My Mother My Guiding Light-Poems
Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.
This is a poem that I wrote for my mother. Words cannot express how much I love my mother, but still, I have tried to write a poem from my heart.
My dear mother,
I do not find the words, I fear
To express all that is deep within my heart
I LOVE YOU, Mother
More than these words can express
You held my hand
You showed me the way
To stand up and fight and not run away
When I was deep in trouble
You were always there
You held my hand, guided me
You showed me you care
You embraced me
With unconditional love
Your words of wisdom and inspiration
Kept me going on the right path
My path to my destination
Without you mom
I would be lost and alone
Not knowing which way to go
Which way to turn
I love you, mom
It is all because of you
I am here where I am
Having succeeded too
I can never repay
By words or deeds
The kindness and love
You have always given me
Mother
I love you
Mother - An Acrostic Poem
My friend philosopher guide
Ocean of unconditional love
Tender loving and kind
Heavenly angel blessed
Ever ready to help and support
Reassuring presence always
With You Mother
When the day was bright
We had fun we played
In the dark of the night
You chased monsters away
We saw the moon
The twinkling stars
We played in the sand
We chased butterflies
In our own world
We fought with great might
Won over lost kingdoms
With the spirit of the knights
We had courage
We had strength
To stand upright
Never give up
Without a fight
With you mother
Everything was bright
The sky always blue
The grass always green
The rain always gentle
The wind a refreshing dream
Mother
You gave me hope
You were always there by my side
And even today
You cheer me on
I know I can count on you
When I am lost and forlorn
Mother
You are my guiding light
