

please-dont-ignore-em-on-the-forum

Of any "Elitists" or "Snobs" here...One more point in Store For 'Em...

Do not act like you're so far above those writing upon the Forum...

Let this message sink into your thick head...like blasted by a (**) Larum...

Or be instilled in your cranium...Like someone who has installed a (***) Lorum...

Wisdom handed down to us all...that has been given to us at a Premium...

I'll make this message known...while speaking towards your throne, (****) Fogrum...

You are "The King of Boredom"...Trying to dispose wit to all...When you only Bore 'Em...

Those on the Forum have More Decorum...Then Your "Stuck-Up" Ways...You Poor Bum...

You think you're so Great and show it...But how are we to know it...When you treat others like Floor Crumb...

Please...Change your ways...For all your days... And Don't Ignore 'Em on the Forum!

ralwus...Ha! Do you think that...perhaps...it might have been too ostentatious of a me to write of this...from my tractor! I see that the irony of this...was not lost on you, my friend...Glad you liked this one. Thanks for the comment.

Tom Cornett: Appreciate the comment. This one was juz' about having lots of fun...with this here poem...But, it does seem to strike a familiar chord or two...to our own Forum...in several respects! Thanks for stopping by and visiting this Hub poem. Good to share a few typed with words with you. Hope to talk with ya' some more...down the road!

Tom Cornett from Ohio on September 23, 2009:

Candie V - Ha...Good one! Just having fun the "Manly" Poetry Man way, CV. However: What a novel thought though...Truly...your "wit" and humor is always on display here in Hubberville. HHHMMM...I'm going to go hook that plow attachment up now...and see if that just don't do the trick...

Candie V from Whereever there's wolves!! And Bikers!! Cummon Flash, We need an adventure! on August 30, 2009:

Maybe if you drove your tractor with the lovely plow attachment into the forums you could 'weed out' the nay-sayers and evil-doers!

wesleycox: Carry on, Soldier...Go attack all Snobs in the Forum! Even if that's not what you meant by writing a hub on forums...I couldn't resist saying that previous statement...though anyways. Appreciate you stopping by and commenting on this "Manly" poem hub on the forum. Glad it brought you a laugh. If I can get one of our own military folks to laugh...while serving us...out in the field...then ...that honestly...makes my day. Be very careful out there! Sincerly, MPM.

tantrum: No need to say anything...tantrum...your eye gives it away. Can someone get some oxygen for tantrum, please... See? It don't take much to enter the "Dead Zone" (Forum topic-that doesn't seem to be getting anywhere). tantrum... you have made me ROFLMAO several times...so you were due, my friend! Thanks for your comment...as always, MPM

Shalini Kagal: You're too kind. Really glad you had fun with the ol' "Manly" Poetry Poem...especially one aimed right at snobs...I wonder what interestingly and unusual topic...I could do next on Hubbers and their ways? HHMMMM... Will Ponder that one. Thanks for your comments and for becoming a fan...I see. Yes...we do need to laugh and smile more...Well said. Humbly, MPM.

MPM would like to thank all his great fans and friends for

reading his "Manly" Poems....If you stop in and say "Hi" for awhile in the comment section...that is even better. Becuz' then...It proves you're not a SNOB...HA-HA! Have a great and awesome day...or Night!

Shalini Kagal from India on August 28, 2009:

tantrum from Tropic of Capricorn on August 28, 2009:

LOL! LOL! LOL!I can't say anything I'm choking to death with laughter LOL! Such irony LOL!

wesleycox from Back in Texas, at least until August 2012 on August 28, 2009:

This is very funny, I enjoyed reading it. I also plan on writing a hub on forums. Thanks for the laughs

ManlyPoetryMan (author) from (Texas) Boldly Writing Poems Where No Man Has Gone Before... on August 27, 2009:

Shalini Kagal: It is really not as complicated...or intended at someone..as it might appear. It really is all in fun. If it hits someone square in the chest...and they lighten up on folks in the forum... good! If it makes folks laugh or smile...even better! Thanks for stopping by and reading this one, Shalini...Stop by and visit any time...there's alot more "Manly" Poetry of all kinds...in my lil' part of Hub World.

