Our Topsy Turvy World

Lush growth of beauty.

Lush growth of beauty.

Aim for Happinesss. Life is Short.

Too dry, Too hot, No shade.

People thirst and worry,

Too wet, Bad drains... so floods,

People cold and they worry.

This never ending turmoil

of our ridiculous world,

While children die from hunger,

Yet Obese is a common word.

C'est la vie, C'est la vie.

Where only cactus will grow.

Where only cactus will grow.

our-topsy-turvy-world

C'est La Vie

Drugs to make us better,

Don't always reach the needy,

Drugs to take for pleasure,

Abound and kill so many.

Our earth so filled with beauty,

Scroll to Continue

It also can be hell.

No telling which will be your lot,

So please be grateful for what you've got..

C'est La Vie. C'est La Vie.

Healthy baby born in the right place. Millions are not so lucky.

Healthy baby born in the right place. Millions are not so lucky.

Long life? Short life? Who can tell?

Sickness killing or healthy living.

Mother nature playing tricks,

You can survive if you are willing,

To go with flow of the life you get.

Take deep breaths and do your best.

Glass half full. It never wavers

C'est la vie. C'est la vie.

Who can help ... do some favours?

Tell me , please, if you do know,

Which way now, this mad world should go?

C'est La Vie

C'est La Vie

C'est La Vie.

Thank you debbie.

A beautiful comment and oh so true.

At the end of the day there is someone in control high above us.

Hello Sweet Dim.. this poem is so true and so full of reality we can get down so easy if we look to this world.. I know we hurt and cry and the world can keep our eyes covered.. but we need to take blinders off and look to our Lord.. we would be much happier.. I know so many times I look around me and just cry at the hurt this world causes but I have to remember Our Lord.. What He did for us.. Bless you for writing this.. It is so true..

Good poems. Man but very real. People swim the summer while others suffer water's rage.

"C'est la Vie" indeed! What an incredible poem with a powerful message. When you consider this planet's condition with famine, droughts, poverty, wars, extreme weather events, the haves and the have nots, racism, terrorism, pollution, greed, crime, drugs, guns and so on, and so on, and so on, some days I feel like this world is going to hell in a hand basket. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us. (Voted Up)

Dim Flaxenwick,

Wow, I love what you've done here... I agree with all of the extremes! Happy, sad, good and bad some are choices, some are not. Wow... I'll be pondering this one for days! Some adorable pictures too!

reat write .. like the descriptions of our ever changing world, we are what we make our lives to be in most cases .. but a lot of humans never get that choice.. sadly.!~
