My Hub Pages Friends I'll Never See: A Poem

Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

A Brief Introduction

Since I am known for hardly leaving any comments, at least I wanted to show how I truly appreciate my Hub Pages friends, including those "secret ones" who never bother leaving a comment (which serves me right), but still read my crap.

Thank you all.

Many virtual people have touched our heart

from Jesus to the Buddha, to untold others

from us in time and space being far apart

yet, somehow becoming soul brothers.

In childhood we all had our imaginary friend

one that never existed outside of our mind

that's how it comes easier to understand

how many virtual friends we could find.

It's in this friendly network called Hub Pages

where many hearts have managed to meet

ones of all different mentalities and ages

making of that site a friendship retreat.

Now no day may pass without dropping by

refreshing a feeling of being each other's fan

to read some posts, and say "Thanks", or a "Hi"

while renewing this friendship as best as we can.

We are all friends as even fingers don't look same

so let's cherish each moment we spend together

embracing differences between our mind frame

no matter if we're birds of a different feather.

Never to meet each other, except for this way

creating good memories that we cannot lose

and in our mind friends we may forever stay

connected by more than by a writing Muse.