Shalini Kagal from India on August 27, 2009:

Interesting, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable - now to figure out the whos and whats and wherefores :)

ManlyPoetryMan (author) from (Texas) Boldly Writing Poems Where No Man Has Gone Before... on August 27, 2009:

Candie V: Maybe, there is hope...that someone with a big 'tude...will stop by..and get the inference...that is directed primarily...right at 'em! There is always Hope!(Or...not!) In the meantime...the "good people"...like yourself... are better off with out those who like to find a way to tear us down. And Candie...my friend...we all know someone's always gunning for "good people"! (w/o fail) Have a great day, CV! Thanks for your comment.

Candie V from Whereever there's wolves!! And Bikers!! Cummon Flash, We need an adventure! on August 27, 2009:

Like anyone who isn't going to obey the rules would read a fine hub like this.. kinda locking a car door only keeps out the honest people.. But maybe by some chance someone will see the error of their ways...

ManlyPoetryMan (author) from (Texas) Boldly Writing Poems Where No Man Has Gone Before... on August 27, 2009:

Dear Friends of Hub World...I hope that you were taking notes on proper points to discussing things amongst yourselves while conversing on the Forum.

Maven101: Yes...It is quite possible...Good Sir. Although...I do not know if I have any more of that "et-i-quette" stuff left in me. My Ma' always set me straight in them ways...when I was a youngin'... UNLIKE...Many I've had the disfortune to discuss with upon the Forum! (Hey...I'm just kidding! We have some...repeat some...of the nicest folks I've ever seen typing amongst themselves on our particular Forum...I'm just having Fun the Manly Poetry Man Way!) As Always M101...(Sounds 007-ish...?)...Thanks for your comment!

erin boote: Actually...No. It was not done in spite or anger against anyone on the Forum...Unless...you have someone in particular in mind? (If you do just E-mail their name and I'll slip it in here... somewhere!) Oh...that's right...you say you're unfamiliar with the Forum. You should try to get over there...some erin...It can be fun. Emphasis...on "can". No...in all honesty...this one was done...for pure-"d"-fun...Always appreciate you stopping in and leaving a comment, erin...Thanks!

advisor: Yes! (Ok...you pass this Hub Poem with flying colors...I'm looking around for a Gold Star to stick on the screen next to your comment!) Seriously...I agree with everything you have said. And also...quite frankly...many on the Forum...and while commenting...or even while writing...could adhere to every principal you just mentioned. I always try to go the long way around to not offend...although...some folks are just trying to get a bur under your saddle. For them...I unleash...my ever-present wit!

Why Can't We All Just Get Along! (HHHHMMM...Something familiar about that title...?) I have battled out on Forums before I came to this prestigious Hub World...so I have seen all the classic internet personalities before. If anything...Hub Pages has a good level of decorum. Many, many good people are on here! Some places you visit in cyber-space...can have you start gnawing on your keyboard...Ha! The thing...I really like about Hub Pages is the international aspect to it. Mainly...it is easier on Hub pages to see that someone is from New Zealand or India...etc. But...I went off on a tangent...so let me say that thing you said about opinions...is "spot-on"...totally agree with everyone has one...and needs to respect where the other one is coming from with theirs. Besides...Like WE WOULD ever agree on Everything with Everyone...Yeah...like that's going to ever happen...! advisor...Thanks for chimin' in on this one...good to have your input. Hope all see the points you made here...Humbly...just ol' MPM.

advisor4qb from On New Footing on August 26, 2009:

I know some people do get bent out of shape from discussions on the forum. Funny, I post whatever thought happens across my mind about the subject at hand and move on. I don't bother going back and looking to see how someone else responded to my post, and the same usually with comments, especially on other people's hubs. I never intend to offend anyone, but some people are just naturally easily offended.

If someone were to have the gall to actually email me and say they had been offended, I may or may not apologize, but I would apologize that they had misunderstood my expression of opinion. It would never have been an intentional slight!

But by the same token,

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We are all part of one universal family, and we really should try to be more understanding of each other's feelings about different things in life. If we all agreed on everything, there would be nothing to discuss!

erin boote from Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on August 26, 2009:

OKay Manlypoetryman, It's quite a little ditty and I'm assuming that you are directing this at someone..of course, on the forum, which I'm unfamiliar with. QUITE rythmic as it was, and it definitely has been expressive. You are always entertaining.

Larry Conners from Northern Arizona on August 26, 2009:

My, My, manlypoetryman...have you morphed into the Emily Post of HubPages...? Cute take on forum etiquette...Thanks, Larry
