His Heart
Stirred,
even in its winter season.
its springtime to come,
to blossom forth
unrestrained.
The divine gift
dormant,
its spark of divinity
ready to burst forth.
Her Heart
Already ready,
beating
with expectation,
that precognition
that all that is meant to be
will be.
Two Hearts

Cupid's arrows,
as bees to flowers,
find their goal
unerringly,
and Cupid moves on.
The anticipated
rush and excitement,
like that of
the pollinated flowers,
sets two lovers
in delighted
sharing.
