My Hidden Paradise

Poetry is turning out to be a very cathartic medium, I should do this more often.

Set the Mood

What's paradise without a body of water?

What's paradise without a body of water?

Through enemies and their obstacles,

We smashed right on through.

They stepped into the lion's den,

And, oh, the day they rued.

Trampled beneath our feet,

We stayed in stride.

Looking on to greener pastures,

Not a care and no chide.

Stepping through the blackened door,

We entered my hidden paradise.

Koi ponds, a pool, jacuzzi, and peace,

Now all I need is a stiff drink with ice.

Won't you come and let down your hair, if only for a minute?

Won't you come and let down your hair, if only for a minute?

Take a look at what is on offer,

Rest easy in this beautiful place.

I've brought the oils and ambrosia,

I need your entrancing face.

Lay with me under the cabana,

Let's drift away with the breeze.

Perhaps a dip in the pool,

Pretend it's our seas.

If relaxation is just not enough,

We shall head to the fire.

A massage for your shoulders,

And an outpouring of desire.

An evening by the fire is but an invitation away.

An evening by the fire is but an invitation away.

While others deal with the cold, harsh weather,

We'll stay warm next to the flames.

If the fire does not sate you,

We'll find some fine dames.

For what could be better in these times,

Than a lover's warm embrace?

Perhaps a sip of the naughty water,

I'll fill your every taste.

Churlish by day,

But gentle by night.

I'm here for you,

And your every delight.

A little soak, and all is well in the world.

A little soak, and all is well in the world.

Bring your friends and family too,

All are invited to this hidden splendor.

If you play the aggressor,

I'll play the befriender.

Take a dip, a bite, or a seat,

We shall dwell in the lap of lust.

Lusting for harmony with any and all,

The promise of this place is one you can trust.

No matter what it is you may choose,

I'm going to do what I am going to do.

Catch me in the jacuzzi lazing about,

But one of these days I hope to see you!

A Cordial Invitation to Paradise

What is paradise without people to share it with? Perhaps a quiet paradise, but who needs that? Come and fill the air with your presence, and enjoy the blessings that have befallen us.

"All for one, and one for all!" as they say.

Thank you, Eric, I appreciate you making such a distinction. You make me want to try harder on my next one!

This poem is good. It not just an ordinary poem. It is according to your experience.

I've always contended that it's the company you keep that makes the place what it is, but abso-freaking-lutely it is a lot better. Come take a load off!

As for the poem, I thank you, but I think I'm just using it as an excuse to post pictures and invitations, lol!

Thanks for reading!

Kyler,

It looks like you definitely found a piece of paradise!

Beautiful place to kick back and relax.

This is probably alot better than your last place.

Your poem was quite good as well.

Enjoy!
